His thoughts were oddly jumbled, something that he was neither used to nor happy with, but he was already resolving to stay at the tower until he had successfully cleared them. Leaning on the windowsill, he continued to stare out calmly. [/scrolly]

[KARP KARP!]

Outside, a Pidove and a Taillow could be heard chirping back and forth, apparently fighting over something in the air. Behind Lance, a Crobat was watching his every move, a suspicious look on his face.

It was both amusing and rather saddening that both humans and pokemon fought one another. After a moment, he stepped back and turned slowly looking back towards where Cora had been only to then catch sight of the Crobat. Had he awaken it? "Forgive me for waking you," he murmured before starting over towards a different section of the tower in order to maybe give the bat some peace. [/scrolly]

[KARP KARP!]

The Crobat blinked. Okay then? With that, he flew off, disappearing into the tower.

"Waken you, Waken you~" a voice from above mimicked; a Chatot, perched not far above. Farther ahead, a Skarmory was looking around, almost as if she were looking for something.

Even farther on, the sleeping form of a Flygon could be seen, breathing softly as he dreamed about Arceus-knows-what.

Now that was a rather rare and powerful pokemon, indeed. However, it was sleeping or at least appeared to be sleeping, and he wasn't one to directly attack as defenseless target. Instead, he found himself walking slowly over to said Flygon before sitting down slowly a few feet from him calmly. He'd wait and see if the dragon awoke, and if it ddin't, he'd let it be and continue on. [/scrolly]

[KARP KARP!]

The Flygon's eyes opened slowly, and he looked at the human. Hu? OHCRAP IT WAS A STALKER! The large Dragon jumped to his feet, backing up. <What do you want? Please don't hurt me!> He looked almost...terrified, sad...

Nearby, a Pidgeotto watched the human from a distance, though she showed no hurry to near them with the Flygon acting that way. A Pidove was farther off, paying no mind.

Suddenly, a Raichu ran up to him, clinging to his leg. What?!? A Raichu?!? And....shiny??? What was it doing there?

Meanwhile the writer of this post wondered how Lance got so lucky...

Blinking a moment confused as to how a pokemon of such a nature could get into the top of the tower, Lance stopped a moment and found himself looking around. However, as he saw no trainer around, he looked down again and put a hand on the electric type. "What's wrong?" he asked calmly stroking the Raichu before looking over towards the Flygon again. "Forgive me for startling you," he stated to the dragon. [/scrolly]

[KARP KARP!]

The Flygon sort of calmed at the apology. Oh, Okay. But at the Raichu's appearance, he shied away a bit more.

The Shiny Raichu looked up at Lance, teary eyed. "Raichu, rai rai chu raichu!" <I was carried up here by something and it dropped me off and tried to eat me and and and I'm so scared...> He buried his face in Lance's leg.

The Flygon blinked. <That's terrible...what did that...>

<I don't know...>

However, after a moment, he simply resolved to pat it on the head and look around again unsure of whether or not to tense up on a possible threat or not. After a moment, he looked towards the Flygon. "What's wrong?" was the question posed. [/scrolly]

[KARP KARP!]

The Raichu relaxed at being pat, and he looked up at Lance, smiling softly.

The Flygon blinked, then tried to pantomime being carried to the top of the tower. Instead it looked like he was trying to dance or something.

Suddenly, a loud screech shook the top of the tower as a large Braviary swooped in, aiming his talons at the Raichu.

<EEP! That's the one!> The Raichu tried a Thunder attack, which missed.

The Flygon aimed a Hyper Beam at the flying type, which hit-head on. Turning on the Flygon, the two Pokemon were locked in a staredown. Meanwhile the poor Electric Pokemon clung to Lance's leg. <Don't let it eat me...>

Biting the inside of his mouth, the man pulled out a pokeball and released a Pupitar. "Stone Edge on the Braviary," was the order, and with that, the rather easily irritated creature attacked the large bird. "It'll be alright," the blond haired man pat the Raichu. [/scrolly]

[KARP KARP!]

The Braviary was hit by both Stone Edge attacks, while the Raichu continued to hide behind Felis. Shaking himself off, the Flying Type lunged, hitting the Flygon with an Arial Ace.

But the Flygon retaliated with Dragonbreath, and the Braviary froze, paralyzed as he dropped to the ground, still struggling to find his feet.

If anything, he could at least get it to a pokemon center later to have it healed. Ugh... Lord ... that was another thought that had come to mind sadly. It seemed that after the kingdom had crumbled, a good number of pokemon centers had closed. It simply... wasn't good for anything or anyone. "It's alright...." he hummed a bit patting the Raichu on the head again calmly. [/scrolly]

The Braviary was drawn into the ball, too weak to put up much of a struggle.

Gender: Male
Ability: Keen Eye
Personality: Very stubborn, reckless, and quick tempered, this Pokemon is quite the handful. He believes he's never wrong, and as such will always do whatever he wants in a battle. On the subject of battling, he loves it with a passion. However, rodent Pokemon, be warned. This Pokemon is not above trying to eat them. Maybe a little--or a lot of--discipline, patience, and understanding can bring this wildcard under subjection?

The Shiny Raichu seemed to dance when Lance captured the Braviary. But then he stopped, realizing something. He was still trapped up here. <Chu?>

The Flygon smiled, seeing everything was working out. Then, he gave a long, sleepy yawn, glad the human wasn't evil like he first thought.

All other Pokemon in the area fled to safety during the battle.

It was a powerful bird, but he had a feeling it would take a long while before he could get it to the standards he saw fit. However, for now, he'd turn his attention back to the pokemon that were still there. Looking at the Raichu, the man pat him on the head a bit. "There now, you seem fine," he mused a bit before looking around. "If a bit stranded up here...." he mused a bit shaking his head. ".......Would you like to come with me?" he hummed. Meanwhile, the Puppitar just rolled his eyes greatly and said nothing. [/scrolly]

[KARP KARP!]

The Raichu nodded his head, jumping up and down, and pulling on Lance's pant leg. He really wanted out of here.

The Flygon, meanwhile, gave another yawn before curling back up in his corner.

Holding one out to the Raichu, he used the second to return the Pupitar. Part of him wished to pursue the Flygon, but another part was understanding enough that he had just caught a Barvairy of all things and that he should be complacent with such. "Alright then," he mused a little. [/scrolly]

[KARP KARP!]

The Raichu reached out happily, pushing the button on the ball, and it rang in capture with no fight whatsoever.

Ability: Static
Personality: This Pokemon is usually rather energetic and easy to get along with. He loves playing, and battling--which he considers a game in itself, usually. Though he's not very easy to get mad, he's terrified of birds larger than himself, even though he can easily defeat them. No one knows specifically why he's afraid of them, except that he doesn't want to be eaten. When afraid, he will cling to his trainer.

The Flygon curled back up in his corner, and went to sleep. Meanwhile, a Hoothoot's call could be heard from up in the rafters somewhere.

Suddenly, out of the shadows, there appeared a male Unfezant. He stood in silence, carefully eying Lance, but there was something different about him; he was solid black in color.

However, when the Unfezant appeared, Lance stared at it's dark coloring. Well, it seemed he was just attracting many pokemon by being there. "Did you need something?" was finally the question posed.
