Bianca had nearly forgotten how good this felt. True, she'd normally been a little informal in her battles when she'd been a more serious trainer, rather than touring big tournaments all the time, but that hadn't been due to any sort of fear or lack of confidence. In fact, even though she'd had the sense not to anything really revealing, Bianca strolled her way to her side of the battlefield with a confident strut and regarded her opponent with a cocky, and a little admiring, smirk. "Good luck, sweetheart," she said with a wink, before tossing a pokeball. Toby appeared in a flash of read, and the Leafeon gave a long, lazy stretch before looking around and realizing that it was time to fight. He took on an aggressive stance, narrowing his eyes and letting out a loud hiss, ready to fight.

The 'young man' blushed a fair bit at the woman's comment (or gestures, more), averting her gaze despite a small "Heh.." A Leafeon, huh? Wow, that was gorgeous. If she'd seen one up close, it had been years, and Alex made a mental note to look for one some time. As much as she would have liked to use Justice, the eon would resist most of his attacks, and.. Well, trying something different did sound interesting. Thus, it was Bianca's Flareon who appeared when Alex threw out a ball.
For a moment, Aaron looked a little surprised to see himself across an arena from Toby, but this was soon replaced by excitement. What better way to prove how strong he was than a friendly competition with his own teammates! "Good luck," called the trainer, as much to the Flareon as their opponents. She pondered just a moment, but then told the fire beast, "Let's get Worked Up a bit. Then Fire Spin." Entrapment was always good, especially when it added a little extra damage, and the Flareon was quick to comply.

Bianca tried her best not to giggle at the blush, but she backed a little off the flirty stance. She didn't want to fluster the poor man too much and distract him from the battle, after all. She could just pick up where she left off after the match.
The sight of Aaron caused an affectionate smile to come across Bianca's face, and made Toby falter just a little. He was facing one of the pups? Not quite the 'crush the enemy at all costs' scenario he was prepared for. Still, Bianca wanted him to battle, and battle he would. He'd just...try not to hurt the little guy too much.
"Toby, honey," Bianca said gently, noticing his slight hesitance and trying to reassure him, "Start with Double Team and Yawn." When dealing with a type disadvantage, live by the code of 'never let them hit you.' And when dealing with two pokemon who liked each other being opponents, don't go straight for Hyper Beam.

The Leafeon was by far faster and formed the Double Team increasing his evasion in turn. The Yawn then took form and caused Aaron to yawn in turn. Shaking his head a bit, Aaron used Work Up and then released the Fire Spin, yet possibly because of a combination between the accuracy of the move and the Leafeon's evasion tactics a few seconds earlier, the fiery attack missed its target and left Toby unfazed. Alex facepalmed, but sniffed a weak laugh. Well, this was a fun start. Sighing, she gave half a smile and ordered now, "Give it your own Double Team, then Flame Charge."

Bianca smirked as the fire missed its target, and the small group of identical Leafeon looked just a little smug. He wasn't going to go into full warrior mode with Aaron, but he was going to show the fire pup a few things.
Bianca was more concerned about staying out of Aaron's fiery charge of destruction and waiting for that Yawn to kick in. "Toby, Swords Dance and Dig."

Toby was still the speedier of the two and used a quick Sword Dance raising his attack in turn before burrowing under the ground that turn. The Flareon yawned again to himself before forming a Double Team and then willing himself to charge forwards. However, his attack missed due to the Leafeon being underground. In another second, Aaron yawned again, curled up, and went to sleep due to the effects of the yawn. Alex half-laughed again as the Leafeon dove into the earth. "You're good," she told Bianca. "Snore," she ordered the Flareon. It was better than nothing, after all.

Bianca quirked a brow and smirked at the compliment; oh, she was good at more than just this. "Benefit of experience, sweetheart," she replied, allowing a bit of a suggestive tone to creep into her voice, followed by a wink. She chuckled and backed off again a moment later, however; Bianca really did want to focus on the battle, though there wasn't much to do but wait until Toby finished his Dig.
However, as soon as he surfaced, hit or miss, her next order came. "Another Swords Dance."

The Dig came up right on target and nailed Aaron doing a good deal of damage. The Sword Dance then raised Toby's attack even higher. The Snore did a little damage, and well... it was something, at least. 'Something' indeed.. pff... Suddenly, it hit Alex that she had a much better option, causing her to mentally facewall and accidentally ignore Bianca's flirt- not that she would have responded very much. "Sleep Talk," she told the Flareon. Hopefully she'd get something good and not.. say.. Attract or Captivate..

Bianca smirked. Time to go on the offense. Sleep Talk was luck of the draw, and with Toby's duplicates in play adding a a layer of protection, she wasn't too worried. As for Aaron's own protection..."Aerial Ace!" Bianca's slightly more childish side was beginning to break through as she bounced on the balls of her feet at her end of the battlefield; pokemon battles never failed to fill her with excitement.

The Leafeon's Aerial Ace hit its mark and did a reasonable amount of damage. Meanwhile, Aaron deep in his sleep used a Charm attack when the Sleep Talk was ordered. Well that lowered Toby's attack at least. Toby the Leafeon, Male, Leaf Guard, no item: [Eva: 25%] HP: 949 ATK: 226 452 [Stage +2] DEF: 265 SPA: 219 SPD: 135 SPE: 289

This wouldn't be so bad if her Pokemon wasn't asleep through the entire battle. "Sleep Talk," she repeated, telling herself at least he was likely to wake up soon if he survived another hit.

Well, that could have gone better, but it could have gone a lot worse too. One more Aerial Ace wasn't going to cut it, especially with Toby's power lowered a little closer to normal now. She could try something more powerful, but then accuracy would come into play. She could try something with stats, but Aaron would only be asleep for so long and Bianca didn't have any illusions of Toby being fireproof...
"Baton Pass." The Leafeon's ears pricked and he looked at Bianca in surprise, but he dutifully performed the attack, wondering what she was up to.
Who took the field in his place was Blue the Riolu (or rather a number of her, due to the passed illusion copies), and it was all Bianca could so do not to squeal in delight. Lucario were a little too human-like to be anything other than unnerving to her, but their previous stage was still very firmly in the PUPPY! category of her mind. And her colours. Bianca's love of rarely-coloured pokemon and of dog pokemon collided in a moment of complete and utter girlish glee.
Getting back an itsy-bitsy, teeny-tiny bit of composure, she smiled at the fighting type when she looked back at her. "Hey there, pretty girl," she cooed. "Let's see what you can do." The implication she tried to convey was that she expected what she could do to be a lot, which she did. Unevolved or no, there were a lot of tricks in the species' arsenal.

The Baton Pass transferred the Riolu out onto the field. Meanwhile, Aaron used yet another Sleep Talk which came out to a round of Fake Tears that lowered the Special Defense of Blue. Just after that, Aaron finally awoke again looking rather sleepy but conscious at least.

"Nice nap?" Alex asked the Flareon. "Meet my friend Blue," she told him then. Aaron was.. a little surprised to see someone new across the field, not knowing for certain if Bianca had switched or if he'd beat Toby in his sleep (wouldn't that show everyone how awesome he was!), but right now wasn't the time for questions. "Work Up again and Flame Charge."

Bianca smiled when Aron woke up, slowly getting herself back under control. Okay, battle time, focus. "Okay, Blue," she said, happy when the Riolu looked to be listening. Bianca never lost her outward look of confidence, but admittedly dealing with a pokemon that wasn't her own concerned her a little. Even if it was a PUPPY! "Start with Agility and Detect."
Blue seemed pretty comfortable with that; they were thinking on the same wavelength regarding strategy for the moment.
