Actually, the irony-loving cynic in her couldn't decide if she was amused or not. Of all the opponents registered, she ended up facing Jasmine. And worse, she had had her dear Helen exchanged for Hades of all things. About the only way this could get better was if she were facing Vengeance- or was it "Victoria" now? ..Bitch.- and ended up with Lucifer. Baahh.
...She took that back. She could face Hatter and end up with that mother-fucking Golbat. OOGGHHH. Just the thought made her shudder... Oof. WELL, this ought to be simple enough, at any rate. She'd seen Jasmine battle, and was never impressed. Tried and true was always a good strategy, and as such, Siavush the Weavile took the stage.[/scrolly] | [atrb=style,border:0 black none;] | [atrb=style,height:22;border:0 black none;] |

Jasmine had been a bit surprised to find out that she would be facing Kali in her first battle. The teen was younger then her, but she knew that she could hold her own very well in a pokemon battle. She wasn't upset about having to face her, though she did have doubts now that she could win. She had both her Flygon and Weavile, but she had lost Hades. She was just glad she had talked to him and told him to follow his orders even though he would be fighting his own teammates. The jolteon had understood though h wasn't to happy about it.
She sighed a bit as she looked at the pokemon Kali had picked, her own Weavile. She pondered who would be best to battle this ice type, and she knew that it wouldn't be Perseus. The Flygon could use fire moves, but he was super weak to ice moves and if she used him he would be taken down in seconds. The pokemon she got from Kali was also weak on dark type moves, so it was clear on who she would battle with. Opening up her own pokeball she let out her own Weavile Themis. The ice pokemon looked eager to battle as he scanned the battle field spotting the other Weavile.
Jasmine smiled a bit looking at Themis, who had come a long way since she first caught him. He was one of her stronger pokemon, with his experience with battles and his drive to win. Looking at Kali, "You ready for this?" She couldn't say her and Kali were best friends, but there wasn't a down right sheering hate there. Well there might have been at first, but after Jasmine prove she was no threat she felt like things between them were a tad better. And she stressed the word tad.

Or.. more specifically, it had gone from a searing hate to just a regular hate. And of course this had nothing whatsoever to do with the fact that Kali still worried Jasmine was prettier than her even after proof that Leon wouldn't have noticed or cared even if she was. Kali smirked when she saw the other Weavile, however. She wondered how Jasmine would handle him, but honestly wasn't incredibly concerned. If she'd guesstimated things correctly, this would technically be a win-win match. Well, they'd see how it went.
Either ignoring Jasmine's question or answering indirectly, depending on how one looked at it, Kali called, "Siavush, Swords Dance and Brick Break." The Weavile, in turn, huffed a small sigh as usual, but began his dance. It was one of the very scant few non-offensive moves he'd bother with, just so long as Kali didn't ask him to stave off for too long.[/scrolly] | [atrb=style,border:0 black none;] | [atrb=style,height:22;border:0 black none;] |

Jasmine watched as the other Weavile began his dance that would only increase his attack power. Brick Break would do some damage to Themis since he was weak to fighting moves. Instead of calling for him to use a fighting move as well, she decided to go with a different move. "Wait for it then use payback." Once he was hit with the brick break attack she hoped he would be fast enough to strike back with his payback.

Due to Jasmine's order, Themis waited. Sia took Kali's orders, raised his attack two stages, and launched off a Brick Break. Themis fainted on contact without even being able to retaliate. She thought she got the idea- the move being stronger after being hit- but.. really? It was also a Dark-type move, which Siavush resisted, and that essentially cancelled out the boost being hit would have received. When the other Weavile went down, Kali just grinned. Her only concern had been Jasmine copying her (in which case she still would have had the small victory of gloating that Jasmine couldn't win otherwise; never mind the possibility she might have been going to do that anyway, that was ridiculous, obviously), and when she didn't.. "Ready when you are~" Kali answered belatedly in a little bit too sweet a tone.[/scrolly] | [atrb=style,border:0 black none;] | [atrb=style,height:22;border:0 black none;] |

So it's... been well over the three week limit and Ryder has definitely been on and even posting in other battles so...
'x3 Anyway... Siavush is faster than both of Perseus and Helen. So we're going to say in whichever order at some point in the battle Jasmine used both other Pokemon.
Against Helen Siavush used Night Slash which did between 1075 and 1265 damage if it hit normally and between 2150 and 2530 if it crit (which was a 25% chance with the combination of a high-crit move and the held Razor Fang), any number in either range exceeding her max HP of 942 and resulting in a one-shot with no chance to counter.
Against Perseus Siavush used Ice Punch which did between 2573 and 3027 damage if it hit normally and between 5146 and 6054 if it crit (hot damn quad-effective moves are scary xD), any number in either range exceeding his max HP of 1092 and resulting in a one-shot with no chance to counter.
x3; Themis's bad move really costed the whole thing, heh.
