She had only lost one pokemon to the Roulette, and it wasn't as if she wouldn't get Shimmer back right? Indeed. Just stay calm. After a moment, she slowly stepped out and towards her place in the arena. Upon seeing her challenger, Nero stopped a moment and simply stared at him before slowly taking out a pokeball. Releasing the Electivire first, Nero breathed inwards. She'd use the one she trusted the least first, and if he failed, then she would move on to the ones she felt closer to. Van walking to his spot in the arena let out a breathe filled with smoke. He stepped in the designated area and dropped the cigarette from his mouth to the floor. He stomped it out just t be safe Va saw his most trusted Pokemon He smirked before sending out his tiny little Aron. "I'm ready when you are." The young man called to his opponent. This is going to be fun he thought.

"Use earthquake before he hits you." Van thought if he could through L off balance he wouldn't be able to connect with an attack. It was a long shot,but he took chances.

Unfortunately for Van and even moreso for Aron, however, L was just shy of three times Aron's speed (literally 296.96-repeating%), and "before he hits you" was much easier said than done. By easier, the Electivire would essentially have to somehow miss or, say, be physically held down by some mysterious outside forces for there to even be a chance. The Brick Break crushed the Aron with devastating force, then, taking nearly half its health in the single blow. After a moment to recover, the Aron did leash his Earthquake, but just didn't seem to have the physical power to come near what L could do. While it certainly did knock the Electivire down, he had more than enough time to get up before the steel turtle could act.

Van told the Aron to use earthquake again. He may not be able to beat L , but he wont lose without a fight.

L's attack wasn't quite as bad this time. ...You know. In the same manner that being mauled by a bear wasn't quite as bad as being mauled by a lion. (Because cats are playful and may not just get it over with~) Yeah it was still pretty bad. Aron, again, couldn't seem to do much.

Was she... maybe feeling almost a little sad about this battle? Probably. She had an Aron herself and well.... However, that oddly brought a thought about how to negate those Earthquakes as well.
