Seeing as they're already technically dead, yes that's true. However, from the pains that they have expression wise, it seems as though simply disolving is extremely painful, though.

Rin isn't that useless. Just because she never studied a specific branch of magic- and just because it's considered basic doesn't mean she did, as it's implied it's so basic she had no reason to, having been specializing in more advanced things from the very beginning, like, I dunno, intentionally summoning servants which seven people in the whole world will be capable of doing at any given time- doesn't discount the fact she brought Shiro back from the dead at least once and saved Saber's life with a thing they not only didn't know how to do but would have been too scared to do on their own without her, and I certainly don't see Shiro letting Saber fight on her own like EVER until the end, let alone sacrificing her to save the rest of them the way Rin allowed Archer, because she unlike Shiro could get over her own desires to look at the bigger picture and understood that only one of them could get out unscathed and Saber had better odds of defeating other servants than Archer did if they could heal her and Archer was more capable of buying them time and yeah. 'x3 [/rant]

@mc: yes xP but that just brings up the fundamental question on the definition of life and death and I'm not sure where to begin on that, personally. o3o! However, the whole thing with the Holy Grail preserving things as they are tends to be a factor in that as well. ~__~ also Aoshi is NOT Archer ffffff. 'x3 Aoshi would be Assassin class, end of frickin' story. .3. Misao would even be Assassin class.... seriously. :U
@sg: xP my favorite is Ilya end of story.
.3. also I weirdly suddenly ship Rin/Caster..... I have no idea where that came from.
