Hitting the wall, she cried out causing Nero to cringe as well. After a moment, Ember looked weakly at Nero, and teh dark haired woman breathed inwards before holding out her pokeball and returning the fire horse. That was fine. "It's alright, girl," she mumbled to the pokeball before putting it away and releasing a regular colored Beldum, Aster. He was a bit more trainer than Ember and had been in a few battles already. However, Nero wasn't going to let him into her mind just yet. "Iron Head," she called, and with that, Aster took off with the attack. [/scrolly]

Mekura listened as the Ponyta was withdrawn from the battle and a beldum was sent in her place. Will-o-wisp then charge beam... Next she would have to rest Risa she could tell her pokemon was running out of Stamina with all the large psychic moves she had done.

Risa nodded her head and brought up her arms as she was hit with the attack. Before he could get away she formed the will-o-wisp and released it on the Beldum and followed it with a Charge Beam. Close range attacks were a bit harsher then if she had let him get away.

The Chargebeam was also taken rather well considering defense and that measure. "Take Down then Zen Headbutt," Nero stated aloud, and with that, the Beldum was off again. [/scrolly]

Risa cried out as she was hit by both. Standing she panted and glared. She didn't wanna be take down. Not yet. Substitute then Rest Risa... Risa quickly got the doll up and closed her eyes. Taking a deep breath she sat down and went to sleep. It was only for a little while. Mekura closed her eyes as she heard Risa summon the doll. Soon enough she was left in darkness as her psychic went to sleep and restored her energy. It would be okay. Opening her eyes she looked up apparently watching her opponent.

"Iron Head repeatedly," was finally what she stated. At first, Aster hesitated. However, suddenly looking determined, he nodded before forming the attack and slamming it down on the doll not once, not twice, but three times in a row rather violently. He wasn't going to give up! Mekura linked her hands behind her back not liking that she couldn't see the battle. Use Sleep talk if you can hear me. Mekura hoped her pokemon could still hear her. The doll wouldn't hold up much longer it had actually cracked under the pressure of the blows. Risa twitched then rose with a fire punch and attempted to hit the opponent in her sleep.

"Iron Head again," was all Nero stated, and once more Aster attacked the doll with the move. [/scrolly]

Mekura winced as she heard the doll shatter and disappear. Risa was still asleep. Sleep talk again. Risa needed to wake up soon if she was gonna be able to defend properly. Risa swayed in sleep on her feet as she used the move snore. When she was done she fell on her bottom again and seemed to stay asleep.

Aster took the Snore a bit better than normal given his defenses, yet he was still wearing down a bit from all the attacking. Shaking his form before charging in once more, the Beldum attacked again. Risa who seemed to finally be waking up stretched and was knocked back by the blow. Shaking her head she got up wincing. Well that would teach her to take her time waking up. Fire punch twice if possible. Risa nodded her head even as flames burst around her hand. Quickly moving in she attempted to punch the pokemon not once but twice. Mekura Sighed inwardly as she finally got Risa's point of view on the battle again. She liked her pokemon awake unless she had her other psychics out.

"Iron Head," was the call, and with that, the Beldum used to move once again. [/scrolly]

Risa taking the fight over used Disable in an attempt to disable the Iron defence. When he tried to hit her with iron head she used Protect and sheilded herself from the attack. Taking a deep breath she let it out slowly to watch the other pokemon.

Mekura nodded her head over Risa's choices. They were bad and she often encouraged her pokemon to take over the battle so she was okay with Risa taking over.

"Iron Head," Nero stated, and with that, the Beldum rushed forwards again. [/scrolly]

Risa brought her arms up and took the attack but quickly formed a fire punch and tried to hit the other pokemon as close range. Then followed it up with a Shadow sneak. Risa couldn't think of a move that would take his defense down. Maybe another pokemon could. Carefully she debated on switching out with an ally.

Mekura let her choose whether or not she could handle this opponent. The defense was high and Risa as far as Mekura knew didn't have an attack that lowered Defense. Maybe if she were to evolve she'd have an attack that lower defense.

However, they were slowly starting to wear him down at least. "Headbutt," Nero stated, and with that, the Beldum changed tactics and formed a regular head attack instead of the Iron one. [/scrolly]

Risa brought her arms up and took the blow even as she was tossed back. Panting she took the chance to use imprison. She actually should have used it before. It would hopefully prevent her opponent from using any moves that Risa herself knew. Which was quite a lot. Following it up with a hypnosis she took a moment to rest while watching her opponent.

Mekura was doing her best not to flinch over the attacks that were landing on Risa. The more Risa hurt the more Mekura hurt mentally. Taking a deep breath she let it out slowly to calm her worries. Though she did wonder if Risa was gonna attempt to take on more of Nero's pokemon. With rest and substitute it would be likely but Risa may get tired of fighting. Well at least she knew ally switch if she felt the need to rest in her ball.

Aster had a very limited move pool to begin with given he wasn't a Metang, and he still had attacking moves to use when it came down to it. The Hypnosis, due to the accuracy of the move itself, missed its target. "Iron Head," Nero stated, and with that, Aster was attacking again. [/scrolly]

Risa taking the hit cried out. Panting she rose up again. Deciding she needed to rest she used the move Ally Switch. She knew her limits and this pokemon wasn't gonna go down for her. Disappearing into her ball she was replaced with Luce. The albino Lucario. Luce looked about a bit confused for a moment before looking to Mekura. ("This is rather interesting.")

Mekura chuckled and nodded her head. This was her first time battling with Luce. Opening her mind fully to him she let him brief her on his knowledge of the moves he knew.

That was... a steel type.. at least in part. She'd heard of them in Tree-Top Town, yet she had never seen one of such coloring before... "Impressive," she murmured knowing that Aster didn't have the Special Defense to deal with a Lucario. However, she'd give it a try at least. "Zen Heaadbutt," Nero ordered. With the change in pokemon, the Imprison had been lifted. [/scrolly]

Luce moved into Counter attack as the zen headbutt hit. Calmly he followed it up with a blaze kick. Stepping back into his place he watched his opponent. He actually should have his brother out here. It would be great practice for the Riolu. He sent his thoughts on the matter to Mekura only to hear her chuckle. Looking back at her he arched a brow.

"Alright maybe with her next pokemon. Then you can talk him through the battle." Mekura was still amused though. The Lucario was always making sure his brother had a good chance. Lots of hard books and a bit of training during the week. He was a good parent.
