From where she was sitting, she could see different battles going on, and if she looked through said battles, she could see the front entrance of the building. It was rather early in the morning still, not even close to noon, yet the area was already heated up with battles going around. Nero's eyes shifted over the area again rather slowly. She needed to train more.... She needed Asa to evolve as well as her other pokemon for that matter. The bar was being raised, and Nero was following after it. However, sadly enough, she still wasn't too confident about simply going up to others and asking for a battle. Because of this, she simply ended up sitting there waiting to see if anyone came in and maybe just hope to get challenged. [/scrolly]

Mekura walked into the center looking oddly out of place. Risa had wanted to practice so this was the best place to get into battles. Mekura pulled on the bill of her hat hiding her eyes even as she felt Risa pat her head. Why did she let her pokemon talk her into these kind of things. Hana followed behind her slowly an egg in her tails. It was her turn to carry it today.

Risa bounced slightly on Mekura's shoulders as she spotted a familiar figure. ("Look! Its Nero! Its Nero! Think she'll battle with us?") She waved at the male looking figure and smiled. Giggling she didn't even wait for Mekura's answer before she projected her thoughts to the girl. ("Hello! Nice to see you again.")

Mekura sweat dropped and turned slightly in the direction Risa had spotted Nero. She was more hesitant about speaking up. The last time they had met it had turned out bad because of the noble.

However, when she did in fact realize that it was someone that didn't belong to her but that she knew anyways, the dark haired woman looked up a moment rather slowly. Upon seeing Mekura and Risa, the dark haired woman smiled and slowly stood up. "Hello, it has been a while hasn't it," she started starting to walk over towards the girl. The last time they had met was when- that stupid noble... However, for some reason, Nero couldn't work up the passion of hate that she had had for Kero previously that had drove her to such aggression as before. Had she moved on? It seemed so and was probably for the best under all circumstances. "How have you been?" she asked calmly. [/scrolly]

Risa grinned when the girl finally seemed to look up at them. ("Yes it has. Its nice to see you again!") She had liked playing games with her pokemon. It was the most fun they had that winter. Hana sat down and watched though was careful to keep the egg in her tails.

Mekura nodded her head. "Fine cept Risa has had this need to enter me in things. We won a random egg in a raffle cause of it. How have you been?" Risa only grinned over Mekura's words. It was fun entering Mekura in things. Now she wanted to get stronger. She wanted to be able to protect Mekura like Hana could. ("Can we battle with you?")

They won an egg? Well that was impressive. "Do you know what is in the --" she started but was cut off by Risa's question on wanting to battle. Hm? Looking at the small psychic with a curious expression, Nero finally smiled back. "I could use some training on a few of mine, if you wished to have a practice battle or something of that nature," she answered back. [/scrolly]

Mekura listened and heard her cut off as Risa cut in. Could Risa let her finish talking first? "The lady said it was a summer type hybrid and thats all she told me." Risa listened to Nero and nodded her head. Yes thats why they were here! ("I wanna get stronger and evolve so that I can take better care of Mekura.") Mekura's cheeks went red over that statement. It made her sound like she was some type of kid. "Risa rephrase that." Risa blinked and ended up in a giggle fit. ("Sorry Mekura. So that I can um help Mekura out more! There.") That was better.

Well that wasn't very descriptive, but then again, maybe it was simply to just add some fun of sorts. "I see," she answered back to Mekura before looking at Risa and understanding what the Ralts was saying. "Alright, we'll battle then... if that's alright with you," she stated after a moment looking up at Mekura gently. [/scrolly]

Mekura nodded her head even as she felt Nero's gentle gaze. Hm? Did she know something? "Yup fine with me." Backing up she felt Risa teleport to her position in the battle field. She was practically bouncing with excitement. Though she did worry about losing. She didn't wanna leave Mekura on her own. Well she had Rio and Luce with her so it would be okay. Nodding to herself she faced Nero.

A Ponyta took form from the flash of light and looked at Nero a tad surprised and confused. "It's alright, Ember," Nero stated aloud causing the Ponyta to soothe a little. "We're going to try a battle, alright?" was the wording. After a moment, the fire horse nodded and looked forwards. "Begin with Flame Charge," was the order, and with that, the Ponyta suddenly lunged forwards with the fiery move. [/scrolly]

Risa Protect then Hypnosis... Even as Mekura thought it she wondered if the girl had used a fire type before. If she remembered right most of her pokemon were psychics. Deciding it wasn't worth worrying about she listened to the noises.

Risa nodded her head and through up a barrier avoiding the fire attack. Then before the Ponyta could get out of range used hypnosis. It would be pretty hard to dodge this close up.

Nero rubbed her temples a little thinking of what she wanted to do. "Ember if you can hear me use Sleep Talk!" Nero called. The sleeping Ponyta seemed to doze before suddenly forming a Fire Spin before shooting it at Risa. Well... that had actually worked, it seemed. [/scrolly]

Risa blinked and teleported to be behind her opponent. Risa Ice punch.. Mekura was lucky that teleport was becoming second nature to her ralts. It was a handy skill to have. Risa formed ice around her fist and quickly raced forward in an attempt to hit the fire type with the punch. Hana watched interested in the battle. She had seen Nero battle before when she had protected the stupid Noble. The ponyta must be really new. Watching Risa she wondered if the little one would push her limits today or not. Some days she would some days not really.

However, the type match up made it to where the attack wasn't very effective against the fire horse. "Sleep talk again," Nero called. She'd have to continue this way until Ember awoke. Meanwhile, the fire horse formed a Body Slam and made to hit the Ralts. [/scrolly]

Dream eater Risa.. Risa took the hit but quickly used Dream eater on the ponyta. When it hit half the damage would go to healing Risa. It was a neat move if Risa said so herself. Mekura listened and hoped the Ponyta didn't wake up before Dream eater hit. Well even if she did wake up she could use telekinesis to put the ponyta in the air. Risa could actually win it. She hoped her pokemon did. It would be a nice confidence boost for Risa.

Well that was one way to get her up. Nero sighed knowing that the poor horse had taken some damage from that even though she didn't show much outside of bewilderment at the moment. "Ember use Swift," Nero called. With that, the fiery pony released the flying stars. [/scrolly]

Risa who had gotten healed from her last move brought her arms up in time to sheild her head. She still tooks some damage. Hypnosis again, then Psyshock.. Her best chance was to keep the pokemon asleep. Risa dropped her arms and let loose another Hypnosis on the horse pokemon. Quickly she followed it with the Psyhock. Mekura got the images from Risa and rubbed her head a bit. This could prove very interesting. Especially since Neither really had the upper hand. Well it could be worse she supposed. If it was another psychic, then it would definitely be even ground.

However, the docile fire horse didn't have time to miss the Psyshock that hit her pretty hard and sent her reeling backwards. "Flame Charge," was all that was stated, and with that, the Ponyta charged again. [/scrolly]

Mekura shook her head as the first attack missed but the second hit. Risa Teleport away then use Psyshock again.. Risa teleported away from the charge and appeared behind the horse pokemon. Quickly she released the Psyshock again. Maybe next time they could use substitute and rest next. The teleport still wore her out. Not a lot but it did take energy to teleport correctly.

Looking backwards towards Nero, the fire horse whimpered a bit. She wasn't used to battle. This was hard! "Relax, Em," Nero's words came and seemed to soothe the Ponyta quite a bit. "Flamethrower," Nero stated, and with that, Ember attacked again. She was tired already, but she had to keep going! [/scrolly]

Risa through up a protect then looked to Risa for her command. Psychic for now. Risa nodded her head and turned back to her opponent and used Psychic. Watching her opponent she tilted her head. Had this Ponyta ever battled before? Mekura blinked just a bit confused over the reaction she had seen from Risa's mind.
