Van was sitting On a bench at the base of the tower. It was his favorite place to hang out. He loved to watch the pokemon and just the over all atmosphere. The only problem was today was really hot. He had unzipped his grey vest to reveal a white undershirt. His Jeans were baggy which gave his legs some breathing room. (I wonder what today has in-store for me) he thought to himself. He looked around and saw as people passed going here and there. He had no place to go so he stayed on his bench. and closed his eye's. He leaned back and listened to the sounds around him. If left to long he would fall asleep.

There were plenty of rumors around it... but from what she'd heard, she just assumed that loyalists, royalty, or either of those parties' Pokemon must have kept the thing running. Something was probably missing from within the large construct that a Pokemon or person could replace... As she stood, looking up at the tower, she shook her head. "This isn't promising," she muttered to herself and Flambeau, who sat atop her head.
The melanistic Litwick matched her current outfit, and thus the most basic reason why he was released. Despite the heat, Arcadie was dressed in a black and purple, overly frilly dress. While its sleeves were short and puffy, she had adorned thin gloves that covered up to her upper arm. She seemed less than bothered by the heat, surprisingly, and started to head toward the tower at a slow pace. She didn't have faith in this building holding anything that would be of interest to her but she was already here so there was no reason not to look. On the way, however, she was accidentally shoved in Van's direction by a passerby and while glaring at said person, she kicked the other teen's leg. Flambeau made a displeased sound and flailed his little arms a bit, seeming to berate the stranger for not moving out of her way... despite his eyes having been closed. Arcadie didn't apologize and simply continued on her way, now fairly annoyed that her day was going downhill. [/scrolly] |

Upon being kicked Van oped his right eye to see who or what had hit him. He spied a person who was in a direct line from where he was sitting "Either watch where your going or apologize you bitch."
He had both eye's open now and was looking at her back. Slightly irritated that she didn't take the second to say sorry. Van looked at how short she was and instantly assumed she was like 12. (Little brat where is the world coming to these day's) He thought to himself.

Turning to glare back at the boy, she made a sound of displeasure. "Perhaps it's you who should apologize to everyone walking down the road. Having your legs sprawled out like that isn't safe for anyone. I could have tripped and injured myself. I apologize to people who deserve apology and if you had seemed hurt, then maybe that would have been deserving. Oh, and that's such a horrible excuse for an insult towards someone you know nothing about... maybe you should brush up on your definitions." Flamebeau, meanwhile, stayed atop her head and snickered quietly. However, he looked a little disappointed when she turned to start walking away again. Arcadie had no desire to stay, though, and was quickly making her way to the tower once again. [/scrolly] |

He apologize for something that was completely her fault? What was this girls deal? "Hey I'm sitting down minding my own business not like a tripped you. You come in and kick me the least you could do is say sorry. By the way I would apologize if there was something for me to say it for." As far as Van saw it he was not in the wrong. "Also a bitch is a female dog right? By the looks of it I'm not wrong." Van cracked his neck he was being agitated. This was going south and fast. He had done this many times before and not one problem until she showed up.

The Pokemon quickly shook his head and gave a negative noise to indicate that no, he didn't see a single dog -- Pokemon or not -- in the area, much less a female one. "No? I didn't think so. And I suppose you didn't hear any of the absurd notions that I heard just a moment ago, did you?" Unable to help himself, the Litwick looked around at this question, his eyes particularly glancing over Van before he shook his head. Another noise indicated that no, he hadn't heard anything! Perhaps she was imagining things? Arcadie nodded her head slightly and continued on her way. She had better things to do than deal with an idiotic boy. [/scrolly] |

Van began to laugh "So stupid you can't even understand when someone is insulting you. You're a real idiot you know that? " Van was getting tired of the bickering. "If you're so better then me how's about a battle ? Unless you're scared?" Ok maybe he wasn't tired of it.

Tsk tsk. Who's the idiot? I also never said I was better, but thank you for noticing!" Arcadie giggled in a mockingly flattered way and slowly turned back toward him with a slow shake of her head. "You want a battle? I can oblige that. I'll even make it easy for you and choose my Pokemon first," she offered and reached into her purse to produce a Pokeball. Tossing it forward, she called, "Let's go, Aubergine." With that and a flash of sparkles from the Pokemon, a hybrid took form. He looked interestedly at Van and smirked faintly, waiting. [/scrolly] |

Then the hybrid took form and Van blinked a few times. A hybrid? Don't see to many of those now days. without saying another word he drew a pokeball from his belt. Clicking the button he released a snorlax. Who also seemed to sparkle that was due to it being a shiny Pokemon. The Snorlax made an ungodly noise. The Pokemon was snoring witch meant it was asleep. "Ready when you are." Van said with a smirk. [/scrolly] |

I'm telling you it's a horrid excuse for an insult," she stated plainly. As the Snorlax was released, Arcadie looked faintly annoyed. "You really are stupid, aren't you? I tell you that your legs stretched out were rude and dangerous because they took up room and you release this ugly thing? Ugh. Aubergine... Swords Dance, then Worry Seed."
Immediately, the hybrid crossed its arms, each glowing a lavender color. Then, he spit up a seed into his claw and chucked it at the Snorlax. Upon contact, presumably, it would attach itself like a bur, latching on and starting to cause an itch that even that giant wouldn't be able to ignore. [/scrolly] |

As soon as the worry seed hit snorlax Van smiled as the women played right into his trap. The snorlax let out a ear shattering roar and stood up. This Pokemon was now at the epitome of anger with fire in his eyes. A call came from Van "Snorlax use work up!" As commanded the snorlax began waving his arms and raised his special attack stat. "Now Ice beam!" The snorlax the sucked in a huge breathe and blew out an icy cold beam at the tiny Pokemon. Van was good at battling it was the one of the few things he was good at, and he would be damned if he lost to this pretentious bitch as he would say. [/scrolly] |
