Well that made sense! That was why pokemon had pokemon food wasn't it? Yep! And even out in the wild they sometimes ate things that were different! o3o And it was then that the realization as to how different pokemon and animals were at times slowly hit Rosa and would burrow down into her psyche where she would later decide she wanted to be some sort of researcher and hold that to her list of goals and dreams as well. As Joel continued and talked about the eggs, Rosa flashed a smile. "Yummy eggs!" she grinned thinking over scrambled eggs. Yummmy yumm yumm... Looking back at the chickens, Rosa bent down and reached out her hand to pet one of them. "They looked scary far away... but they're really pretty up close," she hummed.

Joel gave another nod, smiling at Rosa.
Meanwhile, the nearest chicken stepped warily toward the girl after finishing her share of feed. She looked at Rosa sideways, hoping she'd get more food.
Joel chuckled. "Yep. And nothing beats the taste of a fresh egg."

Part of her wished to back up considerably and hide from the stare of the chickens, yet after a few seconds, a different thought came to mind, and she took out more feed and held it out towards the bird. "Chickens look scary sometimes," she murmured a bit.

"It's okay, Rosa. These won't hurt you," he reassured her. "But if one does I'll fry her and serve her with a side of rice," he muttered as an afterthought.
The hen, a rather large white one, stepped forward, eating the feed out of Rosa's hand, pecking the seed and not skin. When finished, she walked away.

That was true .x. even if they looked scary, they shouldn't really be that mean or anything right? Everyone and everything was good right? Somewhere in there, yeah! After a few seconds, Rosa closed her hand as the chicken moved off and found herself giggling quite a lot. "Wow! So... careful to get the food!" the little girl suddenly laughed.

Joel chuckled heartily, nodding his head. "They are. I'd always wanted chickens, and Felis was kind enough to let me have some. I paid for them, of course, but he gave me this bit of the land to put them on." He smiled, holding out his hand. "Come on, let's go set the table and get the others."

"Ok!" she complied rather quickly before turning back into the kitchen and starting to go through the drawers looking for some sort of cutlery. After a few moments, she located what she was looking for and held up a hand full of forks to Joel grinning all the while. "Here we go!" she smiled lightly.
