Dirt Road Anthem (open/mod)

Erianna was lost, there was no other way to put it. She had been wandering through the Eastern Woods when the stumbled across the Arcane Temple and, exhaustion getting the best of her, entered. She knew it was a stupid thing to do, just a glance at the building would tell her that. It was crumbling apart, there was a pretty good chance that is would fall in. However fear had been preventing for for sleeping during the eighteen hours that she had been lost in the forest, she was to tired to think properly. And so the mute girl entered the Arcane Temple and began wandering around, soon entering a small room and slouching against the wall. Almost as soon as she touched the wall she began sliding down, it was not long until she was just sitting on the floor. A little sleep couldn't hurt, could it?

OOC: I talked to Jay, part of the room of the room in going to cave in, blocking the entrance to the room. Cue life-or-death situation!

Also lost was Harvey, and he even got separated from Sofia to boot! This was just not his say, the young boy grumbled as he walked though the woods. Rayna his shiny Riolu, was walking by his side. Even with her power of aura she had no idea where they where. So she also was kinda grumbling and arms crossed." Man this sucks!! We are lost, and got separated from Sofia!! I hope she is ok..." Harvey said. Rayna looked up at him and nodded. " I hope she is ok too, Though she has her Pokemon. They will make sure no harm comes to her." Rayna said. Harvey knew that was true, all her Pokemon loved her. After what felt like hours Harvey and Rayna came to the run down temple. When Harvey saw it a smile came to his face. " Hey Rayna, that looks like it would be fun to explore.. Who knows we might find something cool!" Harvey said with excitement in his voice, his eyes lighting up. Rayna blinked and looked at the temple and shook her head. " It does not look safe Harvey it may not be a very good idea to enter." Rayna said. Harvey just laughed though and started to run in. " Aw come on Rayna! It will be fun!" Harvey said as he ran inside. Rayna sighed annoyed and ran after her trainer.




Also in the same area was Otsuyu, though she was not lost. She had come here to look for ghost Pokemon. She had heard some lived here and wanted to check it out. the little girl hummed as she walked, Maggie her Mismagius was out with her. Maggie was humming along with her trainer, but also keeping an eye out for any danger that may try to attack them. Never knew what other ghosts would do.. Some like to play pranks, or be friendly, or they could be nasty and attack on site. Something Otsuyu knew all to well, a Spiritomb attacked one time and now she fears any Spiritomb she sees. After a while they had come up to the temple, it was after Harvey ran inside so they did not see him. Otsuyu stopped and looked it for a bit. Yes it looked old and scary, but that just made her want to go in even more. " Lets go in Maggie, it looks like this place will be lots of fun." Otsuyu said with a smile and walked in. Maggie followed after her trainer though both had no idea of the danger they had just walked into.

Alex was walking around with his I-pod. He had his DJ headphones and was currently listening to Super Bass by Nicki Minaj. The boy was walking to the beat and got caught up in the music. After the song had finished he looked around only to realize he was lost. he looked the left and then the right. "Shit." was all he said then he turned around and saw the temple. "hm well couldn't hurt." The boy walked into the temple. Unaware of the impending danger.

The Temple was usually quiet, but teemed with Poke'mon at this hour; perhaps it was lunch time? Regardless, there was plenty of activity to be seen...

Flying overhead, a Natu and a fair-feathered Noctowl could be seen in what appeared to be a race, of sorts; the Natu would zip around the air while the albino Noctowl followed close behind, even surpassing the smaller bird at some point. What was up with that...?

On the ground immediately inside the temple, a Shroomish could be found having a fierce argument with a Buneary, the pair of them standing over what appeared to be an Oran Berry. The Buneary pointed a small paw at the Shroomish and yelled, while the Shroomsih gasped and shook his head, slapping the Buneary's offending paw out of the way. Oh dear, that didn't look very good at all!

Near the argument, a Golett poked his head around a pillar and sighed at the feuding pair, shaking his head somewhat. If one were to inspect the Golett closely, they would notice his odd coloration. Yes, he was indeed shiny! Shaking his head again, the Poke'mon went about his business, walking at a slow pace about the Temple, somewhat near Alex.

A Musharna poked her head into the room Erianna had dozed off in, having sensed somebody in here. She blinked at the human, tilting her head. "Shaaar?" She cooed, hovering over to the girl and nudging her. Was she... was she okay? o3o;

Dangling up above, something similar to a lighting fixture gently swayed back and forth. In reality, this was a Chandelure who was keeping a close watch on the ground below him, a devious grin plastered to his face. He knew travelers loved to inspect the temple... and he loved to scare the pants off of em! So here he waited for his next victim to come along... any time now...

Erianna opened her eyes when she heard the Musharna, while she had not gotten much sleep it did help. The girl gave a slight smile and reached out her hand to the Pokemon, slowly as not to frighten it. The creature looked rather harmless, however there was no way to be sure. Maybe if would make a good addition to my team? With that in mind the girl stood up and threw a great ball.

[scrolly:h(230),w(390),sy,as(padding:4px;margin-top:10px;margin-left:10px;)] Otsuyu walked through the temple looking at everything in awe, it was so scary and creepy that she loved it!! How come she never heard of this place before?? It looked just as fun as the haunted grove. Otsuyu smiled and started to skip along the halls with out much fear and not knowing the danger around her. She soon came to the area where the Chandelure was, though she did not notice it right away. Maggie did though but did not say anything to Otsuyu, she would just keep an eye on the Pokemon and make sure it would not harm Otsuyu. Mean while thanks to the light the Chandelure was providing Otsuyu took time to look around the room. It was very large but not much in it, if there where more things in the room Otsuyu did not see them. The young girl then turned to Maggie and smiled. " I just love this place Maggie!! I wonder how deep it goes and what can be found here." Otsuyu said excitedly, her eyes lilting up. " Just be careful Otsuyu, this place is old and dangers lurk around in the darkness." the Mismagius said to her trainer. Otsuyu blinked and just shrugged and kept looking around the room. Harvey and Rayna walked around the temple, Harvey had a huge smile on his face, yes this place was creepy but it just called out to be explored. Though Rayna was a little worried and wanted to leave right now, but Harvey was just to stubborn for his own good!! Oh well she would do her best to protect him if anything where to pop up. Though for good measure, Rayna closed her eyes and started to use the power of aura to get a better feel of things. After a few minutes Rayna stopped when she did not feel anything near by. Some Pokemon but that was about it. " I'm glad we did get lost, I want to explore the whole temple!" Harvey said. Rayna sighed and shook her head. Harvey could be annoyeing at times... Oh well, she would just have to deal with it. " Just be careful.. Old places like this could have booby traps..." Harvey laughed at thought though. " Oh Rayna, that kind of things only happens in the movies." Harvey said as he walked.

Alex walked through the temple now listening to linkin park. He just loved music in general all styles and types. He turned a corner to see a golett. He turned his head to the side seeing it was shiny. He put the song on pause and walked over to the Pokemon. "Well Hi there how's it going?" He asked in a rather energetic voice.

The Musharna blinked as Erianna woke up, smiling and sighing in relief. Oh good, the girl was okay! Yet before she could inquire further, the human... threw a Great Ball at her? The Musharna blinked once more, her eyes narrowing and engulfing the oncoming ball in a Psychic, flinging it back towards Erianna. How... how rude! She had come to check on the human's safety and this is how she gets repaid? "Mush!" The Musharna said, turning her head away and folding her arms. Hmph indeed!

The Chandelure spotted Otsuyu and snickered to himself, rocking his frame somewhat. Oh yess, a young victim! She wasn't alone, though... bah! More people to frighten, then! He remained still as the girl approached before dropping down as she passed by, spitting small balls of flames to chase after the girl's heels. Oh yes, he felt so devious!

The Natu suddenly flew next to Harvey, using him as a shield of sorts against the Noctowl. The owl, however, was smart and flew around Harvey quickly, causing the Natu to squeak and fly off, circling around Harvey and Rayna rapidly, with the Noctowl close on her tail. What an odd game they were playing... or... was it even a game? .3.;;

The Golett blinked at Alex and took a couple steps back as he approached, his eyes narrowing slightly. What did this human want? The Golett was wary, having attracted humans before due to his coloring... he knew their game, it was all 'me me me' with no respect! He folded his arms and watched Alex calmly, shrugging a shoulder at his inquiry. He was just here... that was all.

[Willow]

Erianna gave a silent sigh as the Musharna popped out, there was no doubt that it would be mad now. With a sigh she slowly bent down and picked up the greatball, almost mocking her failure with its presence. As she placed it back in her bag she allowed herself to slide back down to the ground. She felt as if weights where weighing down on her eyes once again. I was not meant to be in places like this for any amount of time... I'm so tired.

Just as her eyes began to close the sound of a voice and twittering alerted her. It seemed to be coming from some part of the temple, some part close to her room. As she turned her head to face the sound a small cloud of dust gathered from where her head had moved against the wall, causing her to sneeze.

But she soon broke out in giggles as she ran a few steps and turned to face the Chandelure. Oh yes she just loved it! It would be hers! " Oooh!! A prankster!! I like that!! I like to scare people with my ghost Pokemon to! You are just perfect for my team! Maggie! Use Mean look then Shadow Ball!" Maggie was all to Happy to attack, how dare that Chandelure attack Otsuyu!! Prank or not!! So Maggie used mean look so Chandelure could not run away and used Shadow Ball trying to hit the other ghost Pokemon. [/scrolly] [bg=776fa1]

Harvey was just walking looking at the things around him when all of a sudden a Natu hid behind him followed by a very angry looking Noctowl chasing after it. Having no idea what was going on the boy stood still as the two ran around him. Though he then took action, when the Natu came front again he reached out and got hold of the poor scared Pokemon and took off running. " Don't worry Natu! I would let that Pokemon hurt you!" Harvey said Rayna did not wait to move, her paw started to charge with electricity. " Hey bird! Thats my trainer your messing with!" Rayna said and jumped forward and tried to use Thunderpunch on the Noctowl.

( OOC: Misty if I end up beating the Noctowl go ahead and catch it. I don't wanna steal it from you. ^^;; )

Alex read the gotlett's gestures as he had done something very wrong. Alex asked a different question this time around. "Are you mad at something or someone?" Alex wouldn't believe he was the root cause because he had done nothing wrong. He waited for a response from the small Pokemon. When he heard a girl scream. He stood up in alert he did a quick 360. "Someones in trouble." Alex insinuated.

[DJ Boomkitty]

The Musharna sighed and watched Erianna settle, shaking her head slowly. Perhaps she had just been tired? That seemed likely. "Mush." She said softly, as if in apology. Yet as she approached the girl, she too heard the noise and blinked, staring at the dust. Warily, she eyed the room and paused... it wasn't stable! "Musharna!" She called quickly, seizing Erianna and floating towards the door with her.

The Chandelure blinked, completely taken off guard by the attack. Oh, so they wanted to play dirty, eh? Well... he was the king of such foul play! At the mean look, he only snickered, watching his foe carefully. The Shadow Ball came fast and struck, causing him to recoil, but still he snickered. Quickly he shot out a Confuse Ray towards his foes.

The Thunderpunch landed and the Noctowl cried out, falling to the ground. Yet... the Natu flew to hit side, chirping as if worried. Had it been a game of tag after all? The Natu pouted, leering up at the trainers warily. Who... who were they? The Noctowl slowly rose, very shaken, and also stared in silence.

The Golett shook his head at the first question; no, he wasn't mad. He never got mad. At the call that someone was in trouble, he blinked; he hadn't heard a scream or anything... but... "Gol." he said quickly, taking steps forward. Time to investigate!
