We join another thrilling adventure of G.G.G. as he ventures this horrifying new land of Era. When we left Our Hero, he took his first steps into the strange dock, the beginning of his Pokemon Adventure, Wharfenfair. Keeping a rather precarious-looking host of luggage along with him, Garcian hauls the load at his side. Beside himself in frustration, he finds himself defeated by the heavy load of clothing and other goods now sitting a fourth of a way to the end of the deck. He throws his hands behind his neck and sits on one of the bags, again looking along to the whole wharf. Deciding to simply take a rest and soak in the fresh Eran sun, he takes the three Pokeballs from his belt, inspecting each one. Each of them were marked with something to set one another apart. Garcian looked at the label of the first, that being, a ball that was light blue overall, with two white spots in the middle, likely being the one containing Edgeworth. He placed that one back on his belt, and inspected the next. The cover was a shiny, reflective black, two clashing daggers on its surface. He thought back for a moment, before realizing that his only bladed Pokemon had been Bellator. Finally, he inspected his third Ball.. There were no significant markings that particularly set this ball apart from the others. It seemed like a pretty regular Luxury Ball. Upon first look, in fact, it appears simply to be an empty Ball capable of capturing any Pokemon intended to ease up to a trainer. To sate his curiosity, he pressed the button on its surface. The ball jumped away from Garcian's hand, much to his shock, and actually released a Pokemon. It was a young little larval earwig-looking Pokemon. Lexus looked up at Garcian with a strange visage of both curiosity and knowing. She is aware that he is the trainer she is meant to protect and serve, and is curious to find out what sort of a trainer he is. All she had done was stand still, stepping slowly up to him on those puny, stubby legs of hers. Garcian gritted his teeth, staring the creature down. He appeared to be troubled and confused by her sudden appearance. Not only did he remember only asking for two Pokemon to accompany him, the Pokemon that just so happened to be smuggled along with them was -this- thing?! She radiated heat in his direction, not that it would be anything she had any particular control over. Not only that, but just LOOK at her. She was some sort of odd, disgusting.. bug thing. Garcian said nothing, and had nothing to think about to himself. Rather, the first of the two to say anything was Lexus herself. "Is something troubling you, Garcian?" He didn't jump back, nor did he panic. Dumbstruck, he could only internally question what the hell was going on. Did she talk? ..Did she know my name? He put his hands on his laps, widened eyes, staring down at her. "You can.. talk?" "Of course. If I am to assist you on this journey, I must be able to communicate with you properly." Garcian's eyes gradually narrowed as he realized what was most likely going on. "..Father put you up to this, didn't you? He smuggled you onto my possessions! He's doing this to SPITE me, isn't he? Give me this repugnant-looking bug thing..."The seemingly more mature of the two, the Larvesta, laughed to herself. Garcian seemed not to be amused at all, sighing. "I suppose if you're going to be forced onto me, I may as well keep you. What name did he give you?" "He called me Lexus, Garci." Nicknames. She's really giving me nicknames now? How much did Father even tell her about me?! Garcian had nothing to say, silently groaning as he simply stared down at her. Lexus moved closer up to Garcian, sitting down next to him in a sort of incredibly awkward silence. It would be inadvisable for anyone to move into the scene with all of this tension.

Cricket decided to explore Era near the ocean, and so the dark-haired trainer found herself nearing Wharfenfair. Atop her head stood Druid, her dear little Nintik. The tiny spidercicada appeared to be pleased with the sea air, though he kept shaking his wings as though the salt from the air was accumulating on them.
On her shoulder, or rather close to her shoulder, a big purple cat-like apparition floated along silently. He appeared to have a huge grin, as if he thought something was hilarious or he was demented. Indeed, he thought that the ocean was pretty and just couldn't seem to wipe the grin off of his Haunter face.
Trotting at her heels, an annoyed-looking Pikachu followed her trainer. The electric mouse just didn't know what to do anymore, with her trainer dragging her and the others all over the place.. and for what? To catch more of them? Why even bother when she barely trained the ones she caught? All she cares about any more is that stupid Nincada thing she's carrying on her head.. thought Pepper, twitching an ear in annoyance. She wasn't jealous so much as literally just annoyed with the affection her trainer was showing to the other little Pokemon.
And finally, curled around her neck like a collar and barely even noticeable as a Pokemon, was her dear purple Pikans, Vincent. He had flattened himself out and had his head, neck, and arms in Cricket's hair as he napped the day away.
The trainer and the four Pokemon she had brought out to enjoy the beautiful summer weather made their way to the docks. She thought she could see a mermaid way out there, but she disregarded it as a mermaid when she realized it had a real human ass after she spotted it leaping up and diving back down. With a shrug, she looked to the end of the dock, where she saw a forlorn-looking brown kid and a Larvesta. She fucking loved Bug-types and decided to investigate.
"Uh. Hi." she said awkwardly, raising a hand to wave. "You alright there, kid?"
Pepper rolled her eyes and sighed. Arceusdamn this trainer of hers..

Garcian turned his head to witness the oncoming Trainer and her bizarre motley crew of creatures. Lexus made herself comfortable on top of one of his suitcases, sitting next to her new trainer, also inspecting the others approaching. While Garcian wasn't very warm nor welcoming to the idea of such a repugnant thing sitting next to him, he knew he needed SOME protection from vandals, and, hell, it's not out of the question that the slightly pudgy-looking one approaching was some sort of pickpocket ripe for rifling into Garcian's pants.
His eyes shifted to several different directions to inspect each one of her catches. A Pikachu, a regular Pokemon he had been accustomed to seeing in his travels. For some bizarre reason he was unable to shake, they are very popular among trainers these days, especially the fledgling greenhorns. Floating on her shoulder, he could easily identify a Haunter, a literally ghastly apparition that he somehow found some charm in. Though it was most certainly miniscule, he was able to notice the strange spider.. cicada.. thing.
This lady must have been quite some yokel to have attracted such a strange, disgusting-looking creature, and even more of a simpleton to allow it to nest itself atop her head. He grants that there is little room for him to speak, seeing as a similarly odd creature is resting right next to him. Then, he looked to her neck, and noticed only some sort of gaudy-looking purple necklace. Again, her taste in fashion seemed to only support his theory of her being some sort of brutish native. One looking from a distance would be able to imply that he wasn't quite looking at her neck so much as a little bit lower, and hopefully this was something nobody else would be aware of.
As she approached, he could only hope to himself. Please don't say hello, please don't say hello, please don't say hello...
"Uh, hi. You alright there, kid?"
[/i] Damnit. "I'll have you know that I-" Before Garcian could enter with a strangely both polite AND rude quip, the Larvesta at his side decided to speak out and interrupt him. "am in need of some help." Garcian grumbled, looking down at his new Pokemon. "What is your problem?" She ignored him as she went on, practically doing the talking for her trainer. "Excuse him, he's just a little bit sore. He's just having a hard time warming up to this place, and I'm sure he would appreciate some help. Ah, where are my manners? I am Lexus, and he is-" "Garcian Garcia, thank you very much. I have just arrived at this.. place, and I'm absolutely in no need of help, thank you again." Lexus rolled her eyes, as her master seems to be making a poor first impression by acting as irritable as he seemed to be at first. "Would it be rude of me to ask your name, madame?"[/left][/blockquote]

"Ohh, you're so cuuute!" Cricket nearly squealed at the Larvesta. Look at her, with the fluff and the nubby legs and those gorgeous blue eyes..! "..Er.. yeah." She coughed.
"I'm Cricket~" she said, then looked at the Pokemon atop her head. "This is Druid.." Gesturing towards the Haunter with her shoulder, she added, "This is Ghenta.." And nodding towards the still very annoyed-looking Pikachu she said "And this is Pepper." Cricket herself had actually forgotten about the Pokemon curled around her neck with his face in her hair, and so he went un-introduced.
"Ah.. what's your name? And uhh.. what do you need help with? I've been all over the place, so I can probably help.." She trailed off, realizing that she was talking too much, and stood there with her mouth clamped shut awaiting a response from.. whoever.

Garcian had an internal twitch as she introduced herself, asking his name again. He distinctly remember only several seconds ago telling his name in reply, but he supposes that she must be either too uncouth or partially deaf to have heard him properly. Not only that, but he also didn't quite much care for how she reacted to his Pokemon. It's as though she almost totally diverted her attention from that moment until she realized that she left her manners in the pail she was likely born in. After a momentary groveling, he realized he could use this to his advantage. It seemed almost far too easy to brag about 'this new catch found deep in a rocky tunnel in Unova.' However, he supposed that he should probably re-introduce himself, for whatever reason she misheard him in the first place. As she introduced her Pokemon to him, he thought it would only be polite to take his out as she does so. When she finished introducing her Pokemon, he pressed the remaining buttons on the Balls on his belt. To greet her Pokemon, two others in his possession were released, one of them a Piplup with that prideful mindset, crossing his arms and having a rather self-assured look on his face, standing still. The one to his side was a shimmering Pawniard, rather unique with his coloration, immediately going into battle stance. Edgeworth stood still, looking on at the other Pokemon. He found an agreement with his Trainer about this lot. What a strange, diverse crew. If anyone's guilty of some sort of crime, it must be that Pikachu. She appears to be irritated, and if anything, that was clearly the image of a liar and a criminal, and to this respect, he stares at her warily. Bellator, on the other hand, seems to be holding his ground against the invaders. He doesn't trust them (though he doesn't usually trust much anyone) and stands ready for a brawl. "Well, again, I am Garcian -Garci- Garcia." He gestured to his Piplup, and his Bellator. "This is Edgeworth, and this is Bellator." With some reluctance, he pointed at his fiery.. bug thing. "This is, er-herm, Lexus." Lexus released a miniscule burst of controlled flame as she was taken note of. As Garcian indicated to her, she started to crawl onto his lap. Needless to say, he was coated in apprehension and bit his lip, his left eye twitching. She was probably getting comfortable as well, which is even worse. Trying to keep cool, he looked back up at Cricket. "Er-herm, moving on. I suppose I do require help. I must find the nearest suite to move this luggage to. If you assist me, I will reward you handsomely, with whatever amount of money you people even take around here."

Cricket watched the Pokemon appear out of their balls, appearing interested in the Piplup's cuteness, then saw the shimmer in the air as the shiny Pawniard was released. Ohhh, a shiny~! she thought, almost purring audibly. She stared at the Pokemon for a moment as they were introduced, then crouched down to greet them.
"Hi there!" she purred, smiling at the Pokemon. That Piplup was just so cute with the stern expression..
Pepper facepalmed quietly. For the love of- really, Cricket? Really? The Pikachu rolled her eyes and sighed, scampering forward to speak with the other Pokemon herself.
<"Sorry about her, she's a bit.. odd. She's mentally stable, but she sure doesn't act like it most of the time.."> She outstretched one yellow paw to the Piplup, smiling almost.. warmly. That was indeed strange for this particular Pikachu, she normally appeared emotionless or annoyed. <"I'm Pepper. Pleasure to meet you.. er.. Edgeworth, was it?"> Such a refined, lovely name... she thought, and if her cheeks weren't already red one might have seen her blush lightly.
Cricket was surprised that her Pokemon was being so friendly, but she shrugged it off and looked back to Garci.
"Suite..? Well, there might be some sort of hotel around here.. I'm not certain, really, I live in the Western Woods, so I usually stay there when I need a place to stay." She tilted her head slightly, scratching her face a little as she thought about it.
"Well, maybe closer to Escapade or Orion City. There could be hotels in one of those places.. do you have any preference as to which place you want to stay?"

Garcian's lips warp to the left somewhat as he watches her marvel over his Pokemon, no longer even paying attention to the Trainer before her but rather the Pokemon he laid out. To attempt not to stoop to her level, he resisted putting on an expression similar to that of her Pikachu, that being, placing his face in his palm. Rather, he just shrugged and allowed her to look at them, as though to insist the worth of his Pokemon over hers.
What is her problem? She just diverted everything to them. I suppose they ARE splendid enough to command such attention, but something seems terribly off. Dismissing it as mere interest, he turned to speak to his over-sized bug of a lifetime companion. "I'm not sure whether to believe that I will have a wonderful time here, or possibly an atrocious time in this place." "It's dependent on your perceptions, Garci. You'll see, and you'll decide." Garcian rolled his eyes as she passed on that nugget of knowledge, again diverting his attention again to his Pokemon.
Edgeworth continued to stand still, flipper-arms crossed, as Pepper approached him, offering her paw. Remaining still for a moment, he extended his flipper and shook it with her. What a manly, authoritative handshake. <Yes, I am Miles Edgeworth. The feeling is mutual, Ms. Pepper.> Granted that he had said that only to continue proper decorum and manners, she could see that in any perspective she wished. Bellator, to Edgeworth's side, seemed to be giving Pepper a wary glance.
"Don't try anything too forward, bub. I've got my eye on you, your little bug friend, and the ghost over there." It seemed Bellator was acting as some sort of bodyguard to Edgeworth, but at the same time, he could just be looking out to start a scrap via intimidation. His knives were sharpened and at the ready, but he knew not to try anything until they approached him with hostility first. Everyone was a target, everyone was in some ways a threat, and everyone was under his watchful eye.
As Cricket turned back to Garcian, he nodded as she looked to him. As he heard her, he mulled over a few things. The woods. For some reason, it doesn't quite surprise me that -she- hails from the woods, of all places. "I know neither of these cities, Miss, er-herm, Cricket, but I suppose the closer area would be more favorable."

"Yes, I suppose that makes the most sense." Cricket shrugged, risking one more glance at the hostile shiny Pawniard as she pulled her bag off of her back to look for her map. She stuck her hand in and dug around, frowning as her hand met no map. Annoyed, she looked into the bag, tilting it around so it would catch the light of the low evening sun and she could actually see the map if it was there. She kept feeling around, shoving things out of the way and occasionally taking things out and setting them down, before finally realizing that it was in a side pocket the whole time! Rolling her eyes at her own silliness, she replaced everything she had taken out of her bag and closed it, then unzipped the side pocket and took out a piece of dark-colored paper.
And of course, after all that, the WIND had to be an asshole. As suddenly as she had found the map, it was in the bay, soaking up water and becoming useless as she looked on in shocked awe.
"...Well then." Cricket stood up, putting her bag back on her back and staring down at the map in the water as it began its descent into the depths of Wharfenfair's dark waters. Vincent stirred a little from around her neck, but it was only movement in his sleep and he didn't move that much.
"Um. I. I don't know how to get anywhere now. Sorry." Cricket just looked confused that she no longer had a map. She took out two Pokeballs and returned her Haunter and Nintik, then took out a third and tapped Vincent with it. A fourth Pokeball was removed from her pocket and tossed, and out came a gorgeous Ninetales, who actually seemed surprised to be out.
"Nine?" The fox Pokemon looked around, apparently expecting to have been thrown into battle or something of that nature. Cricket just wanted the Pokemon out since she hadn't really gotten to interact with her and didn't feel all that thrilled now that her map was gone. Cricket smiled.
"I don't know why I decided to bring you out but I just lost my map in the water so I just.." The trainer trailed off, looking slightly forlorn, but the Ninetales seemed to understand and she pushed her nose against Cricket's hand and made a little churring noise, a reassuring sound that almost sounded like a purr. Cricket smiled and laid her hand on the Pokemon's head, scratching lightly.
She glanced out at the water one last time, probably to say goodbye to her map, and HOLY FUCK IS THAT A MERMAID WHAT.
The trainer rushed to the edge of the dock, her Ninetales following in alarm in fear that something was wrong. Unfortunately, this rush to the edge of the dock caused Cricket to trip and almost fall IN to the water, but she was saved by the fact that she instead sent almost all of Garci's bags careening into the water instead. The Ninetales skidding to a halt beside her trainer managed to get the rest of them thrown into the water.
The 'mermaid', and Garci's bags, disappeared into the depths.

Garcian remained ever the unaware, as he watched the woman before him fumble around with her pockets. Assuming she was pulling out a brochure, navigator, anything that could help them, he put on a facial expression that didn't seem to expect a terrible lot from the person before him. 'She seems a tight bit dense.' The boy looked at the little knick-knacks she pulled from her pocket as she did, and started to pay attention again when she revealed her map. Maybe now she could actually be of assistance!
When the FORCES OF ARCEUS bent against her will, he even watched as the map flew away in the breeze. Such a loss entertained him somewhat, an entertainment he was entirely capable of keeping to himself. "Do not worry about it. I am sure there is a guide or something similar we could find if we searched well enough." As she returned her Pokemon, he shrugged, deciding that he may as well himself. Pulling out the two specially marked Pokeballs made to contain his Pawniard and Piplup, they were withdrawn back in flashes of red light. Lexus remained, and attempted to catch the escaping map, to no avail. Her legs were too stubby, her hops too insufficient.
Noticing the fox, as well as fellow Fire type, she waved one of her stubby legs at her. <Hello there,> she cordially chimed. Returning to Garci, (who, by the way, was totally still sitting on his luggage), she smiled at the little display of affection between her and her trainer. Things almost fell dead silent, as Garci was about to open his mouth to break it. Fearfully rearing backwards when she started to rush towards the end of the dock to see the alleged mermaid, he turned his head to try and get a look at it.
This was, of course, until he got pushed forward by this massive idiot and was nearly trampled on, his bags being pushed into the water. It didn't help that her dopey little fox companion was coming to her side. The Ninetales managed to nudge into his most important of his possessions - his suitcase, which, aside from containing his money, clothes, and bath necessities, something too near and dear to him to lose. It slid forward and leaned down to the edge of the dock.
Not wishing to be helpless in such a situation, he got up and desperately ran towards the case, as it leaned in the direction of the water and fell. The boy nearly jumped right over the edge and into the horrible depths, as he miraculously grabbed his baggage by the handle. In the heat of the moment, he didn't realize how seething his anger was towards this horrible, horrible delinquent who nearly caused him to lose everything. Gritting his teeth, he attempted to regain balance.
Lexus grabbed him by the shoe, and somehow pulled him onto the surface of the pier. Nevermind the impossibility of the moment, Garci was now slightly scuffed up and a bit wet. Brushing his Larvesta aside with the back of his arm, he growled. "Don't touch me!" She fell back, and looked up at her new Trainer, who clearly looked more than a little ticked off. Putting his briefcase at the side, he got up slowly and stepped toward the monster who could have cut him off from one of his most valued things. ..By monster, of course, he means the monster standing on two legs. He could punch her right now if he wanted to, but the ideas of chivalry and civility prevented him. Plus, he knows the sorts of bonds Ninetales have with their trainers. It's not a good idea to mess with one.
"You. YOU. YOU..." He was snarling out his words, as his face twisted into an expression, one of pure frustration and hate.
