DRAKE SHADDIX Rex flinched when he was hit by the faint attack, and fired back with a flamethrower attack. Hmm the small fire type seemed to like to use that move a lot. It seemed he would simply use that move over and over again unless his trainer order him other wise.

The fire hit the Substitute and inevitably broke it. The Kecleon wa shit by a bit of the flames in the process and turned into a full fire type due to the beings of Kecleon. Shaking his head, he formed another Faint Attack and charged forwards rather quickly in retaliation of sorts. This small fire creature appeared to be putting up more of a fight than the Kecleon had intended for. Maybe just... No he'd stay for now at least......

DRAKE SHADDIX
Rex flinched once again from pain as the attack hit him. He shivered as he started to feel the pain from taking all these attacks. He was a bit surprised that at his younger age he was able to keep going, was her perhaps getting stronger? A hopeful thought, that perhaps he was growing past his youth.
"Rex use rollout." The command from Drake brought Rex back to the battle as he gave a nod and did as he was told.

The ground attack hit the Kecleon, and his skin changed, yet he took super effective damage due to the previous type match up. Finally falling and fainting, the Kecleon breathed in and then breathed out falling out of consciousness in that moment.

DRAKE SHADDIX
Rex jumped a bit when the Kecleon fell, surprised that he won the battle. The shiny pokemon looked at his trainer making sure that he was right, and when Drake gave him a nod he knew that he was.
Drake smiled a bit, glad that Rex had been able to hold his own. "We should keep going." He would leave the Kecleon, seeing as that wasn't the type of pokemon was after right now.

A Spinarak could be seen farther off more or less jumping around rather irritated as he looked up a tree. In the tree, another Spinarak was looking down rather dryly. Far to the left of this rather odd scene, a Mienfoo carrying quite a few logs on his back could be seen walking through the area followed rather closely by a Darumaka for one reason or another.

DRAKE SHADDIX
Drake blinked as he looked at the pokemon around him, they were a bit interesting but nothing more. He was a bit more picky in the pokemon he had in his team, and didn't go after everything he saw. He smirked to himself sometimes that was annoying as hell, but it was just who he was. Once again he picked to pass up these pokemon and see what else the forest had to offer.

Suddenly four Voltorb came falling down in front of Drake, and in another second, they all used Self-Destruct at once causing one massive explosion. ; oh crap.....

DRAKE SHADDIX
The four Voltorb falling down took Drake by surprise and there was very little he could do to protect himself. He knew that in the split seconds he had to come had thrown out one of his pokemon to protect him like a shield, but he wouldn't do that. He refused to simple let one of his team members out only to be hurt. Those thoughts barley raced through his head before the pokemon used self-Destruct and blew him and Rex back. His Cyndaquil was knocked out by the blast, and lay on the ground out cold. Drake was hurt, and covered in ash from the explosion. He could feel his body aching with pain, and when he saw Rex on the ground he quickly recalled him.
The first thing he wanted to know was what was with the sudden attack on him? He knew many pokemon in this forest weren't the nicest ones around, but he would have never thought they would attack like that. The second thought that went racing through his head, was how bad was he hurt? He knew that he had burns from the attack, but was anything broken? Slowly he started to stand up, glad that his bones seemed to be fine, but the pain from the burns was intense. Taking it slow he opened up North's pokeball and let the dragon out. "North, go see if you can find some pokemon or person who knows what to do about burns." It was a long shot sending him out into the forest, but Drake had to. It would be nice to get these burns looked at, and this was the only way he could so it was worth the risk.

It was quiet in the area then. About half a mile off, a branch crackled, yet it was doubtful that a human with normal sense would have been able to detect this. However, maybe a pokemon?

DRAKE SHADDIX
North had left his hurt trainer behind him as he looked around the forest trying to find someone to help. He didn't like leaving Drake behind like that but he knew he had the rest of his team to help him. North was looking all around as the small dragon kept his pace fast. After looking for a bit he heard a branch crack though it was rather faint. Still it was better then nothing and he head off towards the sound.

What appeared as a woman with orange hair could be seen hunched over and picking at winter leaves. She wore a tight gray and white kimono, and her hair was tied back rather sharply in a bun on her head. Her features were rather young, and she could only have been in her teens. Another cracking sound could be heard as she keeled down a bit more picking at them. She hadn't noticed North just yet and was too busy at the moment to care.

DRAKE SHADDIX
North started to slow down when he got closer to the noise and started to look around. After a quick scan he saw a person kneeling down on the ground. He jumped a bit glad to have finally found someone. Now that was the easy part, that hard part would to try and get her to understand what he was saying. Walking up to her, he made a few noises trying to get her attention as best he could.

The woman turned around upon hearing the sound and stared for a moment at the dragon. "Hm?" she asked for a few seconds as her eyes moved on the form of the dragon. "Hello, little dragon," she said rather slowly before picking at another herb and setting it in the basket.

DRAKE SHADDIX
North looked at her basket seeing her set some kind of leaf down into it. Part of him was tempted to just grab the basket and run, but he knew that Drake wouldn't want him to do that. The fact that the lady was nice was a good thing, but it was still going to be hard to talk unless she understood pokemon. Clawing at the ground he drew some uneven circles in the dirt and drew a few things that looked kind of like a person. After he was done with his poor drawing he stopped on it a little bit and then looked at her.

The orange haired woman stared at the drawing in the snow and was quiet for a moment. After a few seconds, she slowly picked up the back and stood up fully. "A trainer?" she asked rater calmly. It seemed she was at least mildly perceptive in such things....maybe... who really knew..... In the back of her mind, she wondered if the person the pokemon was alluding to was of the village or not... She knew very well the rules about outsiders, yet for now, she'd put them to the back of her mind.

DRAKE SHADDIX
North looked at the lady and quickly nodded when she asked if it was a trainer. North didn't know if this lady lived in this forest or if she was a passing trainer as well. Either way if she could help that would be great.

The orange haired woman slowly nodded at this and then seemed to hold the basket in front of herself. "Something wrong then?" she asked after a moment preparing to follow the small dragon if he indeed answered yes.

DRAKE SHADDIX
North grinned a bit to himself, he once again gave her a nod of his head. In his mind he was wondering if Drake was worse then when he left him or not. He took a few steps back as he looked at the lady, and started to back track to where Drake was. Though he kept his pace slower to allow her to keep up.

The orange haired woman followed the small dragon without much sound except for the small quiet clicks of her heels on the snow. Despite how she had been, she walked rather fast and with a perfectly fluid motion as though she had been used to walking in the forest and knew it well enough. They continued to walk for a bit until they came closer towards Drake.
