Upon finally coming to the gate, Yue stopped and landed before returning Faya rather quickly. Whether this was just habitual or possibly because of the incident previous to them returning home, Yue would never tell, yet he stopped a moment and smiled back at Kali easily before turning and opening the gate holding it open for Kali just before he stepped over towards the lab door and opened that after a brief pause as well. Upon entering, Yue stopped as one red eye circled around the area for a brief moment before he looked back again. "This way~" he chimed easily before heading off down a hallway. Walking down the hallway for a minute or two, he finally stopped upon coming to a room door. Though he had been looking, Yue hadn't caught sight of Happy which he assumed meant that she had gotten everything ready. Reaching forwards to the door, he stopped a moment and looked sideways. "Ready?" he asked with a light tone. [/scrolly]

Her thoughts kept racing and her heart occasionally felt like it would just leap out of her chest. She was so giddy at each new fantasy that came to mind regarding what he could have gotten or done or set up that she was actually getting outright lightheaded. ...That or it was the delirium from the rather nasty wound Faya had given her as they were leaving the capital. By this time, the poor shirt she'd tied around her arm was both soaked nearly through and all but forgotten. Well, either way she could hardly see straight, let alone concentrate on anything else. In this regard, it was pretty fortunate that she'd had Kjaer so long now, as if she'd had to actually pay attention in flight the results may not have been pleasant at all. They were finally here, though, and at last she'd see! Just beyond that gate! And.. beyond that door! And.. one or more other doors inside and GOD I CAN'T TAKE THIS, came the mental cry of anguish, panic evident in her choice of interjection. At least her lovely Leon did hold the gate and door, which always made her feel special (particularly when she cared to compare the way he'd beat down most anything else in his way with a stick). At this particular moment, though, her thoughts were too preoccupied by daydreams- mostly extremely over the top. She could see herself diving into a pool filled with Shiny Pokemon and sparkly jewelry... Or a room filled to the brim with all manner and variations of rats and Rat Pokemon, purebred and hybrid alike... Perhaps some ridiculously rare and powerful Pokemon hunted down especially for her<3 Or...... Not for the first time that afternoon, the image of a certain dream she'd once (all right so in all variations upon it about sixty-seven times) had came to mind, both exciting and relaxing her as her face burned. Never mind they'd already had a very adamant discussion on that subject today. \o/ MAYBE IT WAS TO THROW HER OFF-GUARD RIGHT? ...Maybe? Eh probably not but it didn't hurt to dream. Kali suddenly realized Leon had stopped about half an inch before running him right over, jumping back a bit before laughing nervously. At his question, she took a deep breath, then faltered as for the first time the concern suddenly hit that she may not like this surprise. She.. wasn't expecting to walk into a room filled with paperwork as a practical joke or anything by any means, but... perhaps something he found better than she did? Sweet Arceus what if she'd gotten so excited for nothing? And she definitely didn't want to hurt his-- Kali physically shook off the thought rather violently before huffing a heavy sigh. It didn't matter what he'd planned. It was the fact he planned it in the first place that she loved, and the actual details were just bonus points. "Yeah.." she hummed softly, giving him a small nod. A purple Audino swayed a little from side to side watching as a Shiny Bagon and Shiny Charmander eyed one another. A Shiny Altaria was humming quietly to herself to one side while a Shiny Blitzle trotted around a short few distances here and there. A Shiny Piplup was doing her best to control herself at that particular moment but was thinking about sniping the Shiny Charmander. A Shiny Vaporeon seemed to be sitting rather still watching as a shiny Typhlosion moved about slowly. A Shiny Ponyta was trying her best to hide in the corner but could clearly be seen. A Shiny Smeargle had given in to his temptations and was painting on the wall off to one side while a rather irritated looking shiny Furret was eying everyone and everything. A quiet Shiny Absol was wandering around slowly. "I could have left them all in their balls i guess... but I thought it'd reduce the effect," the white haired man hummed after a moment. Off almost hidden to one side, Happy was watching this and smiling quietly to herself. This was good! Right? Right n.n. [/scrolly]

Her mouth hung limp, and any attempts at that vicious rumor known as 'breathing' were utterly in vain. Never mind that this was technically a watered down version of a fantasy she'd been enjoying two minutes before- this was two. full. parties. of Shiny Pokemon right in front of her. Several of these Pokemon she'd even seen before but... but they were HERS now and just-- it-- she--!!! Suddenly her lungs began working again, though improperly, and she still couldn't seem to manage to fully inhale. Again this felt like forever, though in reality some nine or ten seconds may have passed since the door was opened (Leon's words in this time absolutely lost to her). Then, at long last, the overwhelming reality finally overtook her, and Kali suddenly fainted from overexposure to sheer awesomeness. Also blood loss may have contributed. Whichever. Lowering Kali slowly to meet the ground softer, Leon found an interesting smile on his face despite the reaction that she had fainted. He'd made her faint ... out of joy hopefully... Hopefully not out of fear like what had happened when Hatter had pulled that stunt with the gun. Looking towards the shiny pokemon in the room that looked back at him, Yue slowly grinned and simply sat down waiting for Kali to wake back up again. "Hey...." he smiled shaking her slightly before waiting and going on to repeat this until Kali did wake up. [/scrolly]

"What just--" She winced as pain cut her off. Trying to look around only made her realize she was incredibly dizzy, so she just brought a hand to hold her suddenly throbbing head and settled more into Leon's arms. Her own arm was now a bit bloody, the soaked makeshift bandage having come loose some time during this, though she didn't actually notice at the moment. Fortunately, the bleeding had all but stopped, but the dragon's claws had more than just sort-of-scratched, and the wound did still ooze a little. After forcing a few slow, deep breaths, Kali had managed to calm down a little and think a bit clearer. Thoughts returning to her present, a light laugh finally escaped her as she grinned up at her master and lover. However, as he was about to try and answer, the laugh hit his ears, and he blinked a moment before grinning a bit more than before. Hm? Amazing? ".......Love you too," he replied before leaning a bit to hug Kali gently, abet still a bit awkwardly given she was laying down. However, after said hug, Yue sighed a little allowing his smile to fall a little. "You should probably lay down...." he explained by raising one finger and then pointing it at Kali's arm. "Fucking hell, when did that happen..." She huffed a heavy sigh of defeat then, and reluctantly nodded, wincing a bit at the end when the action seemed to provoke the spinning feeling again. However, when the question was posed on where Happy was, Yue directed his line of sight off to where the Blissy was hidden. Ah, right, a nurse pokemon. "Happy, dear, come out," was the call.Though she probably would have jumped and run over right when Kali had fainted, Happy had actually been caught between doing this and staying hidden as had been instructed long beforehand. However, at her name being mentioned, the large pink egg-pokemon slid out from where she was hiding. "See?" was the somewhat nervous answer as her eyes then darted between Yue and Kali. However, in another second, nursing instincts took over, and she came waddling over pulling out an egg from her pouch and holding it out to Kali. "See!" she spoke again gesturing to the egg. For a good ten seconds she lay just staring up at the egg, question marks practically hovering around her head. A few confused blinks, and she glanced to Happy, then back to the egg, and back to Happy, and... "What?" ... She'd heard of the family giving away their eggs to injured people but.. that was referring to the wilderness, usually, she thought, so wasn't that like.. as sustenance? Or.. actually she couldn't recall if she had actually directly read anything about people eating the eggs or if that was just implied. Was she... supposed to hold it or...? "See!" she smiled lightly. Yue sweat dropped as well and turned his head to one side though retaining his smile. "Happy, I think bandages would be better?" he offered. For a brief moment a slightly unsure look came to Happy. Had she done something wrong? But..but..but... "Bliss...see...?" she mumbled a little. Yue sighed a little but kept his smile. "Would you mind getting them, Happy?" he asked. And just like that, Happy suddenly perked up again sliding the egg back in her pouch. Oh! Yes she could do that! Quickly rushing off (as best she could given her style of walking), and in a short minute or so, she'd come back again with a full medical kit beaming. Taking said kit, Yue opened it and pulled out some disinfectant and better bandages. Carefully sliding off the previous bandages, Yue assessed what there actually was before looking back at Kali's face. "It's going to sing but we need to clean this out, hm?" he asked lightly beforetwisting the disinfection bottle between two fingers. Spraying the disinfectant, Yue kept a rather fluid procedural format through it all. After that, he wrapped a new set of bandages if a bit tighter than the ones used before and stopped to pull a lollipop from somewhere in the medical kit (ah.. was that a stash there in that one compartment?). "As thanks for being a good patient," he smirked a little holding it out to Kali. At Yue's motion, Happy suddenly snapped back again and produced the egg once more beaming. "See!" [/scrolly]

That then just led to picturing him in a nurse's hat and dress, and by the time Happy had returned and Leon had delved into it, it was all the slightly delirious girl could do to fight back her giggles. As such, she didn't much notice when he warned her about the disinfectant stinging, and when it was applied she gave a muffled scream through gritted teeth and may have reflexively thrashed slightly before giving her master a look that said 'I'm going to kill you'. It might have been called a death glare, but it was too wide-eyed and borderline mad for even that. Had he been anyone else, an angry slew of curses may have followed, but as it was she bit her tongue. She slowly calmed down as he wrapped her wound proplerly, and already she felt a bit better. It seemed makeshift bandages really weren't as good as actual real ones made for being them. Who would've guessed? Heh.. On that note, maybe this was a sign she should start carrying some kind of first aid supplies with her beyond a few small bandaids that may or may not still be lingering around in the nether regions of her backpack... but she probably wouldn't. Ah well. The lollipop made her grin when he offered, and though normally she wouldn't have been interested... "Come to think of it..." She pushed herself back up into a sitting position, placing a hand to her head to try to still the minor dizziness that flooded her as she did. "I could probably use something for a bit of ener-...." She found herself then staring silently at Happy's beaming face. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Kali blinked. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . "...Nnno Happy. Really. You can keep it." Forcing an awkward smile, she quickly turned back to Leon to finish her original thought. "But yeah, something for energy. ... Maybe.." Her smile became a bit more legitimate as she prodded, "Some cake might not be so bad after all?" After she finished spazzing about all these shinies in a moment. If he had it covered then all was well \o/ Setting the egg back in her pouch, she threw her arms up into the air. "See Bliss!" she cried out simply glad Kali was alright. Yue simply half smiled and turned his head to one side. "Mmm cake and ice cream and all types of sweets," he joked a little, but honestly his mind was just going over the list of possible candidates for diabetes that he should be avoiding bu wasn't going to any times soon, of course. "If you had told me your exact birthday, I could have tried my hand at cooking," he half smirked. This actually brought a very worried expression to Happy's face, and she had to fight herself from saying something out of nervousness. [/scrolly]

"I hate when you cook," she told him bluntly. Forcing a grin in the same vain, she clarified: "You're not supposed to be better than me at things like that." She'd never think to refer to it as something so base as 'woman's work', but there were just certain things a wife was expected to be able to do well, and she'd been doing her best to act like his long before it was officially decided that it would become a real thing. Fighting off her dizziness as best she could, she used him as a prop to help her stand and then waited for him to do the same. Gazing fondly over the room once again, a slow smile she could not fight returned to her face. Distracted, she suddenly asked, "Where did you put all their PokeBalls anyway?" However, at her explanation, he half smirked. "But it's your birthday, you know," he hummed bringing up a finger and waggling it in front of Kali. At being used as a stand, he simply wrapped one arm around her keeping both of them up in the process. "Happy?" was the response to the question. The Blissey quite literally jumped (if only a short inch or so upwards) before turning around and hustling off behind a few of the pokemon. Upon picking up a bag, she quickly waddled back over and held it out smiling. "See!" Yue smiled and nodded before looking towards Kali. "Right there~" he answered back lightly. [/scrolly]

They'd need to officially transfer these guys to her trainerID later if Leon hadn't found a way to do so without her, else they'd end up potentially as unruly as Siavush, but that could wait. She doubted she'd use them so much as just bask in their glow and maybe breed them some anyway. One by one, she took each PokeBall- or whatever sort of Ball- and held it up to the dozen shinies, seeing which one it recalled, and squealing with glee a little each time no matter which it was. Once the last was back in its Ball, there was a slight delay as Kali simply grinned down at it, then finally squealed louder than she had yet and hugged it and the bag close. Quickly putting away the Ball and closing up the bag, she then squeaked a bit again and latched onto Yue. "Thank you SO much<3 I loooove yoooouuuuuuuu<3<3<3" What yes of course it was her seventeenth birthday and not her fifth, what would ever make you think otherwise? An easy smile rested on Yue's face, and though he wasn't generally one to admit such things, he was pleased with her reaction. Well that had certainly made it worthwhile~ If not anything else, of course. ".....Love you too," he hummed back gently. "Happy birthday." Happy beamed and threw her arms up in the air. Victory! "SEEEEEE!" was the call from the Blissey, and after this action had been preformed, she simply stood there smiling giddy at the tow. Her work here was done~ ......F-for now! Yes... She was still needed! Yep! Always~! Right? Mommy would always need her-... right? Yes ;3; Yes of course.... [/scrolly]
