Searching the Red Mesa for Pokemon never really caught her interest. But this wasn't for her; for once in her life, Jade Summers was going out of her way for someone else. Flying on the back of her Charizard, those deep blue eyes scanned the area as her mind kept going to him for some reason. She knew he loved Dragon types, and that was what she wanted to get him; to surprise him on their fast-approaching second date. Yes, second date. As if Jade Summers on an actual date wasn't odd enough. And the poor woman had no idea why she was so obsessive over him--wait...he was tall, sweet, such a gentleman, and so good looking... Though the woman would never admit it, she'd fallen head over heels. And now, she was going to catch him a dragon. [/scrolly]

For the most part things seemed pretty calm, there was a Spearow nearby flying in the air lazily and to the right there was a Hydreigon relaxing in the sunlight. A little further ahead there was a Dunsparce just ... sitting there ... was she asleep? Not too far away from the Dunsparce was a Melanistic Pidgeotto who seemed to be rather bored for whatever reason.

Jade climbed off of his back, and looked from the Hydreigon to the Melanistic Pidgeotto, wondering which one to go for. Hydreigon was a Dragon, but something about the black bird... Well, she decided since she was here, she didn't have to get just Miggy's present, right? The woman calmly approached the Pidgeotto, while Zander kept an eye on the Dragon, just in case.. [/scrolly]

The Hydreigon paid little heed to the Charizard that had landed, as long as he didn't bother her they would be just fine ... .

Seeing the woman approach, the Pidgeotto studied her warily, wondering what a human was doing here to begin with.

"It's okay, I'm not going to hurt you." Meanwhile, Zander carefully approached the Hydreigon. He loved his trainer, but it was times like this he had to wonder what she was up to. [/scrolly]

The Pidgeotto watched as the human approached and brought out some food. Well ... it at least seemed like the human was nice ... but then again, the Pidgeotto wasn't one to trust easily, especially not humans. Sniffing the food cautiously, the Pidgeotto took some of the offered food, nodding her thanks to Jade. She still wasn't quite sure what to make of this human but then again, why would a human offer food if they weren't nice ... perhaps it was a trap?

The Hydreigon opened an eye as Zander approached and let out a low, warning growl. She didn't want to be disturbed right now, least of all by a male ... last time she had met a male it hadn't turned out so well, and she was still nursing her wounds from the last battle.

"That's a pretty girl," she cooed softly. Meanwhile, Zander wasn't having the same luck. He paused when she growled. <I don't want to hurt you,> he reassured. [/scrolly]

The Pidgeotto was a little wary when Jade touched her at first, but when it became clear that she meant no harm, the Pidgeotto relaxed and leaned into Jade's hand, 'purring' contentedly. Maybe humans ... weren't so bad after all ... .

The Hydreigon eyed Zander, not sure if she believed him or not but made no move to attack. After a moment, the Hydreigon seemed to relax and closed her eyes, shuddering slightly. If one looked closer at the Hydreigon, she appeared to be in bad shape as if she had gotten in a fight or something.

"That's a good girl. Such a sweetheart," she complimented. Meanwhile, Zander noticed the Hydreigon was hurt, and blinked, stepping forward. <You're hurt...> he murmured softly. Slowly, he continued to approach the dragon. [/scrolly]

The Pidgeotto 'purred' loving the attention she was getting. As far as she was concerned those stories of humans always wanting one thing were false ... or at least this one was different. After all how could someone be so kind if they were supposed to be so mean anyway.

The Hydreigon growled when Zander came closer. She wasn't about to trust anyone anytime soon especially not after what had happened the last time she had let someone get close to her.

I want to help you...I don't even like fighting...> Jade continued to stroke the Pidgeotto, then she heard the growl and Zander's 'speech.' She looked over at her Charizard, looking concerned. "Zander? Everything okay, Hun?" The Charizard shook his head, and she made her way over, motioning for the Pidgeotto to follow if it wanted. [/scrolly]

The Pidgeotto wasn't terribly happy that the woman had stopped petting her but then again, perhaps if she followed she'd get more pets. Besides, this human was nice~ and maybe there was a good reason she was leaving ... yes, that had to be it. Following Jade to where the big Charizard was, the Pidgeotto brushed up against the woman, trying to make it clear that she wanted to be paid attention to.

The Hydreigon calmed slightly when Zander backed away but even still, she remained wary, especially when the woman and the Pidgeotto approached her. True she hurt but there was no way that she would let anybody hurt her again ... not anytime soon at any rate. So set was the Hydreigon in this mindset that she hardly heard what Zander had to say and paid the Charizard little heed ... as long as he stayed away everything would be fine.

Fishing into her purse, she pulled out some more food, giving a little to the Pidgeotto, before showing the Hydreigon the rest of what she had. Carefully, she approached, being very wary of the dragon. At the slightest problem, she'd back up. If she was attacked, she knew Zander would be there. If all else failed, she could put it to sleep and check the wounds then... [/scrolly]

The Pidgeotto 'purred' when Jade pet her some more and gladly ate the food but remained where she was even as the woman walked towards the Hydreigon. She wasn't about to go near a dragon, especially one that seemed to be in such a foul mood.

The Hydreigon eyed the woman as she approached but was either too tired to move or it simply hurt too much to even attempt such a thing. Besides ,,, the human was clearly female ... and that didn't seem quite as intimidating for whatever reason but the food did look good and if the Pidgeotto was all right with the human ... perhaps she would be all right as well.

"It's okay, Baby..." she cooed, reaching out gently. Meanwhile, Zander stood on guard, just in case. [/scrolly]

The Pidgeotto was certainly non too pleased at being left behind but neither was she going to just up and leave right away. Besides, this human gave out food and couldn't be all that bad ... that and she wanted to make sure that the Hydreigon didn't harm her ... yeah that was it. It had absolutely nothing to do with the fact that the woman had given her pets and love and- ... oh what did it matter.

The Hydreigon sniffed the food hesitantly before taking it from the woman. It ... tasted good ... still, the Hydreigon wasn't about to trust the woman so easily ... she had a Charizard with her after all and well-. Just then Jade's hand touched her nose causing the Hydreigon to let out a startled snort and almost immediately back away before she realized that hadn't been a good idea. .......... OK yeah it had been a very stupid idea considering now she hurt even moreso than before and the Hydreigon had nobody to blame but herself ... stupid ... .

"It's okay," she whispered to the large dragon. "Let me see. I want to help," she continued whispering as she tried yet again to see what was wrong with her. Zander kept his distance, but couldn't keep his curiosity down any longer. <What happened?> [/scrolly]

The Pidgeotto ruffled her feathers when she saw the Hydreigon pull back. Well now, this was just utter foolishness wasn't it. And no she couldn't possibly be jealous that the woman was paying attention to the dragon instead of her ... OK maybe she was just a little.

The Hydreigon studied the woman for a moment before finally relaxing enough to let her see what had happened. There were several rather deep looking wounds on the Hydreigon's body and it appeared that one of her wings was bent at an odd angle keeping her grounded as a result. It appeared as if the Hydreigon had been in a fight recently and lost ... badly. Hearing Zander ask what happened, the Hydreigon glared at the Charizard ... like she was really going to tell a male what had happened. For all the Hydreigon knew this concern written on Zander's face could be just a ploy to get her to let her guard down ... there was no way she was going to let that happen again.

"You poor thing..." she murmured. "I just wish I knew what did this to you..." The woman thought a moment; there was really nothing she could do here...But if she could get it to come with her, then she could take her where the Pokemon could get help... [/scrolly]

The Pidgeotto shifted slightly, wondering if she should even speak up. She'd seen the whole thing of course and couldn't blame the Hydreigon for being so defensive but- ... . Ah whatever, the Hydreigon could hate her later~,"She was attacked by another Hydreigon who teamed up with a Flygon and ... a bunch of other Pokemon, I don't remember all of what happened but from all the shouting I think it's safe to say that they were pretty angry no?"the Pidgeotto explained in perfect English. Yes she could speak English, was it a big deal to her ... not really~, as long as she still got pets and love~.

The Hydreigon flinched when the Pidgeotto explained what had happened and more or less growled a confirmation. That wasn't all of what happened per say but that was the gist of what had happened at least.
