Alright. Xavier was getting annoyed. Protect was just a silly move, but to have it manage to block two consecutive attacks? Ugh. Two could play at this game. "Wish, Protect. Lady, Thunderfang once more. Ri..." He paused, wincing as the Chikorita took the blow. "Flash in his eyes."

Wish nodded and threw his own Protect up, while Lady furiously charged Milly once more with her fangs bared, and Ri staggered up and raised her leaflet, emitting the bright Flash effect unto Nyx.

Well ... that was one way to avoid an attack that didn't miss she supposed ... . This whole battle was starting to get interesting ... and considering all of her Pokemon save Minny hadn't battled before, was making Carly think rather hard about what to do next. Perhaps ... Rina could- ... yes that might work ... if nothing else it would certainly be unique. "Rina fly around Minny and use Powder Snow while spinning! Minny, use Mud Slap but direct it at the snow! Nyx, listen for Ri and use Leech Life!"Carly ordered, hoping that the idea would work ... if it didn't then Minny would end up getting hurt but ... that was a chance that she would have to take. At least ice moves weren't very effective on water types ... for that Carly was grateful but this was something she hadn't practiced with Minny ... Rina on the other hand knew the technique well if Minny could stay calm and still enough everything would be just fine ... or at least Carly hoped so. Rina giggled with delight and proceeded to fly around Minny, spinning just as she had been doing before with the Thunder. As soon as the Castform had gained enough speed, she used Powder Snow, thus effectively erecting a shield of snowballs around Minny. No doubt anyone that would attempt to get near the Milotic at this point would get plummeted by snowballs until Rina stopped using the move. Minny upon being surrounded by snowballs, hesitated a moment ... she .... she had not expected such a thing but ... she trusted Carly. Her Carly wouldn't hurt her after all ... shaking her head, the Milotic used Mud Slap at the wall of snowballs surrounding her and watched in amazement as the white snowballs turned brown as the Mud Slap covered them. It ... it was beautiful in it's own way and for a moment the Milotic found herself quite distracted by the sight before shifting her gaze once more to her opponent, smiling victoriously at Lady. She would most certainly love to see the Arbok get through this. Nyx had instinctively flown backwards when she had been blinded by the Flash but calmed soon enough when she heard Carly's voice. Hovering in one spot for a moment, the Zubat screeched a few times, listening intently to see if she could locate the Chikorita's position. When Nyx thought she had a good idea where Ri was, the Zubat used Leech Life, hoping that she was correct.[/scrolly]
