Kurtis watched as Nero called out his Steelix, soon found him self blushing slightly with a shocked expression. The Steelix had just called him gorgeous, and he had no idea what to think about that.... It was...Odd to say the lest. But the Pokemon dug a cave like hole into a hill side. When Nero returned it and asked if that would work Kurtis nodded " Yes, I think it will!" Kurtis said and then he started to run over to the new made cave, When he got to it he turned and waited for Nero. When Nero was safe inside Kurtis went in also. Kurtis then walked back as far as he could and stood next to the wall. Not really wanting to sit, for he had hos sword with him and he did not want Nero to see it. With him standing he had a better chance at hiding it. "Semeil is a good Pokemon, and strong to to make a cave like this. You have done a good job raising it." Kurtis said complementing the steel type Pokemon, and Nero. [/scrolly]

The Steelix did these things all the time, and the only reason that he got away with it was because of his large and intimidating stature. With the conformation that it would work, Nero nodded her head a bit and then started into the hole rather calmly despite all that was on her mind at the moment. Probably more on her own will than just to keep the commonplace, Nero remained standing at the back of the cave with brown eyes fixed outwards then. At the words on her pokemon, Nero's head turned back towards the red haired man. Nodding slightly, Nero allowed a subtle smile come to her face. She was proud of her pokemon when it came down to it...."I found him as an Onix down south, and he ended up following me rather than us battling," she explained. "I prefer to raise mostly psychic and steel types, so I evolved him as soon as I could get the money to buy a metal coat...." she nodded slowly at her own words. [/scrolly]

Kurtis then found him self nodding when Nero said he mostly raises psychic and steel type Pokemon. That made Kurtis think about Bisharp, He is Kurtis's very first Pokemon.. Though thinks to their past Kurtis was not going to say anything about having a steel type Pokemon. " He sure sounds like a good Pokemon. He also seems to serve you well." Kurtis said and his eyes started to look out of the mouth of the cave, It was starting to hail now.. The twister must be coming closer. Well they where safe in this tunnel so Kurtis was not worried about it. [/scrolly]

However, in the past, she had learned that all of life was to serve in something or another, and this understanding was what made it alright with her. "Indeed," she agreed back nodding her head slowly. However, as she caught sight of the hail and things, Nero blinked feeling even more startled than before. If it was more than a twister and a full blown storm coming, they might have more on their hands.... Mentally sighing and wondering how her day out had changed so quickly, Nero slowly shook her head. "It looks as though there might be even more than just tension in the air," she sighed without much emotion. It was only this that allowed Nero to slowly sink to the ground crossing her legs as she did so. "What.. an interesting to meet people..." she noted dryly thinking of how she had met that other woman, Ruka, in much the same way.... [/scrolly]

Though Kurtis did look at Nero when he said " What.. an interesting to meet people." " I take it this is not the first time this has happened to you? Hmm Its getting cold.." Kurtis said and he took out a pokeball and called out Ponyta. Her fiery main and tail lit up the cave. Ponyta blinked and looked around. " Wow, nice cave." She said and she looked over at the exit. " Wow, it looks bad out side." She said and looked at Nero and Kurtis again before coming a little closer and folded up her legs under her laying down on the ground. Kurtis smiled at his Pokemon. Though he remained standing. " Well, I'm sure this wont last long Nero. I bet this will be over soon. Though this will be a funny story to tell my sister when I see her again." Kurtis said with a soft chuckle. [/scrolly]

At Kurtis's words of reassurance, Nero found herself unsure but wasn't going to directly state that. There was no reason to put doubt on such things seeing as the weather, being an impulsive creature of habit, would probably decide of its own accord hopefully soon. "Possibly," she answered back nodding her head slowly. "May I ask a question?" she asked slowly looking sideways at Kurtis and waiting for his answer. [/scrolly]

For a few minutes Kurtis wondered what the young man was wanting to ask.. He hoped it was not about his scar.. He had not covered it today.. If it was not that though,,, Then what did Nero want to ask? So Kurtis just smiled at Nero, " Sure, what do you want to know?" Kurtis asked. [/scrolly]

"......I mean.... I have it.... but I keep it away all the time..." she said directing a finger to her bun that kept all of said hair aside from her 'side bangs' away. [/scrolly]

If a sweat drop could be seen, Kurtis would have one on the side of his head. Though Kurtis had no real idea how to answer Nero. Kurtis looked up at the ceiling of the cave for a few minutes to think of an answer. He then looked down at Nero.v " I don't have much of answer, I'm just used to it I guess. Sorry but that's all I can really say." Kurtis said in a apologetic tone of voice. [/scrolly]

Well it looked like he had failed on that. But what to say to the young man with out revealing much of anything? So Kurtis stood there silently for a few minutes before his muscles relaxed, A weak smile came to Kurtis's expression, and he looked at Nero. " Not to attack people that I can assure you. It... It was my Father's sword before he was killed. You might say I keep it to have something of him with me. " Kurtis half lied. And hoped that young Nero would ask no more then that. [/scrolly]

No she was not impatient, rather, she knew a bit too well what a long silence before an answer meant: some sort of lie. However, as Kurtis explained about a family tie on the matter, Nero found herself believing him at least in part. Sentimental things seemed to stay with people. "I see," was the answer given back. "He was a swordsman then?" she asked as more dry thoughts came to her mind and as her mouth wished to keep up some sort of conversation even on one side. [/scrolly]

But what else was there to do when they where stuck in a cave with a raging storm out side, And by now Kurtis could hear rolling thunder and even saw a few flashes of lighting. Yeah... They where going to be stuck here for a while.. " Yes, he was a swordsman." [/scrolly]

A part of her quickly wanted to take the question back seeing as if this man was of the knights, she wouldn't know what to say or do anymore. However, it had already been stated, and it seemed silly to take such a thing back again. Therefore, she simply waited for the answer. [/scrolly]

A commoner using swordsmanship? Well... maybe it was some form of militia or something, yes. That made sense. "I see," she answered back nodding her head slowly in understanding. However, that left silence again, and Nero simply found herself staring out at the storm as it continued to rage. There wasn't much to say, anyways.... unless Kurtis brought something up, but he seemed as quiet as she was. However, it was in the minute of silence after that that something began to stir. A certain pokeball was shaking within Nero's pocket. Not very happy to have been returned so quickly, Semeil was now fighting to get out of said ball. Upon realizing this, Nero found her hand slide to her pocket and clamp down on the ball as though it would keep the Steelix from being released. However, in another moment, the large metal snake broke from his pokeball and seemed to shake his massive head in disdain. "Now dear was returning me really the right thing to do?" the Steelix asked. Though he was huge for the hole, he could at least put some of his body outside, thankfully enough. Nero blinked startled but said nothing. Nodding as though he had confirmed something, Semeil looked then towards Kurtis. "Well my dear hello again~" he smiled. [/scrolly]

Kurtis looked over and saw him with a hand on a moving pokeball. Kurtis blinked and then his eyes became wide with shock. Semeil had gotten out of his pokeball and was now taking up much of the space in the cave. Ponyta let out a shocked sound got up and walked over as far as she could to the end of the cave and stood next to Kurtis glareing at the steel type pokemon. When Semeil addressed him Kurtis looked at Semeil and gave a weak smile. " Um... Hello." Kurtis said. [/scrolly]

However, instead, she just sighed and slowly started to stand up. Semeil, meanwhile, had his eyes not on the Ponyta that seemed to be 'defending' her trainer but on the trainer himself. Ooooh very man pretty~ Very gorgeous skin especially for a human~ "Ah, and what is your name beautiful?" Semeil asked before looking sideways at Nero. "My trainer had been a bit rude on our introduction but my name is Semeil~" he grinned lightly. Nero fidgeted trying to figure out whether or not to return the Steelix or not. [/scrolly]

Nodding his head slowly, he beamed a bit more at Kurtis. "Well very nice to meet you dearie," the large snake pokemon answered back. "You look like a fine young man ... much like my Nero, really.. but yes I digress, what is it you do for a living?" Semeil asked rather bluntly. Nero quite literally face/palmed causing Semeil to stop and look over at her. "Nero, lovelycakes, I just wanted to ask a few questions. No reason to act so droll about it," he stated if a bit sharply. Nero sweat dropped and simply remained silence before looking at Kurtis apologetically. [/scrolly]
