With dark brown eyes that sometimes appear red in different lighting, Sebastian has short dark hair that goes to the back of his neck. He is rather pale, yet he never seems to come close to becoming tan. He stands about 6'2'' and is rather thin looking. He normally dresses in his standard butler uniform as per job requirements.

Calm, thoughtful, powerful, and downright terrifying, Sebastian will act only when asked to by Ciel Phantomhive or with his own intentions in mind meaning no one else can influence him in anyway. Sebastian finds humans and humanity weak in general, yet he somewhat respects those that are willing to push themselves to the limit and all but seal a deal with the devil to do so. One namely person who has caught his attention is Ciel whom Sebastian has sworn allegiance to for as long as Ceil lives. In the end prospect of the deal, Sebastian is said to be able to claim Ciel's life, yet this deal is somewhat vague in meaning.
To many, Sebastian is a devil in tailored clothes. He can be exceptionally cruel and harsh one minute and rather tame the next when requested by Ciel. He won't hesitate to battle when asked and won't hesitate to kill when asked. He shows neither mercy nor pitty for anyone who gets in his master's way. Sebastian willingly makes himself a chess piece to Ciel's chess game against everyone and everything and will often make comments that explain this.
Sebastian is one hell of a butler and can cook with the expertise of a gourmet chef as well as run a household with an iron fist. He keeps the maid, cook, and gardener in check even when Ciel has free time to actually do such things himself.

Note: All history of him up until he became Ciel's butler is completely unknown and shrouded in mystery. None have dared to ask Sebastian who he was, and he never states anything of his past. Ciel Phantomhive caught the attention of the dark haired demonic man and made him purpose a deathly deal to the boy. He promised that he could make all the pain go away and destroy the enemies of Ciel. All that was requested in return was the boy's soul.
To Sebastian's surprise, the boy quickly took up the offer, and with that, things were set into motion. The demonic man formed an agreement and gave the boy a Honchkrow before throwing out a Tyranitar and a Sableye to destroy those that Ciel asked him to. Though he had no attachment to Ciel's original case, Sebastian followed the boy's orders with no disagreement.
After the deathly deeds were finished, Sebastian followed Ciel back to the Phantomhive estate and rebuilt it once more. After a few months, the house appeared to have never fallen. The demonic man, now a butler only to the boy, worked to hire up those with enough talent to protect the estate. After they were all hired, Sebastian began to run the mansion more or less. He worked with extreme care and power and would do whatever was asked of him. Meirin, the maid who would start to have a crush on Sebastian, would start to show her liking towards Sebastian, yet the butler has continued to ignore such affections to this day.
The demonic man would go on to follow the young boy he had sworn allegiance to never leaving him alone as was per his master's orders. He would do terrible deeds on behalf of Ciel and would become widely known as one hell of a butler both in his starking amount of abilities as well as his extreme devotion to every single word Ciel stated. Just as the contract had stated, Sebastian made himself not a friend to Ciel but a black knight in Ciel's chess game.
