X3;; So I'm making Alaric's mom who I love so very much and I've realized I have a horrible issue I simply cannot decide on.
HOW TALL IS SHE?
See, the problem is, ORIGINALLY Ava was 5'3", and Alessia was 5'2". However, some time before joining VC, Ava was retconned to be 5'1". ... Well, the thing is, prior to that Alessia was just barely the shortest in the whole family, and I found that really cute and was pretty fond of it, so I'd like to keep that factor.

If I keep her 5'2", she's still very small, but not quite the smallest.
If I make her 5'1", she's the same height as Ava, and while I could make a less-than-inch difference to make her shortest again I'd just rather not, considering Ava is already so similar to her mom and the VERY same number of inches on top of that just seems to push it.
If I make her 5'0" even, that puts her exactly a foot from Cyneric, which isn't impossible but is unlikely. Especially with them both being exact foot markers. While this too could be given an "and a half" to keep it from being quiiiiiite as bad, it's still too close for comfort to me.
If I go one MORE down and make her 4'11", she's MY height. ... 'x3; Now, I love my height, but I am very very small and this honestly kind of feels TOO small for her but MIGHT work, except.. We already have entirely too much in common completely unintentionally. (Like when I found her name I always read it 'uh-LESS-see-uh' and only not too terribly long ago realized it's technically very very similar to Alicia and could even be pronounced like that for all I know. 'x3) And since I already am technically Alaric's "mom" in that I created/"gave life" to him I just REALLY don't want to end up turning her into my aged-up self-insert (any more than she'll already end up being, I have a bad habit of my chars starting off really independent and gradually picking up more and more of my traits, and she's already starting with a number of them and uuugh).

... X'3;; On a somewhat related but irrelevant note... You guys wanna know how fucking much we have in common? I only realized this a few weeks ago, but... I want to start by saying I picked Alaric's birthday because I really like the number 2 (Dragon-Alaric's birthday was 02/02/2002, even) and Feb 2 also happens to be my husband's birthday so it got bonus points. I picked Ava's birthday purely by zodiac and then trying to pick a day that "seemed naturally random", because too many of my character's have birthdays where numbers have significance or patterns or are cusps and so-on. I also want to note I made both of them between babies and had no way of knowing when Varian would be born; I had no idea how far along I actually was with him even until like 7 months or something in; there was a whole huge month timeframe in my mind and I had no way whatsoever of knowing when he may have been born.
..... Ava and Alaric are 15 months, 2 weeks, and 3 days apart in age.
