She was hoping that they would have a Ponyta or even better, a Rapidash but of course she had no such luck. The prices were of course one of the main reasons she came out and seeing that all the prices were halved, it was a good chance to pick up some much needed supplies. Though Carly was curious what Pokemon they did have and thus found herself walking down the section that had the Pokemon. A lot of them caught her eye at the end of it all, but what captivated Carly's attention was the White Zebstrika that happened to snort as she walked by. Turning to the Pokemon in question, Carly smiled and reached out to stroke the Zebstrika between the bars of the cage,"Well now aren't you pretty~,"she cooed/purred as she continued to stroke the Zebstrika. Granted he was a little tall ... at least a couple inches taller than Carly, but then that didn't come as a big surprise to her; Carly was used to people and Pokemon being taller considering she herself was about the size of a child. Remembering that Lyall had Cien, Carly was now determined to get the Zebstrika so that she had at least something to ride. After all, it would be rather odd ... not to mention awkweird if she had to ask for a ride every time they went on an outing together. Yes ... the Zebstrika would do nicely~ ... looking at the price tag, Carly smiled when she saw that the price was quite affordable, having been slashed down to 1200 from its original 2400. "How would you like to come home with me big fella?"she cooed before gesturing to one of the people in charge of the Pokemon,"I'll take the Zebstrika if you don't mind~ ... how does 1500 sound?"she asked matter-of-factly. Oh yes Carly knew that the price was 1200 but then again, you never knew with sales like these, it was best to overstate the price and be asked to lower than to say the given price and feel foolish.[/scrolly]

Personality: A foxy little dragon who knows very well she is looked upon with admiring eyes. She often uses this to her advantage, most often to get things out of others. On the out side she appears to be very confident, strong willed, and happy. Deep down she is extremely depressed. She finds all pokemon and humans to be the same. Annoying creatures who never like her for herself but rather her looks. Because of this she never allows anyone to get too close to her. When someone attempts to, including her trainer, she simply pushes them away either by attacking them or being a complete snob.

JADE WEST

Jade had been in the shop as well and the same exact pokemon had caught her eye. Its coloring was odd, but she simply loved the species more then the coloring. She had seen a little girl petting it and had over heard her words. She flicked her hair out of her face, so someone else wanted the pokemon as well. She knew that most people would let the little girl have it, but that didn't matter to Jade. She wanted the pokemon and she was going to trying and get it for herself. Following Carly up to the counter she heard her say that she would pay 1500 for the pokemon. "Sorry sweet checks but you won't be taking that Zebstrika home today." Once Carly turned around she would see a teen about the age of 18 with long black hair with deep blue highlights in them standing behind her. Her voice was rather harsh as she put on hand on her hip and flashed her a small creepy grin. From the locks she had been around the block a few times and would have no trouble starting a fight over the pokemon. "I doubt a nine year old would have that kind of cash." Her last remark was very snide as she sneered at the girl not caring of how young she may be.

Pffft like some busybody was going to tell her what to do anyway ... a quick glance at Jade told her a few things; she didn't like to lose and wasn't one to be pushed easily. Of course considering that they were both attempting to buy the same Zebstrika, Carly's first impression of the woman could have been a little off. Well now, it certainly seemed that this woman wasn't daunted by the fact that Carly appeared to be a little kid as evidence by the comment on her supposed age. Well now~, if she was going to play it that way then of course Carly would take the bait ... this could prove to be most entertaining ... . Looking up at the woman with an innocent expression on her face, Carly blinked,"I'm sorry old lady but my mommy told me to never talk to strangers ... ,"she said in a sweet voice as she placed the money on the counter. Though she was playing the innocent, Carly was doing her best not to burst out laughing as she imagined the reaction her words would bring but aside from a sparkle in her eyes, there was no evidence of this. Seeing Jade sneer Carly blinked at Jade again and tilted her head to the side,"Did you eat something that tasted bad ... ? That's the face my daddy made when he had to eat some burnt cheese and broccoli ... did you eat burnt cheese too ... ?"she continued, still maintaining her innocent appearance. Ok ... so it wasn't the best come back in the world, but then again the old lady comment should throw off the woman long enough for Carly to think of something ten times better.[/scrolly]

Ryder, it has been a month if not a little more. If you don't bid again in a week from today, the Zebu will be going to Carly.

Personality: This Zebstrika is rather quiet but genuinely kind and courteous. He speaks English as well as Poke-speech in a very quiet but easily understood manner in hopes that none misunderstand him. That being said, though he is a pokemon of few words, he doesn't mind being in groups. He likes listening to interesting stories and will give the person whom he is listening to all ears.Though he's not too fond of fighting, when it comes to defending his friends, he will fight as hard as possible in order to see that no harm comes to them. He sees his trainer as both a big and little sister: one whom he looks up to but also one he needs to look out for. He often shares a sort of big brother stature  towards other pokemon lending help when it is asked and generally being very civil in all regards.
