Things That Go Bump in the Night (Cora)

Black Jack Spade was in a good mood. The past few weeks had been good, and he had gotten a considerable number of shipments passed around through the country. As a result, he had quite a lot of change in his pockets now. His last shipment had left him up all the way up in the north, and though he would probably have started back down towards the capital, night was coming on quick, and he didn't have any fast or telepoting pokemon on him at the moment. Debating whether or not to try and find a hotel or just spend the night playing, Jack stopped his lazy walking on the street and put a hand to his chin.

We should just find the cheapest hotel and crash there... Third sighed. The voice was tired. He had been in negotiations for an hour... or rather assisting BJ with negotiations seeing as he was denied the right to take over their 'host's body. I say we find some cute lady or handsome man~ Cas hummed dreamily. I say you find someone to kill -.- I'm so bored... Ripper grunted causing a quiet squeal to escape from Casanova. BJ, meanwhile, smirked a little and sighed watching his breath trail up into the air. He was far from tired, though it might have just been the onset of true cold that was keeping him too cold to be tired, and because of this, he decided on the latter.

Shoving his hands in his pockets, Jack began to walk down the streets of Sonata City once more. There had to be something to do in this place. He didn't know it like he did the castle, but he was sure that he could find something... Looking around on the streets, Jack raised an eyebrow. Most of the stores appeared to be on the verge of closing. What? Didn't they know the night life was the best time to go out? Laughing a little and shaking his head, Jack continued to walk if a bit faster than before. Maybe he could find someone to hang out with... or even some group of kids to play with. They were always fun and accepting of him...seeing as BJ was just a big kid deep down.

The little girl was having so much fun playing with Shinn she had lost track of time and even where she was at. That was until it had started to get dark. Though Otsuyu was not scared at all.. Twilight was her favorite time of day, this is when she started to mess with people if she was in the mood. Though seeing how huge Shinn was he would not fit in the city. So with a sigh Otsuyu returned Shinn. Well, Otsuyu now noticed she was somewhere knew.. Though a creepy smile came to the little girl's face. No one knew her here.. So they would expect a little girl like her self to pull a trick or to. So then Otsuyu gave a cute smile and started to skip down the sidewalks As she did so she called out Maggie and Ghen who quickly hid themselves. So who would be the first victim? Only time would tell, Though Otsuyu just wanted a few laughs to the pranks would be a lower level then what Otsuyu would normally do. [/scrolly] [bg=776fa1]

Nether did Maggie or Ghen, they had not thought about going a head and taking a quick look. Something they may regret, Otsuyu just kept on skipping along in carefree like manner. And that would seem odd for a young girl who was out and alone at night. After a minute she went by the area that Jack was hiding. Not even noticing he was there at all, nether did Maggie or Ghen. It wasn't the kindest thing to do, but hell it was one heck of an adrenaline rush for the purple haired man. You're horrible! Cas cried slightly disgusted. Ripper sneered before breaking into a tremendous laugh. Third quietly muttered some curse under his breath. If this ruined some of his plans in any way, he would not be pleased. But the fear she felt passed and was placed a amusement. Otsuyu gave a dark smirk as she looked up at Jack, her pokemon did not need Otsuyu to say anything. Maggie appered right in front of Jack inches from his face, she made the scariest look she could make. BOO!" She said as menacing as she could, before fazeing right through Jack making sure to send a deep chill though his body. " Nice try human....." Otsuyu said with a dark creepy laugh. Sure he had felt the chill, the feeling that his bones were about to rip themselves from his flesh and leave him there as nothing more than a blob bag, yet at the same time, his Pearl had done this many times previously, and worse still, his Dusknoir Hollow had done such before leaving him chilly and in pain. This caused the young girl to look back at Jack, Her eyes looked at him from head to toe then back to his face again. Otsuyu frowned a little turned and started to walk away again. This time Maggie and Ghen appeared on both sides of Otsuyu, just to be there. They where not trying to prove a point or to a give a message. " That human seems to be used to creepy things.. Great, he was going to follow her now? Jack happen to be on the same side as Ghen was on of Otsuyu. He then started to flout around Jack's head just for the fun of it. Maggie looked over and watched Jack closely, she was not sure if Jack was a friend for foe yet.. Otsuyu then looked forward again, " I might... or might not... Why do you care?." As long as he wasn't straight up attacked, he was fine. At the question and somewhat answer from the girl, Jack grinned a little. "Heh, cause that's what I had been doin'," he answered back easily walking with his hands in his pockets now. He generally liked kids. They were more fun than adults... at least for some activities anyways. Cas was pretty sure that for others, adults were preferred. "Wanna play a game?" was the question asked. An adult that like to scare people to?? That was well unheard of.. For Otsuyu anyway. Though Otsuyu was not sure if she liked Jack though.. Even if he did like to scare others. What Jack asked next made Otsuyu stop in her tracks. Play a game?? What? Otsuyu looked up at Jack with untrusting eyes. Though part of her did not trust him the other part kinda wanted to play a game... If the game involved scarying others just for the fun of it. " What kind of game?." Otsuyu asked. A contest of sorts, to see who could scare someone the best. A smile came to Otsuyu's face, she liked the idea. And she was looking for something to do and she has had tones of practice scaring people who happen to enter the grove when she was there. Otsuyu then nodded, " Ok human, I will play that game. Sounds like it could be a lot of fun..." Otsuyu was not going to say she had been doing this kinda thing most of her life. But she also got the feeling Jack has been doing this a long time to. "Nice," he grinned before slowly starting to look around once more. Catching sight of a man and woman walking down the street pretty far off, Jack looked back at Otsuyu for a moment. "If you'll hide, I'll go first," he smirked before walking further into the ally way near him. Stepping once more into the shadows, he watched and waited for the people to walk by. As they did so, Jack broke into a grin and releasing a howling screech causing both the man and the woman to jump and look around startled. Jumping out of the shadows, Jack roared causing both to turn and run away as quickly as they could. Upon watching them flee, Jack broke into a good amount of laughter and clapped his hands. It would give her a chance to see his style and work in a plan to beat it. So the young girl hid in a alleyway and watched as Jack worked on scaring a few people. As he scared then Otsuyu swet dropped. Really? Just screaming from the darkness and jumping out at them?? That is a old trick, well it was for Otsuyu anyway. Otsuyu stepped out of the drakness and just shook her head. That was.... Ok, now I will show you how its done." Otsuyu said with a evil smile. She then took out a pokeball and called out Akora. Otsuyu looked at her small dark type pokemon and smiled. Its play time.. Akora, Ghen and Maggie. the ghost pokemon smiled and vanished, Akora smiled and turned herself into Otsuyu. With that Akora and Otsuyu took off down the street and when they spotted a small group of people they hid as they hatched a plan. Otsuyu then nodded as if she was signaling someone. Just then a chanting could be heard and the area around them started to distort and a creepy fog rolled in. The group of people stopped and noticed what was going on around them. They started to get scared and walk away. But the fog just kept following them, They stopped and looked around. They had no idea what was going on and thats what scared them the most. Soon Otsuyu let out a creepy laughter that made them all freeze. On one side of the group Otsuyu stepped out with her head down so her hair covered her eyes. She laughed again as the people looked at her fearfully and demaned what was going on. " Whats going on you ask humans? Otsuyu said darkly as Akora appered on the other side like a ghost would thanks to Maggie's ilusiones. They saw that and screamed ghost. Otsuyu laughed loudly and she took some sort of stance, with in a seconded two swords appered in her hands as well as Akora. " Thats right.. I'm a ghost... And I hate humans... You have trespassed and you will pay!! Otsuyu said darkly and as if they where one at the time time Akora and Otsuyu charged at the group as if they where going to attack. They all scarmed and a few even peed their pants. They all took off in a mad dash. When they ran the ilusione faded leaving Otsuyu and Akora standing on the side walk. Akora was the first to fall over laughing and turned back into her true form. Otsuyu started to laugh and seated her self on the ground while she laughed. But soon she got up and ran off and hid in a alleyway to wait for Jack. After that that would get people looking for whoever did that. If no one came looking that would shock Otsuyu. " So, how was that Jack?" Otsuyu asked while still laughing, she then picked up Akora and petted her. [/scrolly] [bg=776fa1]

Jack couldn't help but raise an eyebrow at Otsuyu's statement, yet when she actually preformed her part in the game, he understood. Should have used pokemon~ Well their bet hadn't been against it, but he'd certainly assumed they would each be doing it alone. Either way, as the ghost girl came back, Jack just broke into a cheesy grin. "Eh~ Not bad," he answered back slowly fishing out a pokeball. "But ya used pokemon ya know," he grinned before suddenly releasing the contents of his pokeball. Whatever came out quickly disappeared into the shadow of a wall, and Jack slowly looked back at Otsuyu before making a motion for her to follow. Walking down the street, he caught sight of a few more people walking slowly and chatting with one another. Stopping at another alleyway, Jack leaned against the wall and pretended to wave to the people as they passed. The group smiled and waved as well, mostly out of courtesy than anything, yet after a moment, Jack seemed to suddenly slide back into the wall, and the purple haired man screeched out a cry causing the people to turn around startled as a giant black blob seemed to be eating the purple haired man. Disappearing fully into it, Jack was gone. The people looked from one to another and murmured fearful words, yet right under them, large hands reached up and seized ankles. Screams wretched themselves out into the night, and the sound of running vibrated the streets. A laugh finally followed, and once more Jack seeped out of the wall.
