"You insolent little cave men....If you know what is fucking good for you, you will GET OUT OF MY WAY!" Luana snapped viciously high jump kicked a doctor in the face causing the man to fall backwards and cry out startled. In another moment, Luana was on the move again elbowing past a good number of doctors and worried nurses as she barraged the hospital like a whirlwind. She still hadn't found Indi, but people's lives were more important at the moment, and she was going to beat some sense into these primitive imbecile who called themselves doctors before she was done.
Honestly why in the world would anyone use such primitive medical techniques anymore? She'd seen a few of their more 'high tech' items as she had walked in and said that she was giving assistance, but really who used such machines anymore? She had already figured out that these people belonged to the dinosaurs, but God damn it! "Miss! Miss you can't just... Miss..." a nervous little nurse was now following after Luana more or less begging her to stop, and the still very intimidating hard core Biolomechanic was far too pissed off to remotely care of whatever was being said to her.
Stopping in one of the rooms, Luana crossed her arms. "You," she snapped causing both the doctor and the patient to jump inside. Storming in, Luana seized the syringe and inspected it with a keep but scrutinizing eye. "This thing looks ancient!" she flared only to suddenly feel an arm on her shoulder. "Hey!" she snapped only to realize a good number of doctors were now pulling her out of the room. "Hey! Let go! Let go! There are injured people in here, and you cave men are working around like...." Luana didn't get a chance to finish her statement before she was forced out into the waiting room to which she then stood nostrils flared,a trait she had only picked up after Indi had started smoking.
"Miss if you are not injured, we would like you to please leave," a nurse said before quickly hiding behind the safety of a door. Luana face/palmed quite literally. Ugh... did no one there understand? The fact that maybe she was a mildly socially awkward violent scientist from a far off continent wasn't the answer that came to Luana's mind. "You idiots!" she shouted before suddenly storming out of the hospital as quickly as she had come. After that, a good number of people sighed thankful that the woman hadn't killed anyone in her windstorm.
Luana stormed outside and walked down the steps of the hospital and simply stand there. Biting her lip, she fought the sudden rush of tears that were coming to her. All these people.... are dying... was all that came to Luana's mind. All those people were dying.. and she had no way to help them... She had no lab... no nothing... She didn't even have Indi at the moment.... All those people had died... she'd seen it on the news upon passing... What if... Indi was... No he would have survived the blast, damn it. He was too strong not to. Squeezing her eyes shut, she walked quickly down the street mentally crying at being unable to help anyone. It... it wasn't fair.....She... she wanted to go home...Where was Indi damn it?

Trish didn't know why she was here.
The woman stared at the hospital building, just standing there. To all outsiders, she looked cold; her eyes were impenetrable ice, and she was swathed in her chaotic, gothic clothing, her heavy make up unmarred by tears. Her Murkrow, Lenore, sat on her shoulder, also staring; the bird was more confused than anything, but seemed to sense that she should be quiet.
Trisha Walker, a self-proclaim lover of the twisted and macabre, who tamed ghosts and monsters, whose very presence here, raven in tow, could be seen as a mockery of the people inside of that hospital...was being torn apart inside.
Her family was all far away from Era, and as for friends, she didn't have many, and all of them were alive. But those people weren't so lucky. People who survived the initial bombing only to die not long after. A hand, covered in a black glove, rose up and reached out in the direction of the hospital, then withdrew, instead moving over to gently stroke the bird on her shoulder. Trish closed her eyes, but they were still dry.
There was only one person who she'd ever allow to see her cry.
There was a third member to this group, who looked strangely out of place. A small Vulpix sat at her trainer's feet, tail curled around herself and ears drooped. Pandora could only begin to grasp at what had happened, but it made her feel powerless. The fox's ear suddenly twitched, however, when she noticed someone leave the hospital; Trish's eyes were still shut, her breathing less steady than it had been to start.
Why did she come here? To torture herself with the fact that her adopted region was killing itself? To remind herself how hopeless and deluding it was to think that a few anti-war songs were going to change anything?
I need Mason...
"Pix!" The yip managed to break through Trish's thoughts, and she looked up in confusion to see her Vulpix making a beeline for a woman walking quickly down the street. Pandora raced along partly-beside, partly-behind the strange woman, letting out whimpers, whines and yips in an attempt to grab her attention; she was desperate to comfort and help somebody. Just one person.
Trish merely stared. "Pandora...?" she said a little belatedly, probably too quiet to really be heard.

Just stop thinking about it. There's nothing you can do. Stop thinking about it. Just stop thinking about it... These words rushed through Luana's thoughts, yet for all her conviction to follow them, she found it impossible to do so. Every single step she took away from the hospital ripped apart her essence that much more, and fresh tears were trying so very hard to get away from her. It was taking too much to hold them all back. Luana knew of war. She'd watched cities in her home country burn in pixilated form on televisions. She'd worked on Usaran veterans in her lab. She'd failed in the lab to save the soldiers of Usara. She'd done this all, yet with Indi, without Stephanie, without Ivan, Isaac, Illian, or even that bitchy Aletha...Without them there to help her through this emotion that she could never and would never be able to explain for all of her logic, science, and biology... she was alone. Fuck her life she was alone! Stop thinking about it Why hadn't she brought someone with her to this backwards country?! Because everyone else back home had things to do, but damn it why was she alone! Stop thinking about it! Indi! Indiana Indigo! Where the --
In the middle of this mental turmoil the hairs on the back of Luana's neck had perked, and she stopped walking. Eyes dropped downward to the creature that was following her -a ...pokemon, yes- and for a brief moment, Luana stared. On any other day, she might have been excited. On any other day, Luana might have jumped at the chance to examine a new creature: one that this world seemed so amazingly full of. However, worry, stress, and anger had depolarized her scientific love for the moment, and thus, she simply stared down at it without saying anything. Instead of what should have been done, instead of what would have been like her, Luana stared down at the creature finally allowing a few weak tears trail down her face. Damn it if this tarnished what little make-u she had on, Luana was going to.....
A part of Luana wanted to look back up and continue walking as though she hadn't even seen the fox-like pokemon. A part of her wanted to turn and run down the street to find some sort of security somewhere less public somewhere safe. However, instead, she breathed in and looked down at the pokemon ever still "What? What do you want?" she asked a little harsher than intended before her voice shook too hard to keep talking. Bringing a hand to her mouth, Luana silenced herself and bit her lip behind this cover.

The harsh voice made Pandora's ears pin back, and she let out a small whimper. Maybe this hadn't been a good idea...but those tears...she had to try. "Vulpix..." she 'answered' quietly, walking over to rub her head against the stranger's leg affectionately. She curled her body around the woman's ankle in an almost cat-like fashion, trying to use her high fire-type body temperature to provide a comforting warmth. "Vul..."
I want to make you happy. Even if I don't know who you are, or why you're sad, I want to take some of that sad away. Pandora, for the first time in a long time, wanted desperately to be able to speak to humans, if only so she could voice that.
Trish remained where she was, just as much the statue as she'd been before, but now focusing on something else with her stare. Lenore nudged her and gave a very soft caw, gesturing at Pandora; she knew this could end all sorts of bad ways, so maybe they should snatch up the fox before she got kicked, stolen, or somesuch?
Trish looked at her Murkrow, reading the gesture well enough, but merely sighed quietly and shook her head. "Just...keep an eye on her," she whispered, and Lenore nodded and took in and out a few calm, deep breaths, ready to act if needed.

The whimper caused Luana to freeze, and thus, she stood there with her hand still clasped over her mouth, and as the Vulpix rubbed up against her and curled around her ankle, thoughts of her Marcy back home sprang up. Oh God she hoped Stephanie or someone back home would remember to feed him... and more than that, she realized just how much she missed her cat. Pokemon were interesting creatures, but she missed her 'devil cat' as Indi had referred to him time and time again as.
Slowly bending down, Luana removed her hand from around her mouth and made to pet the Vulpix very gently. "Sorry...." was the quiet word that escaped Luana as free falling tears slowly slid down her cheeks to land here and there. "I... I'm so sorry...." she whispered quieter than before. She was sorry she couldn't help the people. She was sorry that this was going on. She was sorry that she's shouted and was making such a fool of herself on the streets, and she was sorry she felt so weak at the moment.
However, at least here, the Vulpix was, indeed, being comforting. Stroking the warm fur still, Luana breathed out, reached a hand up, and pushed a few stray tears away, not caring what it did to her make-up for now.

"Vulpix...Vulpix..." It's okay...It's okay... Pandora tried to lick the hand petting her, hoping that the soothing coo in her voice was picked up despite the language barrier. Sometimes people just needed to cry, she knew, but all the same she wished she could make the lady happy.
Trish and Lenore were left still standing there, now completely at a loss for what to do. Part of Trish wanted to look away in an attempt to respect privacy, but another part didn't want to take her eyes off her pokemon just in case something happened that required her intervening. Similarly, Lenore was both pleasantly surprised that nothing bad had happened yet and still wary in case the stranger came to conclusion that Pandora wanted to come home with her.
Pandora's ear suddenly twitched and she glanced up as a slender form stepped out of a nearby shadow. "Nine..." Gabrielle, in his all his haunting glory, took a few steps toward the woman and then sat down, wrapping his mostly-black tails around himself and tilting his head to one side. He didn't want to crowd the human, but he was struck with much the same instinct Pandora was, if not to the same degree.
Trish's mouth twitched very slightly for a moment. She'd told him not to follow her, but she wasn't terribly surprised that he had.

If she had spoken Pokemon somehow, Luana would have denied that it was ok. How could anything be ok when she was helpless to these people? She could spent months building new machines, but what good would it do right now? Nothing.. If it was one think she hated in the world, Luana hated the thought of being useless and helpless... She wanted to make a difference. She wanted to save lives. She wanted to go home back to her lab with Indi and work on medicine again. Yet here she was tapped in some foreign land being useless and ....
A quiet breath was taken in as Luana tried her very best to settle herself though with a mix of results. Focusing in on the Vulpix's tongue brushing her fingers every one in a while, the brown haired woman managed a weak smile if only for a moment. Luana was not as good as Indi at hiding her emotions and had known that for a long time now. However at that moment in time, she wished she was. It would have made things so much easier....somehow.... Another breath in and---?
As the Ninetales spoke, Luana's eyes slowly rose from the Vulpix and settled again on the haunting figure before her. Thought she knew very little about pokemon all things said and done, somewhere in the back of her mind, the biologist recognized the coloring patterns. Abundistic ...where large patches of black or spotting occurs... Heh... she wondered if that was even true for pokemon as it was for animals and humans....Maybe she would look it up somewhere when she wasn't feeling like crap and ruining her make up splendidly.
A brief try at a smile was all that was attempted visually before Luana felt words come up into her. "H-hello..." The words were almost inaudible and Luana mentally kicked herself for being so weak as to do such a thing. Ugh life...
