Pokemon Hunting.(Mod/open)

Lucio walked through the dunes in search for something rare. The man could barely be seen except for his eye's and eye brows. He was whereing his black cloak. Witch was wrapped around him so that his body wasn't visible. It also had a hood witch wen't over his head to keep any sand out. Wrapped around his face pinned on the left shoulder to keep it from falling back down.He could slip his right arm out of his cloak for convince. The man looked around it was rather quiet , and hot. He hated to be hot , but he could deal for the sake of his reward. Perseverance is what gets the prize. Lucio thought to himself as he continued to walk.

The sands were unforgiving things. The heat, even in the winter, was sometimes rash and vicious, but thankfully it was more of a temperate day, at least. A few Crustle could be seen scuttling around in the distance along the sands, yet any more life was left much to be desired.

Making a tsk noise Lucio sent out his Flygon. The Dragon roared as he had been in that pokeball for a long time. he looked at his trainer giving him a glare. Lucio ignored it and spoke to him in a way that asserted his authority. "Go and find a strong Pokemon when you do call me. No need to wait though I trust your skills in combat." The Pokemon smiled he would do this with pleasure and then he was off to search for a worthy opponent. Lucio feared this day would be long; it was ok though he had time.

[Jay]

From the aerial view of the Flygon, a Tynamo could be see swimming through the sands farther away from the Crustle group that was still on the move. Farther away form that, what appeared to be a large East Sea Gastrodon could be seen moving very slowly through the sands. Well wasn't that a rather rare find?

The Flygon was annoyed nothing here was powerful enough to even bother with. At least he thought that so he continued to fly around in search of a strong opponent. Meanwhile Lucio Continued on foot keeping his Pokemon in his sites at all times. He knew better then to just let that Pokemon of his leash. "Damn desert now I know why Hope likes the north so much." The man muttered as he carried himself a across the sand.

[Jay]

Coming up underfoot of the blond haired man, a rather shaky Sandshrew broke upwards and shook out his head for a few seconds before looking around. Oddly enough, his coat color didn't match the sand at all. Where there was supposed to be a yellowish color, there was a light green.... a shiny~ Well that was interesting at least. Farther out in the sands, a group of four Numel could be seen walking together rather slowly as they made their way across the sands. At about midway between the Numel and the Sandshrew, a Eelektrik came breaking out of the sand. Looking around rather accusingly, he caught sight of the shiny Snadshrew, ushered a battle cry, and charged after the small thing.

Lucio had no words for what he had just witnessed. A shiny Sandshrew fighting an Eelektrik. It was like watching two babies have a fight. However a shiny was an uncommon sight ,and Eelektrik evolved into an Electross witch was really powerful so why not catch both? Lucio fetched two pokeballs off of his belt and released Gaia and C. "C use water pulse on Sandshrew ,and Gaia use Bulldoze on ELectrik". Then C sent a shot of water at Sandshrew,and Gaia went hurtling towards Electrick. Meanwhile the Flygon was still looking for a worthy opponent.

[Jay]

The Water Pulse hit the Sandshrew unexpectedly, and the startled pokemon went barreling backwards from the force of the water. Crying out startled, he managed to stop himself and shook his head. Forming a Night Slash, the Sandshrew retaliated. The Electrik ....wasn't affected at all. Having levitate, he was unaffected by ground moves. However, that didn't mean he couldn't retaliate. Forming an Acid Spray, he retaliated rather quickly.

C got hit with the night slash sending her tumbling backwards. Gaia was hit with the acid spray making him wince. Lucio forgot about the Electriks nasty levitate ability. "Gaia use gravity! Then Magnitude! C use crab-hammer!" Lucio commanded. C proceeded to use crab-hammer on the Sandshrew. This was as Gaia used gravity even Lucio himself felt the effect as his knees began to shake. The the Pokemon used magnitude which affected all the Pokemon even C. She was hurt a little , but not to badly so she can continue to fight.

The Eelektrik's eyes all but popped out of his head as he found himself being pulled downwards from the effects of the Gravity move. Hitting the sand and finding himself continuing to sink due to the immense gravity that was pulling him down through the sand particles, the poor pokemon flailed about truly afraid to be 'drowning' in the sandy abyss. If that wasn't bad enough, a Magnitude was unleashed causing the sand to shift and smash at the Eelektrik causing him to cry out in both fear and pain. Surprisingly though, the ground managed to force the form of the now grounded electric type just enough to where he was no longer drowning so to speak. However, the world was still rocking and a rolling around him causing him to sway a little. Distracted by his disorientation, the Eelektrik made no move to fight back at the moment subsequently losing his battle turn in turn.

The Sandshrew meanwhile was knocked straight in the stomach by the Hammering move and once more sent flying in the air. Though he was still in quite a lot of pain, he actually managed to miss the bulk of the Magnitude due to being in said air (not like it would have affected a Sandshrew much anyways,, but still). Landing with a soft 'thud' on the ground, the shrew pokemon did his best to shove himself up only to flop back down again unable to continue this surprised battle. If he had known he was going to fight today, maybe he would have dawned on some battle armor like he had seen those cool guys wear or something....Oh well, not much one can do now with an inability to get up and all.

Lucio sighed hearing the Pokemon scream in pain and fear. Maybe he should of tried and talk to it first, but it's too late for that now. He decided to try and end it. C took a smash by the magnitude as well as the opponents. Lucio whipped out two pokeballs crossed his arms then tossed the balls in an cross motion. Hoping to seal them away in the comforting orbs. C was panting , and Gaia was still standing strong, but he didn't want to fight the two Pokemon any longer. Lucio looked towards the skies to see Flygon was still searching for a worthy opponent.

Man that thing is persistent he thought to himself. It was rare for Lucio to let him loose so he didn't mind. The Flygon landed in the sand , and roared with a fearsome tone. Challenging any Pokemon in the area. He was a junkie looking for his fix.

[Jay]

The pokeball hit the Eelektrik and drew the body of the poor creature in even as he flailed to avoid the encompassing red light. Once within, the Eelektrik flailed about trying to fight his container only to find himself weaker than he had even anticipated. After a moment or so, the ball dinged in capture.

Ability: Levitate
Personality: Though he's not the strongest fighter around, this Eelektrik has a bad habit of getting irritated and picking fights with others often leading to his own demise unless he is ordered accordingly. He's quite feisty on any given day and tends to enjoy a good brawl before lunch and an afternoon nap. When not picking fights, he's surprisingly kind and gracious often treating others better than what he wants to be treated. He enjoys being around females and younger pokemon- always believing himself to be a family man when not 'working'- aka kicking someone else's butt in a fight. He wouldn't mind finding love but actually doesn't make it his top priority instead such things belong to becoming stronger and the like. He's quite passionate and also quite easily distraught by those that don't understand his passion. Thus he is prone to attacking those that he thinks don't like him.

The pokeball hit the Sandshrew's claw first and foremost, and the ground type blinked for a moment before suddenly feeling himself being dragged in. A shrill cry akin to a child echoed in the air before dispersing as the shrew disappeared inside. The pokeball itself shook several times as the Sandshrew fought to get out. However, the pokeball remained strong and kept everything still. After a moment more, there was a residual ding in capture.

Ability: Sand Veil
Personality: A rather quiet and docile fellow on most days, this Sandshrew is quite kind and thoughtful. He enjoys making others happy even at his own expense and tends to go out on a limb for people even his most distracting moments. He rarely gets angry, and even in the heat of battle, he's quite calm and collected even in the most trying of times. That being said, this is all an act really. Inside he is quick to temper and tends to find everyone around him superficial or stupid. He has a hard time relating to others and gets irritated when he is misunderstood. Despite this, he is fearful of others knowing of his true nature- even friends- and tries to play off that he's cool more often than not.

The roar from the sand dragon was enough to cause the ground to shake-... oh wait no that ... wasn't the ground, exactly. Indeed the sand was shaking rather hard, but something was coming up! What in the wor- Was that a ... no it couldn't be could it? A massive Torterra exploded from the sand not too far from where the Flygon was. "Now what in tarnation is all this noise about?" the large turtle pokemon barked out in a surprisingly old southern sounding voice.

Lucio smirked as the balls clicked in capture. he picked them up , and put them on his belt. He returned Gaia and C to their respected balls. He then heard a thunderous roar that no doubt came from flint. I wonder if he found an opponent Lucio thought to himself as he trudged through sand. Flint looked around and saw a Torterra he smiled before looking up. Then a Golden orb started and grew to the size of a basketball. Then he looked at the Grass type again and unleashed the beam that exploded with great force. Perhaps an all or nothing move, but it was the best way to exert all of his energy.

That indeed wasn't the best of moves. The Torterra whipped up a Protect and easily deflected all of the Hyperbeam that was then forced to go around it. However, rather than attack in retaliation, the old ground turtle turned towards Lucio and frowned. "Again, what in tarnation is goin' on youngin'?" he asked clearly displeased by what he was having to deal with even on the surface now.
