An entrance to the cavern found! (Open/Mod)

Alex watched as the large pokemon stretched out from what must have been a good nap. He cleared his throat and said, "Hi there I hate to interrupt your nap since it looked like you were having a good one there. I was wondering if you could let me get passed you since i need to venture on further into the cave." Alex did need to get passed him but he wanted to talk a little longer and see if he could get the large pokemon to join him. "You know your really quite impressive there and i would love to have you join my team if you want. I could really use your help and i promise that i will take care of you and also i can show you a vast and wonderful world outside of this tunnel." He waited for a nod or some kind of response from the large pokemon and he was very anxious and hoping that his answer would be a yes because he didn't want to have a battle inside of this cave especially since he was rather quite large.

Jasmine looked at the little fish pokemon and smiled, *I figured you were because of the way you looked and the fact that your friends were pretty far ahead of you by now.* He appeared to be putting up an act to show her that he was stronger than he actually was. She giggled and said, *Don't worry you don't have to put up a front for me. We all have our weaknesses, like for example I'm quite clumsy and i tend to trip over everything even when i don't have any feet to trip with.* She smiled as she tried to make the little guy feel better.

The Onix heard the first part of the young man's words and then slowly uncoiled his form and stretched it out length wise through the cavern so that, if one walked carefully enough, one could get by him without falling into the water. He had been about to go back to sleep again when Alex continued talking.... Wha? <Sunny, I am too olllllld to be travelin' any mo'> the Onix sighed out deeply in poke-speak shaking his head slowly. He slowly laid his head back down and shut his eyes once more.

The Feebas was quiet after Jasmine answered and slowly looked downwards frowning quietly. If only he could just swim as fast as the other two and be able to keep up... But they always left him in the dust...or rather, behind, considering that there was less dust and more dirt in water, really.

Alex watched as the onix moved over just enough to let him and Evangeline buy without falling into the water. He sighed and was a little disappointed at the answer he got from the onix. He had hoped he would come with him but he understood that he was probably too tired now and didn't want to travel anymore. He walked passed the large pokemon and continued on his way down the path and looked back, "It was good talking to you!" he yelled. He slowly turned his head back around and went about looking for anything else in he cave.

Jasmine swam around the little fish pokemon while smiling and said, *If you come with me I'm sure my trainer can help you to become much faster and maybe even help you to evolve into a milotic and then you will be able to leave everyone in the dust so to speak.* She stopped in front of him and smiled waiting for his answer.

As Alex walked on, the Onix slowly went back to sleep again. Farther on, a Chingling could be seen moving about on the ground. At the moment, he was looking for food and didn't even notice the man around. An Igglybuff appeared to be resting on a rock not too far off. Farther on, a Lapras was snuggling another smaller Lapras who appeared to be enjoying the snuggling and snuggling back.

In the water, a Magikarp went by rather slowly but the Feebas was more focused on the Dratini and what she was saying... thinking it over slowly and carefully. <T-that would be nice...> the Feebas answered back slowly nodding his form.

Alex kept walking on down further along the path and kept an eye out for Jasmine to make sure she was with in sight distance. At the moment he couldn't see her but he felt sure that she wasn't too far off. He turned to Evangeline and said, "I'm sure she will be back soon and perhaps she has made a new friend and they will want to come along with us." The ghastly just turned her head and made a rather large smile and said, *Ghaasttlly!* He smiled and turned his attention back to the path and noticed a little chingling walking across the path and not too far away from it was a little igglybuff taking a nap on a rock which was really cute. Though they were both interesting pokemon they weren't what he was looking for. Then all of a sudden he saw two lapras up ahead snuggling one another. They appeared to be parent and child which made one of those moments when people say awwwww! Finally he had found what he had been searching for and he was incredibly eager to go over and talk with them. He started to walk faster to them with Evangeline keeping up with him from behind. As he approached the two he started to slow down and raised his hand. "Hello there my name is Alex." he pointed to Evangeline, "And this hear is Evangeline." Evangeline floated up to the larger lapras and said, *Hello its nice to meet you.* with a big smile across her huge floating head.

Meanwhile under the water Jasmine was having a conversation with the feebas about joining her and Alex. She let out a little cry of joy and began to swim around the pokemon, *I'm so happy, now i will have another friend to play with and the best thing is you can swim with me too.* She stopped in front of him again and said, *come on and lets go see Alex I'm sure he will be glad to meet you too.* She stayed next too him not wanting to make him feel bad if she were to dart ahead of him like his friends had.

The sudden call of sorts pulled the larger Lapras's attention away, and she slowly turned her head to one side to stare at the man that was quickly approaching. A good deal of fear came to her features as he drew closer still, and she slowly slid the smaller Lapras to one side making to stay in between Alex and her child. The smaller Lapras looked confused for a few seconds before turning his head to one side and staring at the human that had approached. He had never seen such a being before and was actually rather intrigued at the moment. The larger Lapras slowly made a quiet hum sound at Alex as he introduced himself. "Pras," she answered back in a sort of wary return greeting. She wasn't too trusting of humans, really. They had attacked before, and she wasn't a fan of such especially with her baby there.

The Feebas smiled a little and then nodded his form in a general 'ok' before following after Jasmine. Though he was going up stream now so to speak, the Feebas did his best to keep up.

Her movements told Alex that she was very wary of his sudden presence and he didn't want to frighten her at all. He lowered his hand and laid it too his side so he wouldn't make her nervous. He looked at her and her child and they were incredible creatures and they had always fascinated him. He began to wish that he had Frost or Snowdrift out with him right now since they were very good at convincing pokemon to join him with out having to fight. However right now he couldn't reach for them without making her angry and having her either leave or worse attack. He knew from experience that mother pokemon protecting their young are incredibly dangerous. He cleared his throat and gazed at her for a moment and then said, "I'm not going to hurt you or your child, trust me I could never bring harm to such an amazing and beautiful creature." He looked at her child and smiled, "Is he yours, from what i could tell he must love you a lot and vice versa." Evangeline at this moment was just floating around all of them trying to get a better look at the mother and child all the while with her big sort of creepy smile.

While this was happening Jasmine and the feebas were heading toward where Alex and Evangeline were conversing with a mother lapras and her child. Jasmine had popped her head out of the water to locate her trainer and she located him not too far off. She went back down and swam along side the little guy. She smiled at him and said, *Don't worry about trying to keep up we can take as long as you want. I'm in no real hurry and i don't want you to over work yourself before we get to him.* She petted him on the head with her tail while smiling all the while.

Alex's initial motions calmed the mother down considerably though she still kept both eyes on him staring at him in a calm but wary way. His words cooled her even more. Given her species, she knew human speech well enough though wasn't about to try and convey anything back to him in his language. "Pris..." she hummed a little more softly than before, and a quieter smile came to her face at Alex's question. Nodding her head slowly, she let out a "lap" sound before turning her head a little and brushing up against the smaller Lapras who beamed a little before a quiet laugh escaped. As his eyes caught sight of the Gastly, the smaller Lapras stared at the ghost creature with quite a bit of interest. "Lapras~" he called in greeting.

A nervous and sort of embarrassed blush came to the Feebas's face, but he nodded his head once. <O-ok... I think I'm good though, thanks> he smiled a little doing his best to keep his dignity of sorts. As they finally learned Alex, the Feebas slowly came up out of the water and stared off towards the man that was still on the land.

Alex smiled at the two pokemon as he watched them touch and show affection for one another. It made him feel all warm inside, as he stood there he could see Evangeline floating around them smiling. She stopped in front of the young lapras after he had given her a greeting. She gave him another smile and said, *Hello there little one.* She wished she could pet the little guy on the head but sadly she was lacking arms and hands. Alex turned his attention to the mother pokemon and cleared his throat again, "I know what I'm about to ask is out of the blue and everything but i need to ask you somthing. I would like for you and your son there to join me and travel with me. I promise to take good care of you and your son and provide food and anything else that you need. Also this will be a good chance for both of you to get out of this cave and see the world for yourselves and see how big and beautiful it really is." He stood there and bowed before the mother and said, "Please will you?"

Jasmine and the feebas had finally caught up to where Alex was and had listened to the conversation. She came out of the water and stood next too him. *Oh please will you come with us. He's a really good person and i would love to be able to play with you and your son. I just love to make new friends, like my little friend here the feebas.* She turned to where he was in the water and smiled at him.

The young Lapras smiled up at the Gastly and turned his head from one side to another as though inspecting her, and he was, really. He had never seen such a pokemon before, and it was actually quite interesting for his young eyes. <What are you?> he asked after a moment in a sort of innocent notion of curiosity.

The mother Lapras stared at Alex with what appeared to be a blank but mildly startled expression. What? That was certainly out of the blue, but at least he hadn't attacked her or something. Looking at her son before looking back at Alex, she stared at him with calm eyes as she thought this over. <Pras> she she hummed thinking the boy's words over more.

It wasn't that the cavern wasn't gorgeous, and it certainly wasn't that she wasn't happy there. However, there had been a few food gathering issues here and there. However, the Lapras was unsure of whether or not she would be willing to give up such things on what felt like a whim of sorts. She liked her freedom, thank you very much. However, there was also the possibility that she wouldn't always be able to provide everything her baby needed... She wasn't trusting enough to simply jump into a pokeball, but after a few seconds when the Dratini had made her appearance and plea, she seemed to come to some sort of conclusion. "Lapras," she answered back before making a motion for Alex to follow before starting down a rather interesting bend in the cavern.

The son turned his head at his mother's short words and then started after her rather quickly.

The Feebas smiled but was forced to stay in the water when the Dratini got out. Watching as she moved away, he frowned a little worriedly. He couldn't really get out of the water like she could .x.

Alex watched as the Lapras and her child began to go down a bend along the tunnel. She had motioned for him to follow and as he started Jasmine grabbed his pants leg and motioned toward the little feebas sitting in the water staring at him. He smiled and patted Jasmine on the head, "Hey did you make a little friend while you were searching for me?" She smiled and let out a little hum as he petted her on the head. He walked over to the edge of the water and smiled down at the little pokemon. "Hey if you want too come with us your more than welcome too." He laid a pokeball down on ground near where it could reach it. "Hurry up though cause i would like to catch up with the two Lapras." He motioned toward the two who seemed to be waiting on him to follow them down the tunnel.

The Feebas blinked at Alex as he moved forwards and then set the pokeball down. Smiling a little, he did his best to get as close as possible before actually pressing the ball and disappearing inside. The pokeball itself rang out in capture without any sort of struggle what so ever. It seemed that he was ready to go, heh.

Gender: Male
Ability: Swift Swim
Personality: An easy going and generally kind pokemon, this Feebas may not be the strongest but his charming demeanor is easy to be around. He's very bashful especially when someone takes an interest in him, but he is innocent enough to not realize any sort of sexual connotations or motions resembling actual love. He enjoys swimming as most water pokemon do, but more than that he enjoys racing through the water especially when it's some sort of competition. That being said, he doesn't naturally seek fame because of it and is actually prone to getting nervous when someone spotlights him.

Meanwhile, the mother Lapras was leading onwards moving through the cave with an easy slow demeanor before she finally came to what she had been looking for- a large inlet less than half full of fish, as in the animal. Making a gesture with her head towards the fish, the Lapras called out her name yet again asking if Alex wanted some. She was willing to share a meal before she was willing to sign her life away. Meanwhile, the younger Lapras blinked before quickly understanding. Moving forwards, he fished out one of the fish and went over towards Alex offering it forwards.

Alex picked up the pokeball and put it inside of his backpack before running after the two Lapras. He followed them for a short while until they entered into a large inlet with a bunch of fish. He watched as the mother began eating some fish from the pond while the small one approached him with a fish making a gesture for him to take it. He took the fish from the little one and stared at it for a second, he thought to himself, "I really, really don't want to eat this raw, but maybe they will be satisfied if i just eat a little bit and give the rest too Jasmine and Evangeline." He slowly brought the fish to his mouth and took a bite out of it. The taste was a little difficult to describe, the only thing that he could come up with was the obvious and that was very fishy tasting. He managed to swallow the rest of it down and took the rest of the fish and divided it into two pieces and gave one to Jasmine and the other too Evangeline who both enjoyed it. He took out Jasmine's and Evangeline's pokeballs and returned them so they could get a little rest before sitting down with his legs crossed. He watched both of them while they ate and took the time to look over there bodies and see different things about them like the mother would have more spots on one side than her baby and stuff like that.

Whether he knew it or not, the mother Lapras was actually watching very carefully to see how Alex would react to the fish. She knew that humans usually didn't eat the things raw, though how she knew this she would never admit, and she was waiting to see him reject it. However, when he did in fact accept it and take a few bites before giving the rest to his pokemon, she found herself amused. He was willing to play and be decent as if she hadn't already seen that in the words exchanged but still. She was a creature of carefulness by nature, and who could blame her when her species was threatened the way it was. The younger Lapras broke out into a squeak of joy at the fact that the man had taken up the fish and leaned backwards enough to somehow manage to clap his long fins together. After a moment, he scooted forwards and ended up all but glomping Alex... which may or may not cause damage all things considered.

Alex watched as the young Lapras lifted its self up and started clapping and making cute squeaks of joy. He smiled back at him and was about too say something when all of a sudden he was tackled by the little guy. Needless to say he wasn't prepared to be hugged by him at all. He was knocked flat on his back by the sheer weight of him, thankfully he was still young and not as heavy as his mother. If he had been he might have broken a few ribs but fortunately that didn't happen. Alex lifted his self up a bit from the ground and started petting him on the head. "Hey little guy i don't mind you hugging me but how about a little warning next time alright." He smiled and started scratching him under the chin, he didn't know if he would like that or not but from his experience with his other pokemon they seemed to love it. He looked up at the mother and said, "You have a good kid here."

The younger Lapras grinned as he knocked into the human and succeeded in tackling him down. After a moment, he drove his head into the young man's shoulder 'purring deep in his throat. At Alex's words, he blinked a moment before giving a little nod. Sure he'd warn him next time... maybe. The scratch under the chin elicited another purr of sorts, and one could have thought the large water type was some sort of cat. After a moment, he leaned forwards and licked Alex on the cheek happily. The larger mother just smiled to herself, and at Alex's comment she allowed a soft but deep laugh to escape from her. It was actually very amusing to her, and the fact that the young man didn't retaliate assured her that he at least had a sense of humor. After a moment, she slid forwards and nudged Alex herself.

Listening to the young Lapras purr put a smile across his face, he was already starting to grow attached to the little guy and his mom. Though he wasn't prepared to be licked by him, however he knew that it was just away of showing affection and even though it was cold and a little stinky from the fish he just ate it made him happy none the less. Alex laughed and petted the little guy on the head as the mother nudged him with her head. He lifted his hand up and gently rubbed the side of her head and began scratching under her chin as well. He really enjoyed just sitting there and playing with the both of them and he could have done so for hours if he could. He stopped petting them and used his sleeve to wipe some of the saliva off the side of his face. Once he had gotten most of it off he stood up and carefully and gently reached out to the mother and held her face in his hands and put his forehead up against hers. "Thank you for sharing your food with me and letting me play with the both of you." He lifted his head back up and stood there smiling. "I hope that i have your trust now and that you will consider coming with me on my adventure. I know that you would be giving up your freedom and i realize that but i would be so honored to have you both become apart of my family and not just my pokemon." He once again bowed his head in front of the mother.

The Lapras closed her eyes and smiled gingery at Alex as she listened to him speak. Honestly she was really considering it now, especially with as gentle as the man was. After a moment, she slid her head forwards in a graceful nod. Yes, she would go with him. The baby Lapras in question watched with expectancy up until his mother confirmed that they could go, and a shrill cry of excitement almost resembling a chirp of a bird pokemon escaped from him. They were going on an adventure then!

He watched as the mother Lapras gave a gentle nod to his question and he felt extreme excitement well up inside him. He couldn't hold it in any longer and he finally jumped in the air and let out a shout, "Alright!" He settled back down and gently petted the two of them on the head. "Thank you for trusting me, I'll make sure to take good care of the both of you." He opened his backpack and took out two Great balls out and placed them in front of them. "Alright all you have to do is touch the end of that ball and we can get out of here and start this adventure." He waited on the two of them too push the tiny button on the edge of the pokeball.
