Justice looked at Seles as she looked around and said she saw something. Justice then started to follow holding Zarah close to her trying to help keep her pokemon as warm as she could. Though it may have been best to return Zarah to her ball.. But Zarah was also helping Justice stay warm if only just a little. Justice watched as Duke ran ahead of them to make sure everything was alright. Poe stayed by Justice's side and hoped they would be able to get out of this cold soon, After a moment Justice was able to see the house. " Whats a house doing all the way out here?" Justice said out loud but more to herself then anything.

Upon coming to the actual hut/house figure that was definitely some sort of man-made structure, Seles slowly looked up at it before walking around trying to find the entrance. "I heard rumors once that savages lived in the jungle... never thought it was true until well..." she broke off when Duke's voice hit her ears instead.
"Young Misses, I believe I have found the entrance, though it seems abandoned at the moment for some reason," Duke called out from one side of the hut before making a motion inside. Seles hesitated a moment and found herself drawing her sword despite the fact that she honestly doubted she would need it. As she finally stepped in, Seles gave the small one-room a look over before finally looking back at Justice. "It's better than nothing..." she mumbled to herself before walking inwards. Meanwhile, Duke made a bow and waited for Justice to enter before suddenly melding away from his previous form and becoming a blue shimmering Ditto. Reforming himself to fit the door space, the Ditto chuckled a little. "Well now, I feel useful," he laughed slightly. |

Justice saw Seles grab for her sword. That sent alarm though the young girl. She hoped there was nothing wrong.. Though nothing seemed to be the matter and Justice relaxed again. When they got to the house, Justice waited a moment as Seles looked inside. She did not looked to pleased but went in and Justice followed. Yeah, Seles was right it was not much but would get then out of the cold. When inside Justice stood there and blinked when Duke turned into his true form and then used his body to block the door. A flash of worry went though Justice eyes and she walked over to Duke. " Duke? Are you going to be ok covering the door? Wont you be cold?" Justice asked in a worried voice. Poe looked up at Justice. "Pi pi pikachu" " He will be alright" Poe said trying reassure his trainer though he knew full well she could not understand him. Zarah snuggled into Justice then looked at Duke, she knew he was going to be fine.

For a brief moment, Duke's expression waned, yet after that, he laughed lightly and offered a smile in return for Justice's doubt. "Never fear, m'lady. I am actually very durable and as a pokemon, I'm naturally stronger against the weather than you humans are," he smiled. "I shall be fine, no worries." he stated. Seles looked back at Duke for a moment before turning fully around and slowly pulled out the pokeball she wished to use. Releasing a rather large fluffy Arcanine, Seles made a motion. "Gabriel, can you help us keep warm?" she asked. As if he needed a reason to cuddle! Gabriel's eyes lit up and he quickly lay down and made playful noises of sorts. Seles sighed and smiled lightly before sitting up next to her large fire hound. He was much better insulator, at least. Looking towards Justice, Seles hesitated a moment before patting the ground next to her pretty well asking the young woman to sit down. |

Justice nodded and smiled at Duke;s words. She just could not help but worry about him at first. When Justice heard the sounds if Seles calling out a pokemon, She turned to look and ended up giving a small gasp and backed into a wall. It...It was a fire type. Not that Justice hated them... It just they brought back memories that Justice tries so hard to forget. Justice's face paled a little, she saw Seles pat the floor next to her, inviting her to sit down but Justice stayed standing her back to the wall. " Oh no.. Not again!" >.< Zarah said. " Pikachu pika!" >.<;;; " Aww man, Justice please calm down!" Poe said as he stood up and put a paw on Justice;s leg. Zarah looked over at Duke with a sad sigh. " She fears fire... And fire types remind her of something bad..." Zarah said.

The confused look that registered on Seles's face was mirrored in that of Dukes obscure expression, yet as the explanation was given, the Ditto understood at least and quickly translated. "A distaste for fire, it seems," he sighed shaking his head slowly. Seles blinked again and turned her head to one side before slowly standing up and making the short way over to Justice. Standing between her large fire dog and the young woman she had only met a bit ago, Seles shook her haed slightly. "Didn't meet o scare you, but his fur is really warm," she sated making a gesture over to Gabriel whose ears perked at the motion towards him. "He doesn't have any open flames, and he won't shoot any fire while I'm around. Promise," she smiled. Duke blinked a tad startled. It was rare for Seles to promise anyone anything, and well... ._.' wow... heh... |

Justice looked at the Arcanine, she thought it looked like a nice pokemon... heck she would love to to just sit down and cuddle with it.. But.. But something always makes her panic when she sees a fire type... It was that blasted memory of that mysterious fire she was somehow trapped in when only five years old.. It put a block on her for those cute fire types.. She could not help it.. And those nightmares and flash backs did not help eather... When Seles came up to her Justice shifted her eyes over to her. As Seles spoke, Justice bit her lip and then nodded when Seles said that the fire type was warm and would not shoot out fire.
" O..Ok." Was Justice's soft response. Justice then forced her legs to start moving and made her way over to the fire type. Before sitting down Justice closed her eyes, sucked in air then breathed out. She then turned and sat down next to the Arcanine and scooted into it. Justice felt how warm his fur was and smiled. She then closed her eyes and started to pet him. Closing her eyes was the only way she could pet or hug a fire type. " So soft~" Justice cooed. Poe layed down next to Justice though he was still worried she would be in pain again form nightmares and those flash backs.. And Zarah again snuggled into her trainer.

Seles smiled a little when Justice nodded and went over to Gabriel. The Arcanine in question almost purred at having a new person up against his fur and ended up turning his head slightly and licking Justice before setting his head down again. After a moment, Seles had sat down as well and sighed outwards. If anything Gabriel was warm and would provide a bit more insulation to this hut... or just expel his own heat and warm up the area. Either way. "You doing ok, Duke?" Seles called. The Ditto just chuckled to himself and nodded. Sighing, Seles leaned backwards on Gabriel. "Good," she finished for a brief moment before looking sideways at Justice. "So you were at boarding school all this time?" she asked wondering if Justice had even been exposed to the war. It was an odd thought to think she hadn't but... |

Justice let out a soft giggle when Gabriel licked her. When Seles asked if she had been in boarding school all this time, the young girl nodded. " Yes, I started when I was only five years old. Shortly after I was adopted into my family.I never really got to know my father but I had Miguel so I was not lonely. Though sometimes at school I did feel alone... Had no one I could feel I could talk to. But that's life in a boarding school I guess. Now that I have graduated I can see my brother again. That's the reason I'm out here. I did want to take him from his work.. He may be very busy now... After... after the bombings.. I saw it on the TV a week ago.. But I could not leave at that time. Well when I get to the castle I will help in anyway I can. Even a little bit would make me happy." justice said with a smile. Though the best part about going to the castle for Justice was being with her brother once again.

There was something rare in Justice that Seles hadn't seen in a while: a honesty that she was sure had been squashed by the fall of the country. However, Justice was also sheltered it seemed, and thus, Seles was sure that had a good deal to do with it. After a moment, she nodded her head slowly. "I see... " she answered back slowly looking forwards as her face fell somewhat. "I can't believe some fool would do such a thing... especially with so many lives taken," she sighed quietly.
That was one of the few times she had gone home in a while. The attacks were enough to cause Seles to worry about her family, and she finally gave in from her search for a brief moment and came home to make sure everyone was alright. Thankfully, her house was far from the commercial district, and thus, her family had not been injured in the least. That being said, though she would have preferred to stay and distribute aid, Seles only found herself growing more restless and pressing to find Ieri or the Queen. She needed them. The country needed them, damn it.
Realizing that she had fallen silent, Seles blinked and looked sideways at Justice. "You seem rather strong," she smiled a little. She meant emotionally given Justice didn't look physically stocky or anything of that general nature and Seles hadn't ever seen what she could do, if anything.
Duke sighed quietly to himself and closed his eyes wishing that he had a way of comforting Seles more. She was too strong for her own good and wouldn't even allow herself to cry, and this worried the Ditto greatly. |

Justice nodded when Seles said something about the evil person who set up the attack. Though Justice said nothing out loud about it. When Seles seemed to get lost in thought justice then reached behind her and took out her kendo sword and set it down on the floor and then also put her bag down in front of her. She reached in and took out her sketch pad and a pencil, she opened her sketch pad to a empty page and started to draw. Though soon after she did that Seles spoke up again and gave Justice a complement. That made the young girl blush a little and she smiled back at Seles. " Thanks, I th- Justice cut her self off and her eyes grew wide and flashed with fear. Due to seeing a fire type the memories that lay forgotten where now awaking. In Justice's minds eye Seles was no longer there, nether where Duke, Zarah and Poe. Justice was five years old again and trapped in a room full of flames. Justice paled a ghostly white. F...F... FIRE!!" Justice screamed, she then got up dropping her things along with poor Zarah. Justice them made a run for the door but was blocked by Duke and in her flash back that just made it so the door was locked to she started to pound the door/Duke tears running down her cheeks. " HELP!! CAN ANYONE HERE ME!! THE ROOM IS ON FIRE! PLEASE HELP!!" Justice cried out at the top of her lungs. Zarah and Poe ran over to Justice and started to try to snap her out of it. " Pika!! pi pi pikachu!!" " Its not real Justice!! Snap out of it!" Poe cried out. " Skitty skit!" " Calm down Justice! Your safe! There is no fire!" Zarah said.
Though at the moment their cries went unheard. Justice was lost in the vision of the the fiery room.

Seles's eyes initially closed as she found the young woman before her had started to take up drawing. However, the sudden shout was enough to startle her and caused her to sit up straight off of Gabriel whose own muscles tightened in confusion. "Nine?" he asked, yet he received no exact answer for Seles too was on her feet.
Duke, poor Duke, was being smacked and pounetd on, and his face contorted into confusion as he continued to be smacked. "Ow ow ow m'lady m'lady that hurts!" he called but didn't seem to be heard. Seles, meanwhile, had taken a quick few steps and made to seize Justice's wrists in an effort to keep her from continuing to smack Duke.
"Justice. Justice! Stop," Seles ordered trying to pull the girl back and make her calm down. |

Justice did not hear Seles or poor Duke as they spoke. Though when Seles made a grab for Justice's wrists, she was able to pull her away from pounding on poor Duke, though Justice was still lost in the vision of the the fiery room. She struggled to get free from what she felt was a invisible force trying to escape. Justice had her eyes tightly closed as she tried to free her self from Seles.
" Fire!! I need to get out!!" Justice cried out. Poe stood there helpless as did Zarah, they had no idea what to do.. Normally when this happened Justice was around close friends or with her brother. But then an idea come to her, Serena!! Serena had been with Justice all her life and knew everything that has happned to the poor girl. Serena often said she knows who's Justice's real family was and the girl Justice drew and dreamed of sometimes. Now if she could only get to Serena's pokeball.. ._.;;; And then Zarah tried to make a jump for the ball but failed the first try.

Seles continued to hold Justice's wrists and ended up pulling her into a slightly awkward side hug trying to hold her still without physically hurting her. As Zarah had tried to jump, Seles found herself confused and didn't understand the pokemon's intentions at all. Thus, she focused on the human she was still hodling. "Justice," she repeated a bit stronger than before. "Calm down there is no fire at the moment. Calm down," she continued on trying to get the girl to calm down again. Meanwhile, Duke looked towards Poe and Zarah in a confused manner and coughed a little before looking back.
"Miss, there is not a fire going at the moment," the Ditto spoke as though this would somehow help the situation. Well he was trying at least :/ |

When Seles pulled Justice into a side hug she still struggled a little to get free but not as hard as before. Still not hearing Seles or Duke though the hold of the vision was starting to weaken. " Pi?" Poe asked and looked at Sarah. Zarah looked at Poe and said, Justice needs Serena, I'm trying to get to her pokeball!" Zarah said and she jumped up a few times trying to see where Serena's pokeball was but was having a hard time spotting it now. " Gahh! Where did it go?" Zarah said in a frustrated tone. Poe nodded and started to look to, he hoped they would find it soon. Poe hated to see Justice cry. D:
Mama.. Papa.." Justice said softly though sadly she would forget she those words and forget the memory that just showed its self in her mind.

Seles didn't release Justice and instead stood there still holding the younger girl. However, the last few words that escaped from Justice caused Seles to frown quietly. "Justice... Justice relax...relax...." she sighed a bit more tender now than she had been previously. Meanwhile, Gabriel had risen to his feet looking around as he heard the other pokemon's words. Finding the pokeball under him, he rolled it over towards Zarah and Poe. <Here it is! I found it!> he barked quickly before his ears folded back and he fell silent again realizing this wasn't exactly the perfect time to be happy just yet. |

Justice then went limp and just started to out right cry, She was slowly coming out of it but she was still trapped. When Gabriel said he found it, Zarah looked at him with a huge smile. " thank you Gabriel!" Zarah smiled and ran over to the fire pokemon and then she reached for the pokeball, she then activated it then pushed the button to call out Serena. With a flash of light she came out, at first she had her eyes closed then she slowly opened them. She saw Justice crying and knew what that meant. She then walked closer to her trainer, "Togekiss.. Toge. Serena said softly. At hearing Serena's voice Justice paused, her mind was now freeing her, after a few moments the fiery room faded away and she could see Seles and the others again. Though she had now forgotten what she remembered about her Mom and dad, she knew what just happened. Justice then pulled away from Seles and looked at everyone in the room.
" Serena..." Justice said softly then she looked at Seles with teary eyes. " S..Seles.. I.. I... I'm sorry." She then looked over at Duke and now knew the door she had been hitting was him. Justice teared up even more. " Duke.. Oh my goodness.. I.. I'm so sorry." Justice said softly.

As Justice finally came out of whatever was happening, Seles released her and watched as the girl went over to her newly formed Togekiss. It was getting somewhat tight in the small room, yet for now things were already. Seles breathed out quietly and stepped back a bit before looking apologetically at Gabriel who simply nodded in understanding. Returning her fire dog, Seles sighed and looked back towards Justice. "It's alright," she mused a little quietly before Justice addressed Duke who only half smiled a little.
Shaking his head, the Ditto simply continued to smile. "Fear not, gentle lady, things are alright," he reassured her with an easy smile on his face though in this Ditto form it was somewhat comical in some respects. After a moment, he looked towards the Togekiss. "As long as you are alright now," Duke finished. Seles looked towards the Togekiss and couldn't help but stare at the pokemon. It was a strong pokemon,, oddly enough, but also a gentle one by nature, wasn't it? Heh.... |

Even though Seles and Duke said everything was alright, Justice still felt really bad. She hated those flash backs and the nightmares she has.. They always seem so real that she can't see those around her when they happen.. And this time she hurt someone. TT_TT Zarah and Poe looked up at Justice and spoke softly wanting her to hug them. Justice got what they wanted so she sat down and hugged her two small pokemon when they both jumped into her lap. Serena looked at Seles and Duke when they looked at her. She wanted to give them a scolding look but thought better of it. They did not know about Justice's issues with fire until now. So Serena just nodded in greeting and with one wing hugged Justice the best she could is such a small room. Justice felt safe with her beloved pokemon around her, she looked up and gave a weak smile to Serena. She felt better now so she picked up Serena's pokeball and returned her.
Justice then looked at Seles, but then she looked down and off to the side, as if she could not meet Seles's eyes. This was something Justice did not like others to see.. She could not even breing her self to look at Duke, he got the worst of that ordeal. Justice then fell silent as tears where still running down her cheeks.

Seles sighed quietly, crossed her arms, and leaned back on Duke who was still merged as a sort of door. "Are you alright, m'lady?" Duke asked lquietly ooking mildly worriedly at Seles who simply shook her head quietly. It had been such an odd experience, and it raised so many questions to Seles that she was unsure if she even wanted to ask. What exactly had triggered such a thing even? One moment she seemed completely calm and alright with Gabriel and then the next she was panicking again if not worse than she had been before. It didn't add up in her mind, but she was unsure if she wanted to open the exact can of worms.
Closing her eyes, Seles came to a decision and stepped forwards again. After she was less than a foot or so away from Justice, Seles sat down and slowly reached a hand up to the girl's face making to brush a few stray tears away... that was if Justice hadn't already moved her head or something of hat nature, of course. She didn't speak, but her expression was calm and far form any sort of expression of aggression. Though she didn't understand, Seles wasn't about o leave a girl in tears if she could help it. |
