"Yes..." he murmured quietly after that not able to actually find anything else to say. The sudden slam of the door was enough to take Felis's attention away for a moment and he found himself staring at a white haired man. Blinking confused, Felis looked at Elayne and then at Ferd in a sort of questioning way wondering who this person was, exactly. Looking back towards the man as Elayne asked a question, Felis found his hand reaching up and setting itself on the back of his neck. "Hello," he smiled after a moment. [/scrolly]

What was this weird feeling he got? It was like he had seen the man before, but he didn't know the man's name or anything about him. Upon seeing the man staring back at himself, he found even more confusion appearing. "H-hello...." he mutters lowly to himself. "Um... you..." Ferd had the thought in his head, but he was getting so worked up over everything. He could hardly remember it anyways, but he was trying to force it with so many people and things going on around him.. he found everything blurring and starting to go black. Poor Ferd was going to pass out. [/scrolly]

There was a hello from the tall blond man Adam didn’t recognize but he ignored it. He didn’t even take the effort to nod or look at Felis. His eyes simply stayed glued to Ferd. As Elayne spoke, Adam actually felt a little annoyed, though he didn’t show it on his face. Instead he turned his head towards her and gave a small smile before slowly shacking his head. No, she couldn’t help him. No one could, really.

Soon enough, Adam had returned his gaze to Ferd. Adam still wasn’t sure if Ferd remembered him or not, as Ferd’s words didn’t really help much. Ferd just simply looked… well rather crapy. It was kind of amusing though Adam knew better than to show he was amused. Instead he gave a rather saddened expression and nodded his head. Him. Yes, he had saved Ferd. From the looks of the other two, he had picked a good man to save as well but it also meant one other thing… it wouldn’t be beneficial to play with Ferd like a lion did to a mouse. How bothersome really. It had sounded like so much fun. Well, he would have other fun.

Letting out a small sigh, Adam padded his own arm, before closing his eyes and shacking his head. When his eyes opened again, he looked over to Felis and Elayne. “Sorry. He spoke very quietly, apologizing for Ferds missing arm. Adam really couldn’t care less about the missing arm… well that wasn’t fully true. He would have loved to find the arm, but it hadn’t been anywhere near the body. None the less, the act of the innocent boy with the sad attempt to save another boys life was an act he could play well. After all, just looking at him often caused pity from others.

To be honest this man gave her a rather uneasy feeling ... but then he had suddenly ran into the room and slammed the door behind him so that was to be expected. Glancing at Felis as he simply said 'hello' to the man that had so suddenly walked into Ferd's room, Elayne looked back at Ferd to see how he was doing. Hearing Ferd speak to the strange man that had entered the room only served to make Elayne confused ... did Ferd ... know this man ... but how ... ? Looking back at Ferd, Elayne saw that the boy was looking rather tired and moved towards Ferd's side and gently brushed a lock of hair away from his face. "You should rest ... ,"Elayne said in a gentle voice,"Don't worry ... we'll still be here when you wake up ... ,"she continued in a reassuring voice. Of course 'we'll' meant herself and Felis but her statement could have included the stranger as well. Elayne was so busy focusing on Ferd at the moment that she missed Adam's gesture completely, though she did glance back at the man when he said sorry but only for a brief moment before Ferd reclaimed her attention.[/scrolly]

Felis sweat dropped considerably at Adam's gesture and comment and honestly couldn't fit anything together that logically made any sense at the moment. The thought that Adam had saved his little brother didn't quite reach Feliciano's mind, and thus, all he really received was that Adam was somehow coming to say sorry for Ferd's arm. Instead of immediately replying, the blond sort of just stood there for a few seconds rubbing the back of his neck before looking towards Ferd who was paling more than usual before looking back at Adam again. "Uh... yeah...." he mumbled after a few seconds looking towards Ferd's missing arm and mentally frowning. Prosthetic legs weren't as hard to replace as an arm would be... or at least this was what Felis thought. He wasn't one that could make such things anyways, but he had already promised Ferd he would find someone who knew.... "D-do you know my little brother or...?" Felis asked after a few moments returning his gaze to Adam. He had not seen the man at all, and with the actions and whatnot that had just transpired it was a little... well odd ._.; though Felis didn't want it to be odd...but... yeah. [/scrolly]

It almost looked like the boy was going to pass out. Such a weak boy this little brother was. None the less, it was starting to look like Adam had hit a jackpot. This ‘older brother’ or so Adam assumed was older, looked rather wealthy as well. Better dressed than even Ferd was. Then again, Ferd was covered in rubble and ash when Adam had found him. Then there was this girl… she didn’t look like a sister with her hair, but she could be. There was no reason a mother couldn’t have blond and brown haired children. After all, she kind of had a similar cheekbone. Anyway… The older boy had spoken. Adam quickly nodded his head ‘Yes‘ when Felis asked if he knew Ferd, however his nods came to a sudden stop as a small “Ahhh…” came from his throat. With that, his pale blue eyes slowly moved to the window for a moment before he returned his gaze to Felis and slowly shook his head. He didn’t really know Ferd. He had met him once but… well Ferd wasn’t really coherent from what Adam could remember. What was the best way to explain this? Oh! Perhaps words could help! “I met him. He was sleeping.” Adam finally spoke in a very small, timid voice, “Under the broken building.” Yes, that would probably explain it. He had met Ferd but Ferd perhaps didn’t meet him. Yet before Adam could check if Felis understood, scuffling sounds of the busy hall outside caused Adam to jump. Next thing he knew, he was racing to hide behind Felis, his eyes glued on the door. [/size]Elayne whispered in Felis' ear before hearing Felis ask Adam how he knew Ferd. Upon hearing Adam's explanation, Elayne's eyes grew wide and she put a hand over her mouth to cover a soft gasp at the realization that this man in front of them had rescued Ferd. Elayne was about to say something to Adam in regards to this new knowledge when the man suddenly attempted to hide behind Felis. ........ well .... that was interesting ...... what could the man possibly be hiding from in a hospital ... .[/scrolly][/td][/tr][/table][/center]

"I'm fine..." he mumbled though the tone of his voice pretty well expressed that he wasn't. As if enough blood hadn't already drained form his face from all the stress of the entire predicament, Felis paled even more as Adam explained what had happened. So this was the man that had saved Ferd... when Felis wasn't-... when he wasn't... able to.... Blue eyes shook for a few seconds before refocusing on Adam. Though he would have said some sort of 'thank you' or something, the door handle had slowly turned, and Adam's reaction was enough to leave Felis confused. Looking back before looking forwards as a nurse walked in, Felis found not the face of Miranda whom he would have expected but a rather different face all together. The woman's attire was certainly that of a nurse, regardless, but the expression on her face was less than the standard demeanor that they normally strove to put on. "Exscuse me, I'm looking for a young man with white hair and---" she stopped a moment upon catching sight of something behind Felis. Turning her head slowly as though trying to see around him, she quickly returned her head to the upright position. "And I believe he is standing behind you." She stated flatly before putting her hands on her hips. Felis was quiet for a brief moment before managing to catch something to say. "Excuse me, ma'am, but why are you looking for him?" he asked forcing a gentle smile. The woman hesitated for a moment and managed a better smile back. Wait wasn't that the-- oh dear... yes it was the Duke and here I was just barging into this room and.... The nurse was quite literally melting at her own thoughts by now and fell completely silent.
