Blissful Moments (Caden/Mod)

Upon re-finding his, Jayme wasn't about to break off from Caden again, and thus, after they had talked a bit, he had somewhat awkwardly suggested that they go out to Harmony Woods one day for lunch or something. Caden had seemed fine with this, and thus, after a day or two, Jayme had packed up a lunch Feliciano had made for himself and Caden and was now walking into the Harmony Woods with the basket holding their food on his shoulder.

Looking sideways at his friend as he walked, Jayme smiled a bit. "Have you ever been out this way before?" he asked though honestly he already assumed that Caden had, for whatever reason........ It was popular because of its peacefulness, and this was what Jayme finally convinced him that this was what it was. After he received whatever answer had been given, the pink haired young man nodded and looked forwards again as they both reached a clearing of sorts where the foliage was less dense, and one could see the rolling terrain along with a few scant trees that almost appeared to have some sort of wood working to them: tree houses? They certainly looked like it.

Breaking into a rather large grin, Jayme laughed a little. "I've been here a few times before... but every time I see it, it's so ...." Jayme couldn't find the word he was looking for, and thus, he settled into silence.

"I've come through here but I've never really gotten to enjoy myself as much as I want to. ^_^ I'm glad we get to come here." Caden says rather happily as they go. He had forgotten all about that stupid man with the glass for a few days so he was good unless it was brought back up. He listened to Jayme and grinned. "It's like you've never been here before, every time you come back.. you just feel like it's your first time there, but you know you've been there. It's never boring, like some places, right?" Caden says rather happily, finishing Jayme's sentence for him. Caden was so happy when they got there and looked around happily. Tree houses, swings, and fun everywhere the eye could see! He couldn't wait to see what kind of pkoemon he could meet here. They had to be adorable~ [/scrolly]

"Yeah just like that," he agreed before starting to walk through the area. As his eyes caught sight of a swing hanging from a tree, Jayme made a motion over to it. "Hey! Go sit down and I'll push you," he said making a motion to the swing as a full explanation of what he meant. [/scrolly]

Near both Caden and Jayme their was a Spoink that seemed to be enjoying itself by just bouncing up and down in circles around the area he was in. It seemed to be oblvious to the outside as if the two were looking at it it defintely wasn't paying attention or even noticing them.

Farther behind the two their seemed to be something quietly following them but it was obviously trying to stay hidden as if they turned to see what it was it would hide again but stayed in close pursuit.

Farther ahead of the group a frantic cry from something could be heard as what looked like an Igglybuff was running away from...a Shiny Noctowl? It seemed to be chasing the tiny pink ball-like pokemon with a hungry look on it's face.

"Yea- he starts, but suddenly noticed the poor Igglybuff running for it's life. He looked back at Jayme for just a second. "We should help that Igglybuff though." he says quickly before running off towards it. He pulled out a pokeball and suddenly through out Senny, his shiny Sentret. "Senny, I know your not a big fighter, but you need to get that Noctowl away from Igglybuff, please. Use Quick Attack on the Noctowl and pick up the Igglybuff and run him away from it." Caden says rather quickly. He didn't want to fight, but he had to do something to knock some sense into that owl pokemon. He ran with Sentret but fell behind of course. Sentret flew into the owl and then picked up the Igglybuff the best he could and continued to run away. Caden got in between the two of them with another pokeball ready if needed. "Don't hurt the Igglybuff! He didn't do anything to you." Caden calls out quickly. He tried to act cool, but it was easy to see how nervous he was. He definitely wasn't the kind to always help other's, but he actually wanted to show off a bit, even if he would have helped the pokemon anyways. Saving the pokemon might make him look more cool in Jayme's eyes! Yeah! [/scrolly]

"Caden wai-..." Jayme started but by that time Caden had already started running. Shaking his head, Jayme took off after Caden and ended up coming to a stop next to Caden looking sideways at him briefly before looking back at the Noctowl. "Why were you after it anyways?" he asked looking at the Noctowl. [/scrolly]

[VEGETA]

The Noctowl saw the Sentret coming towards him with a Quick Attack and it's body glowed purple as it used Agility to help dodge the Quick Attack by increasing it's own speed to dodge the Sentret's with ease due to the fact that it had the air and evolution based advantage to it. The Igglybuff saw the two trying to defend it and so it ran over towards both Caden and Jayme with tears in it's eyes. It could be seen closer up the the Igglybuff had some sort of juice on it's face from some sort of food and also had blue stained hands. It moved over to Jayme and rubbed against him before hiding behind it's leg and giving the Noctowl a taunting look before going back to it's cutesy defenseless look.

The Noctowl glared at the two who were defending the small pink pokemon and a voice suddenly rung out in their heads telepathically <That little ball of evil just disturbed my nest and stole my food.> it said in a sharp tone of voice <So let me give it payback!> the Noctowl then shrieked and used Psychic to lift the Igglybuff closer to it who began to flail and cry out for the two boys to save it...either side with the Noctowl and let it hurt the tiny puffball...or attack the Noctowl who didn't look like he'd go down without a fight. The thing that was following them peeked it's head out at this display as it saw the events unfolding and made itself clear to be a Buneary.

So the Igglybuff did something wrong.. but it wasn't right to allow a pokemon to be hurt just because of what it might have done! "Please stop and listen! Don't hurt him! We'll work something out!" Caden calls out quickly. His Sentret was clinging onto the Igglybuff as he tried to keep it down. Too bad it was impossible to keep it down. The Sentret then let go of the poor pokemon and started to fall to the ground. He wouldn't ever let a little pokemon get hurt for any reason! He, without any instructions from Caden, unleashed a Thunderblast towards the noctowl. <Leave it alone! It isn't right to just attack a baby!> he calls out rather quickly. Caden wanted to release the pokemon he had in the pokeball he was going to throw out, but he still wasn't entirely sure if they should save a pokemon who did wrong to stop a pokemon from doing wrong. "Jayme! What do you think." Caden quickly calls out. If Jayme gave him the okay to attack the noctowl, he would release the pokemon in the pokeball out, but until then, he'd keep it in. [/scrolly]

Though he was used to psychic based telepathy due to having spent extended time around Elly and slowly starting to learn to talk with Eliot, his own Espeon, he wasn't used to other pokemon entering his noggin. Shaking his head to clear it, he found himself staring as the Igglybuff made to seek shelter with him only to be pulled away by the Noctowl. "Hey wait!" he called out only for the Sentret to suddenly start a battle of sorts. Caught between what he was going to say and the need for action, the pink haired boy found himself forced to make a quick decision. He wasn't going to let the Noctowl hurt the Igglybuff, given it was a baby pokemon. Running forwards, the pink haired boy made to snag the Igglybuff and hoped to use his weight to keep the small pink pokemon out of the air. "Caden we're going to have to fight for now." he decided. [VEGETA]

The Noctowl normally wouldn't have a problem lifting both Jayme and the Igglybuff but due to it's enhanced psychic abilities (which were above average even for a Noctowl) it knew it couldn't keep it afloat with the incoming Thundershock coming from the Sentret. So suddenly dropping it's hold on the Igglybuff and therefore Jayme, it then used Agility once more to increase it's speed even more than before and took off to dodge the potentially super effective attack.

It then glared at the two boys who were giving it a hard time and looked as if it was disgusted with them more than anything in the world. <You're just like him! Humans should mind their own business!> it basically psychically yelled in their heads before it's eyes began to glow blue and it shot out an intangible wave of energy that came out as a Foresight which would make everything in the area easy to hit. It then floated in the air above the Sentret before shrieking again and then it's whole body began to glow red as it seemed to grow stronger from the own boost in power. It seemed that this Noctowl was experienced enough to know how to deal with potential intruders...perhaps their was more to it than known.

The Buneary that was near them once it was struck by the Foresight it freaked out for a moment and fell over making a large thud before quickly getting up and going back to it's hiding place...it didn't want to end up like that Noctowl...

[Caden Bunny]

A one on one fight was fair.. but he had to make sure this Noctowl didn't hurt anyone. He suddenly threw the pokeball in his hands out and revealed an Albino Luxray. His red eyes glared at the Noctowl that he instantly knew was the target. "Use Discharge on the Noctowl pleace." Caden says somewhat slowly. The Luxray, Bolt, nodded and went running off towards the owl. He suddenly unleashed electricity towards the Noctowl with as much strength as he could form. "Senny use Ice Beam!" Caden shouts out quickly. His little Sentret suddenly looked up at the Noctowl and fired off an ice beam. Maybe they could freeze a wing of his and get him to fall to the ground. [/scrolly]

A sort of 'umph' sound escaped from him, but after that he slowly sat up and rubbed the back of his head before looking back towards the Noctowl and frowning a little. It looked like Caden could protect himself, at least... and wow... a giant white lion pokemon.... That... was pretty cool. A small obscure smirk came to Jayme's face, but even that fell away shortly after. "Are you alright?" was finally what he asked looking back down at the Igglybuff. [/scrolly]

[VEGETA]

As the Noctowl saw the Luxray come out of it's pokeball it flew a little up higher to gain some distance between the two. As it let loose a Discharge a clear bubble went up around Noctowl as it formed a Protect to block the Electric attack. As the Sentret show it's Ice Beam at it it suddenly raised it's wings into the air and gathered a ball of wind which formed an Air Slash and tossed it at the Ice Beam which caused the two attacks to collide and dissipate. It the shriked once more and proceeded to use a Hypnosis on the Luxray which would hopefully be easier to hit due to the Foresight it used earlier.

The Igglybuff looked up at Jayme who was holding it and began to tear up and it rubbed it's head against Jayme's chest. Although after it had done this it smirked in an almost devilish way as if it was enjoying this.
