Evergreen City! It was pretty and full of greenery. It was modern, yet quaint. It also seemed to mix Black City with Fortree City; encouraging many people to come here in their spare time.
One of those people was Wess. As an aspiring Pokemon trainer, he made his way throughout the outskirts and suburbs of the town, admiring the log cabins and such as he went.
Like many children of his age, he was insouciant and constantly stuck close to his guardian, or rather, Pokemon.
Admittedly, it was a comical sight. A rather large Beartic was on all fours, letting her trainer and the newest addition to his team, a Ducklett, ride up there. The ducklett was clearly enjoying the attention, with neither her or Wess paying attention to that Beartic was leading them into a more secluded area, most likely drawn to the smell of berries.

In truth, a good deal of the forest area had been cleared to make this "modern" city, and thus, what trees there were appeared stunted in comparison as to what they would have been if left alone. Buildings took their place, and the sound of a door opening and closing could be heard here and there as people moved about through the city. Groups of people walked together here and there chatting amongst themselves and appearing to be, for the most part, in a good mood. Young children walked with adults, and teenagers slunked against buildings trying, and sometimes failing, to appear 'cool'. Though a few eyes caught sight of the boy, his bear, and his duck, most let it be. dismissing it as some sort of lost cause or something possibly more positive but still rather condescending.
"Pizza! Hot dogs! Come get your Pizza! Hot Dogs! While it's hot!" a cheery voice called out on the corner as a rather stout man did his best to try and convince the street patrons to take up some food. A few stopped here and there, including a rather obscurely thin blue haired young man who had stopped and was now consulting an equally skinny purple haired man who was more or less arguing that they could get a cheaper bite down the street. Upon hearing this, the cheery fat salesman reassured the pair that they wouldn't find a cheaper deal.
With the number of people walking the area, it appeared as though the pokemon that also made their home in the area were hiding and waiting until night when it would be safer to travel out: least any one of those humans was a trainer or something.
