Let's go!"Sofia called back to Harvey as she ran ahead, excited to see Moana Cove. She had heard about the place before sure but hadn't been there since ... well ... since her family had gone on a vacation there years ago. It was nice having a piece of the beach to herself and besides, if Sofia remembered right there was a cave and of course they had to explore the cave. Coming to a stop, Sofia looked around the area and smiled when she realized they had the place to themselves ... this was going to be so much fun, especially since Sofia had been able to go shopping recently and had gotten a new two-piece swimsuit, the top was sky blue and had a butterfly on her right shoulder while the bottom was the same color blue but appeared to be a skirt that reached about mid-thigh and was made out of a material that looked like peacock feathers with another blue butterfly right before the skirt began (as seen here). Over the swimsuit, Sofia wore a light blue jacket that stopped just above her knees thus covering the swimsuit completely but then again, she had wanted to surprise Harvey with her cute new swimsuit to see what he thought about it so of course she had made sure to wear something that covered it. Setting her bag down, Sofia lowered the hood of her jacket, revealing a sky blue headband before shaking out her hair, loving the feel of the wind flowing through her hair. Taking a deep breath, Sofia spun around, laughing before falling on the sand with a soft thump. Aaaahhhh it was nice to be by the ocean again~.[/scrolly]

Ah the memories that came back of happier days. Though Harvey did wonder why Sofia was wearing that light coat like she was hiding something from him.. Oh well he would find out soon what it was. As he got closer Harvey laughed a little as Sofia plopped her self on the sand. " Seem like your having fun already Sofia." Harvey said with a smile. [/scrolly]

Spinning around so that Harvey would be able to get the full effect, Sofia took Harvey's hand and looked at with a bright expression,"Well? Ya comin' or what?"[/scrolly]

It caught him off guard, he had not expected for Sofia to be wearing a to piece! Harvey blushed as he looked at Sofia. When he realized what he was doing he closed his eyes and shook his head. His face went back to normal and he looked over at Sofia with a weak smile. " Y-yeah! I'm coming!" Harvey said and he went behind a rock to change into swimming trucks. Once changed the young boy ran over to the water and jumped in making a huge splash as he did so. [/scrolly]

This isn't the first time you've seen me in a swimsuit before silly!"she laughed before Harvey finally managed to respond. "Last one there's a rotten egg!"Sofia called when Harvey had finally changed before running towards the water, laughing as she went before diving in. "Hey! I have an idea, why don't we swim to that rock over there, it looks kinda like a mini island huh," Sofia chimed before pointing to the rock in question as she treaded water effortlessly.[/scrolly]

He was last into the water seeing Sofia was closer but he did not really care. Reaches to the belt he still had on him. he took out Piplup's pokeball, and called her out. " Piplup!! the water pokemon cried out happily when she found her self in water. She then stated to swim around Sofia and Harvey, squirting water at them playfully as she went by. Harvey laughed at his pokemon and nodded when Sofia wanted to swim out to the large rock. " Ok, that sounds like fun. Lets just watch out for any pokemon though," Harvey said as he started to swim out to the rock. [/scrolly]

Upon reaching the rock, Sofia climbed onto it and giggled, it was like her own personal island! "This is so cool! It's like a small island!" she called to Harvey as she sat down and just enjoyed looking out at the ocean. Yes Sofia was soaking wet and yes being out of the water made her a little cold but this was just too cool not to enjoy.[/scrolly]

Though he kept a eye out for wild pokemon as he did so. He did not want a water pokemon to try to sneak up on him. But he also trusted that Piplup would give him a heads up. With in a few minutes Harvey reached the rock and climped up on it. he then sat himself next to Sofia and smiled. Maan she was just soo cute. Harvey then blushed when he thought that and looked away so hopfully Sofia would not see him blushing. " Well I gotta say, the weather is nice to say. I can see lots of things from here." Harvey said as he looked at his surroundings. Piplup jumped out of the water laughing happily and started to swim around the rock Harvey and Sofia where sitting on. [/scrolly]

Sitting in the water a little ways out farther was a small gathering of Pokemon. Two Politoed were very clearly arguing, though it thankfully didn't seem they were outright yelling at each other just yet. Just having a very heated debate regarding some disagreement. On either side of them, though, was two other Pokemon. A Horsea on one side that looked like she was about to cry and a Goldeen on the other, who... looked apathetic at best.

Sofia began before spotting the Pokemon nearby,"Come on let's see what's going on!" Before Harvey had time to answer, Sofia had already dove into the water and was headed in the direction of the group of Pokemon. Mmm, swimming was just so much fun and when there were Pokemon around it was even better~. Surfacing once again near the group of Pokemon, Sofia blinked when she saw the Politoed were arguing but didn't really know what was going on. Whatever was going on didn't seem too good ... D8 and they were making that poor Horsea sad and 8U ohhey that's a cute Goldeen~. Treading water rather easily, Sofia waved to the group, hoping that she wouldn't scare them off ... though it didn't seem like they had noticed her either. "Hello~,"Sofia chimed before looking at the Horsea again and frowning slightly,"What's wrong ... ? Why is the Horsea so sad ... ?"she continued in a concerned voice, nevermind that Sofia may not be able to understand the Pokemon she still had to at least try to figure out what was going on.[/scrolly]

Unlike with his parents, they always tried to force him to be someone he wasn't. When Sofia seemed to notice something the young boy opened his eyes and looked at where his friend was pointing. Hmm seemed like some wild pokemon where having a disagreement. Harvey was about to tell Sofia to leave them be but before he knew it she jumped back into the water and was swiming over to them. " Sofia!! Ugh darn it..." Harvey mumbled and jumped into the water and followed after her. When he caught up he did not say anything, though ready for anything if the pokemon attacked. Piplup did a few more laps around the stone the two children had been sitting when she saw they had left the small water pokemon looked around, thankfully spotting them before going into a panic. She then swam over to the two and noticed the other pokemon. " Pip?" she said as she tilted her head and watched. [/scrolly]

All four Pokemon's attention turned immediately toward the girl when she spoke. There was a few long moments of silence as the Politoed both appeared rather terrified. How did a human get so close without them noticing?! At least it wasn't an adult... those were the ones they really needed to worry about. Regardless, the Horsea actually sped toward Sofia while seeming to sob. <They were having such a good time and then he said one thing and she told him he was stupid and then they kept arguing! And I couldn't do anything,> she wailed, completely oblivious to the fact that the girl actually might not understand her at all...

The Goldeen just... sighed. <You see what you two have done? We could've been in trouble. You'd put that poor Horsea in trouble over an argument like this? Do you even remember what you were arguing about by this point?> The two frog Pokemon gazed at Sofia, then Harvey, and then to each other before their shoulders slumped. <No,> they admitted.

<You were arguing about whether a Milotic or a Gyarados was more attractive,> he enlightened them. <Oh yeah...> They looked at each other pointedly before turning back toward the Horsea, who immediately spluttered, <EVERYONE is lovely in their own way.> The other three simply sweatdropped comically before the Goldeen dove beneath the surface and approached closer. Surfacing just in front of Harvey, he blinked before turning his attention to the Horsea and girl. He just... looked at her, though, seemingly no expression on his face.

"Hey, it's all right Horsea, don't cry...,"Sofia crooned softly, treading water rather easily despite her arms now being otherwise occupied. When the Goldeen started talking, Sofia glanced over at Harvey, for once not quite sure what to say. She had no idea what the Goldeen was saying...or rather what was going on to begin with. No sooner had she been about to say something when the Horsea sputtered something, causing Sofia to look down at the little Pokemon before giggling at the other Pokemon's expressions. Well...at least things seemed to have calmed down now ^_^ that was good~. Then Goldeen disappeared only to surface in front of Harvey, Sofia blinked and nodded in a greeting of sorts. He was just...staring at her though, it was kinda odd really but hey the Goldeen was cute so it didn't really matter now did it... Eh, at least being stared at didn't seem to bother too badly as she looked back at him with a smile on her features, the Horsea still in her arms.[/scrolly]
