Walking down the sidewalk is something you always see someone do. However, you don't see many girls with a Pichu on her shoulder and an electric guitar on her back. Estelle would be one of those rare occasions as she easily strolled down the street with a smile on her face. It didn't matter how the weather was. It could've been dreary, sunny, raining, or piling on a ton of snow, she had a place to be with things to do and she couldn't have been more excited.
Actually, she started out early, so she would have time to practice by the time she made it.... Okay, she had a LOT of time, but she was excited! Finally, a legit gig over at the plaza of party central. There were going to be a lot of people there. Thousands of listeners that she could entrance with her music, and she intended to take center stage. Problem is, she had a bunch of pieces to choose from, and choosing which ones to use was a problem in and of itself. She couldn't just wing it. A set up like this needed to be planned.
Then again, some music caught her ears, but something didn't sound right. It was down another street, but didn't sound too far off. Estelle smiled at her Pichu, who smiled back before jumping off his trainer's shoulder and starting down the walkway. Estelle laughed real quick before jogging down herself.
"Where is he?" A boy's voice could be heard as they approached, the music stopping abruptly. "It just doesn't sound the same without a backup!"
"Well, isn't that your department?" An older voice came next, right when Estelle could see a couple of guys and a girl with different instruments set up. Were they trying to play something?
"Heck yeah, it is. I'm no lead guitarist. That's for--"
"Hey!" Estelle jumped at the yell, but it wasn't directed at either of the guys. Actually, the girl from the three was looking at Estelle. "Do you play the guitar?"
Estelle looked around, making sure that girl was talking to her before pointed herself. The girl nodded, making Estelle come within a better talking distance. "Yes, I do, actually," the noble answered. However, she wondered where she was getting at.
"Do you mind playing with us? You see, we're missing our lead guitarist and we're in a bit of a jam." Estelle understood the situation and then looked at the music sheets. The one they were currently on was actually a piece she knew by heart. It didn't take long for her to set up her own guitar and told the others to get ready, assuring them she knew what they were about to play.
Once the drums rolled in, things started smoothly. Estelle took the lead guitar as the boys took the drums and back-up guitar and the girl on the keys. By the time the second loop came around Estelle wasn't afraid to get more into it. She hits the notes a little harder, getting all that she could out of them while she played. The others saw how much fun she was having and then started to do the same. Before anyone knew it, they were all literally bouncing around and swaying to their own music.
By the time they finished, they only then realized the small audience they acquiered during their performance. The other three were embarrassed, but Estelle just stood and waved. One would say she was meant to be a performer considering how well she took all the praise from those watching. However, then came her goodbyes to the three she 'practiced' with. They almost begged her to stay, saying her playing was amazing, but she did have somewhere to be.
Once she got back on her trail, however, her pace slowed compared to before. It was then that her Pichu shown himself. Well, he obviously was somewhere, but Estelle just now realized that she didn't see him anywhere while she played. "Now where were you hiding, Static?"
"Pichu!" Static replied, still as happy as ever. His tranier just laughed once again as she lightly scruffed the top of his head before letting him perch on her shoulder once more.
