That long walk from the West part of the region was a killer on Estelle's legs. Just a quick visit back home and now she's back in the capital, totally exhausted in a busy part of town. Her pokemon where exhausted from the trip, so Estelle let them relax in their pokeballs by the time they arrived. However, this noble didn't have such a luxury. She couldn't even find a--
Then again, just as she passed, two people got up from a bench that was right outside an open part of town. Taking the chance, Estelle laid down her bag and then sat herself, giving her legs a moment to recover. 'How do all these other people do it?' she asked herself while hugging her coat. She was still new to the entire 'traveling' bit, so of course she would still need time to strengthen her legs for all this, but how long did it half to take?
Estelle shot up when she heard a bunch of piano key's being pounded. Looking around, she noticed there was a group of kids playing around with a public piano. She heard there were a few around the capital, but what a coincidince that she would find one so close. Once the kids left it, the noble casually grabbed her bag and walked over, fully intent on playing.
Once she sat down, she had to think of what to play. Looking around, no one was watching her, so she felt a little more free to just play around while she thought. Hitting a few keys here and there, she did one slow stroke that made her think of something. What if everything here, everything that is happening in Era, just stopped for a few moments? To be able to walk the streets with people and pokemon always smiling, not a care in the world. All the fighting, all the cruel segregation between nobles and civilians, all the anger and resent of social status... What if it all just disappeared for a few moments, letting everone enjoy true peace?
Before she knew it, she started playing. All those thoughts were flowing through her arms into her hands, playing that very first tune she learned as a child. A piece so simple, yet so peaceful. The lovely sound of the piano echoing in the middle of the district, sounding the wishes that this woman had. Maybe, just maybe, someone will stop and listen to the message being played. A cry for peace instead of equality. A plea for love instead of respect. It was like a teardrop of the heart hit the ground with every note played, and you could see it in Estelle's eyes.
When she finished, she slowly retracted her arms while trying to hold back her own tears. Not even she realized how strongly she felt about this war, and it tore her up. What she wouldn't give for a comforting hug right about now...
