He was giving her a pokemon and...one like his and... The first pokemon she had ever really received was Ken, and he had originally been the family pet to begin with.... Slowly bending down, the brown haired woman picked up the small Drumaka and found herself slowly looking back up at Ty and grinning. "I...." she started but stopped. "Thank you," she smiled even more, and before she realized it, Nami was in tears. The rush of emotion was once again boiling over, and Nami couldn't tell if she was happy, sad, or somewhere in between, the last probably the most likely. [/scrolly]

Ability: Inner Focus
Personality: A generally thoughtful pokemon, this Darumaka tends to take things as they come and makes the best of them. She's rather lighthearted and gentle around her friends but can be rather mean when someone messes with them. She's rather artistic at times and likes to make glass or rock objects into beautiful works of art.

"Yeah... I just... have never really had a gift like this before," she answered back with a slow smile coming to her lips. "I guess I just... it just makes me really happy.." she admitted, her voice rising in pitch before breaking off again as her eyes closed. Setting her head on his shoulder, Nami breathed in and out slowly. "Just... thanks for everything, Ty... all this and I just.... just thanks..." she smiled genuinely. And suddenly thunder rumbled again overhead, and rain suddenly rushed downwards in sheets. Poor Dharma flailed startled. [/scrolly]

The rain was already drenching her, and though she tried to ignore it, Nami couldn't help but stop as they got inside and reach back to try and squish the water out of her hair. Those brown locks had grown even longer since her traveling, and a part of her knew she probably should cut them sooner or later, but she preferred them long... Sigh, she'd figure something out. Looking back at Ty, Nami offered a smile before taking his hand again and walking over to the hostess who blinked startled at the sight of water but quickly seated them anyways. Sitting in a booth, Nami rubbed one of her shoulders finding that she was a lot colder now after the sudden soak. "I guess... it's a good thing we got inside...." she said trying to hold off a shiver. Why didn't they have the heater on? Or why wasn't it warmer if they did? [/scrolly]

He slid into the booth across from her, also shivering. "Yeah...it is a good thing. Though...ya know...I think hot chocolate would be good to start off with, don't you, Love?" He blushed, realizing what he'd just called her, but then he nearly jumped out of his skin. "Nami! Is that you?" Ty looked over to see a blue haired girl dressed rather skimpily walk up and slide into the seat next to Nami as the waiter came up. "I'll take care of the bill tonight. So~" She looked over to Ty. "That your boyfriend? If so, I gotta say he's adorable." Ty merely blushed. [/scrolly]

Unlike other endearing terms... that one... actually made her feel.... She didn't have quite a lot of time to say anything else when a familiar voice came to Nami's ears. Turning her head sideways, Nami stared stupidly for a few seconds. That was... Holly! Ep! She hadn't seen the woman face to face in what felt like forever, but she was also in GIF and and and and EP! "Holly!" Nami choked out rather quickly before offering a cheesy smile. As the blue haired woman slid into the seat next to her, Nami scooted over a bit more to give her some room. As the woman continued, Nami blinked and then blushed even more. "I...well...I...yeah..." she answered back rubbing the back of her head nervously. [/scrolly]

Okay so today went from stressful and scary and full of near death experiences to just plain awesome. "Yep~ I'm actually glad I ran into you two. But first, let's eat; I'm starved. However, after a few seconds, she looked sideways at him and nodded her head before looking down at the menu... Oh God she could eat pretty much everything on there... though that would just lead to a stomach ache..er... maybe just a turkey sandwich and fries then.... and oh God the deserts...."I think... the turkey sandwich and the apple pie..." she mumbled as a waiter seemed to suddenly come over rather quickly -- only after noticing Holly, of course. "I think I'll have the grilled cheese sandwich, tater tots on the side, and banana pudding." This was actually amazing; first they'd planned a date, that went to hell, and now here they were, sitting at a table with the guitarist from one of his favorite bands.

"Let's see...I'll have the popcorn shrimp, no sauce, an order of fries, and a hot fudge sundae."

When the waiter went to take care of that, Holly looked back at Nami. "Anyway, I've been looking for you for quite a while now. We probably shoulda exchanged numbers or something, but we'll take care of that too. Well, you remember how I said if Chelsea had babies, I'd give you one? She had three, and they're the most adorable little things I have ever seen!" She was overly excited and giggly as she said this.

"They're old enough to be separated from their mother now, so I'm going to let you choose. There's two shiny Buizirisu and a Pachirisu. And you can have whichever one you like~"

Ty meanwhile had to grin at this. "You're being given Pokemon left and right today, eh?" he asked playfully.

She had been getting quite a few pokemon, today, and a part of her wondered if maybe it was her birthday and she had just forgotten or something. Nope, that wouldn't be for another few months. Then what could it be? After a few moments, Nami realized she had fallen silent and quickly laughed as though to compensate for her quietness. Her face had flushed rather quickly, and a quiet smile laced her features. "It seems so," she nodded. "But...it's....nice..." she said slowly looking down and blushing a little. [/scrolly]

Ty smiled at her reply, finally having relaxed enough to have a good time. This was a great change of pace compared to earlier.

Soon, the waiter reappeared with their food and set it down in front of them. Huh, it seemed as though service had picked up quite a bit since Holly had sat down with them.

Holly giggled. "After we finish eating, we should go do that. Maybe just chill or something afterwards." Then a thought hit her. "Unless you two are on a date or something and I'm interrupting. In which case we can do this later. Don't mean to intrude, heh..."
