Due to it being winter it was cold but Cora did not care. She was used to the cold, being a trainer that traveled. But now she was stuck, with a broken leg and could not go very far. So for the last few months after the bombings, she had been in a wheelchair and the only outside time she got was out in the garden... But being stuck behind walls was not her idea of fun... But she was greatful that Felis had let her stay here. That way her Mother could still work without worrying about her if she had decided to stay at her house. Cora sighed and put her hands on the wheels of her chair and started to move. She had taken to wheeling around the castle just for something to do besides reading books or just staying in bed. Though she longed to get out side of the castle walls and go somewhere.. But not want to sound ungrateful she said nothing. After a few Cora stopped by one of the many threes in the castle garden and looked up at the sky, no blue could be found as the clouds lay in the sky like a huge fluffy blanket. Would have been nice to have a sunny day, that would have uplifted her spirits just a little at least. Cora closed her eyes and just listened to the sounds around her, as she did this her eye lids felt heavy. She had been having issues sleeping and has been trying to hide that so not to worry anyone. Most of all her sister, who liked to fuss over things... But when Cora thought about it Elayne had every right to. After a moment Cora then decided to sit there and hoped she could get a little nap in. And hoped she would get a restful sleep with no nightmares. [/scrolly]

For a moment, Elayne debated whether or not she should even chance looking up...she had come out here to relax (or at least attempt to) and try to get her mind off of the events that had happened. Ever since the bombings and the events that had followed, Cora, Haiiro, and some others had been staying at the castle with Felis' invitation. Since then Elayne had been running herself ragged trying to help out with taking care of the others to the point where she was making herself physically sick with worry and fatigue. Things had slowed down since then and with everyone doing better Elayne had been forced decided to take a break for once. Sighing, Elayne looked up to see Cora's familiar form not to far away and frowned slightly. What was she doing out here in the cold...did she want to get sick on top of her injury.... Putting her drawing supplies away in the small satchel she had brought with her, Elayne shouldered the bag and walked over to where Cora was. "Cora....?"Elayne began in a quiet, tired sounding voice,"...what are you doing out here?"[/scrolly]

This caused her to jump a little as her heartbeat raced a little faster before calming down again. Ugh no much for trying to have a restful nap.. Cora looked over at Elayne fighting to keep her eyes open. Wow her sister looked awful, and she was not one who was caught up in the blast... But she has been worrying herself sick over the ones who where. Cora gave a weak smile, " Hello Elayne, I came out here because its driving me nuts staying indoors all this time... Though these walls aren't much help..." Cora said with a sigh and she looked back up at the sky, how she missed flying up there with Charizard... Though she could only let him outside of the castle walls... Ugh she thought that was lame rule though... She had not been outside the castle walls much and thought that was unfair for Charizard.... he was her best friend after all he should be able to by her side right now... She enjoyed talking with him, Cora then looked at Elayne again. [/scrolly]

It had certainly felt good just to sit and rest for a little while but if Cora needed her that was fine...her sister's health was more of a concern to Elayne than her own comfort. She could always find time to rest later after all,"I understand, sometimes it's just nice to get out..."Elayne replied quietly before looking up at the sky and sighing,"Do you want to go outside for a little while...? I have to let some of my little ones run around,"she offered kindly before looking back at Cora.[/scrolly]

Cora looked at the walls and frowned at it. Yes, it would be nice to get out just a little. Cora then looked back at her sister and smiled, " Yes, I would like that. My pokemon could so with some play time. Charizard more so.. I have not been able to call him out much all thanks to that lame rule..." Yeah Cora was not afraid to protest the rule the Duke had set. Though as times where she would not do that to his face. If she herself could get her hands on the man who hurt Felis... He would go down so hard he would be feeling it for years... But alas she was stuck in a wheelchair and was not going anywhere anytime soon. With a sigh Cora then put her hands on the wheels and started to wheel herself to the door that lead to the outside. Not even asking for help. As she did this Cora's mind went to the serenity garden. hey Elayne, when I'm more healed we should go to the serenity garden and explore the maze. I have been wanting to do that for a long time now." Cora said with a smile. [/scrolly]

She understood where Felis was coming from...it hadn't been easy convincing him to allow her to keep as many fire Pokemon as she had. Course it helped that the majority of them were quite gentle... Seeing Cora begin to wheel herself towards the gate, Elayne was about to offer to help when Cora spoke up, cutting her words short. "That sounds like fun..."Elayne replied quietly as she walked beside Cora,"Oh, I don't think you've seen all my fire Pokemon...they don't get to come out very often just like your Charizard. Only a few are allowed inside the castle and only because they're gentle..."she continued as they neared the castle gates.[/scrolly]
