Rylee solemnly walked into the forest, one hand clenched around her sole Poke-ball (that had a Pokemon in it, at least). She sighed as she glanced around, glaring at air. Stupid rituals... She thought to herself, though she didn't dare voice her thoughts out loud in case they were listening.
She walked up to what appeared to be the biggest grave around the area, and slowly pulled out some white type (chalk doesn't work very well on grass). She very carefully and tediously made a circle with it around the grave, along with many other designs on the inside of it. She placed down some candles on the very edges of it, then slowly sat down on the inside.
She let out Grim, which, much to it's disappointment, was only brought along to hover over her head and make her seem more faithful. She began to chant what sounded like gibberish (probably because it was, she kept making it up as she went along).
(OOC - Sorry, but I'm having major writer's block as what to post. :x)

More importantly, a Pokemon was ambling around the area before noticing Rylee and quickly making his way over with a confident look on his face. That is, until white hands wrapped around his face from behind and held him back. <No, don't step in there! It'll take your SOUL!> The Sableye that voiced this was desperately trying to hold back the hybrid -- a shiny Axew and Treecko mix -- and was almost failing the fight. <Dammit, Esprit! Get off me! God, you're such a clingy woman. I already told you ain't interested! You and your crazy excuses.>
<No!> The poor dual-type's face became quite discolored as she seemed to blush. <I don't care if you don't like me. In fact, I don't like you, either, you player, but... but that circle,> she murmured, slowly losing her steam as she pointed to the tape on the ground. He blinked, apparently having not noticed that until just that moment. Looking up at Grim, he would attempt to flash a dazzling smile the moment he got even the smallest amount of the Duskull's attention. <Yo, handsome. What... is this, exactly?> It was asked a bit warily... The albino Sableye simply sighed, apparently relieved to have kept him out of it... for now.
That problem was quickly 'remedied' as another figure approached. This one quite a bit taller than either of the Pokemon and seemingly human in shape. "Esprit? Where did you go? Oh, there you are." Arcadie stepped closer and paused upon seeing the girl. "Oh... You two aren't interrupting someone mourning -- wait... what in the world?" As she'd been questioning her Pokemon, she quickly noticed the circle and raised an eyebrow. Rylee's chanting had been largely ignored by the Pokemon (well, the hybrid had ignored it; the Sableye was perhaps more convinced of the circle's negative purpose by it) and presumably she'd have been interrupted by their ruckus so Arcadie would not hear it... but even if it had continued long enough for Arcadie to hear it, the girl was simply baffled. This was... one interesting meeting, that was for sure.[/scrolly] |
