Nathan had been ridiculously busy as of late, but after getting a good deal of research done into specific areas and sending out people to look into certain things, he wearily decided to head over to the University to possibly find something to take his stress-ridden mind off of everything. After so many years of assessing his own personality, he knew better than to allow himself to burn out. Instead, he would step back, let the people he had hired do their work, and do something recreational. What he considered recreational, though, was a bit different from what many would expect. Upon walking up the steps of the school, he waved lightly towards one of the guards and then disappeared inside the gates. Heading over to the library, still one of the largest resources of information he had come across in a long time save for the Ruins of Origin, the redhead was pleased to head over towards it.
Following after her trainer and husband, Amina graced the area lightly with her quiet steps. She had been to the University plenty of times with Nathan, but feeling all the thoughts and working minds always brought something knew to the table. At one time what may have overloaded her psychic powers was now being used to obtain extraneous information, much to her trainer and husband's adoration. "Something wrong?" a voice asked causing Amina to look back and realize how far she had trailed after Nathan. Quickly catching up with him, she shook her head slowly. 'No it's nothing... it's... just nice to know that people are still learning... you know...' she laughed quietly. Nathan simply exchanged a soft smile and took her hand before starting to walk again.
Entering the crisp air of the library, Nathan sighed outwards before starting to lead the way through the various aisles until finally disappearing down the aisle of choice. Taking up a rather specific book, Nathan walked over to his favorite chair and sat down opening the book. Amina remained standing and instead of stopping just yet started to roam the aisles for more books.

"So, you're not making much progress?"
"It's not so much making progress as it is gathering information at the moment."
"But do you really have to walk all over Era to do that?"
It was a very good question. It's been a while since Alia returned to the capital, wondering what all the University may have had regarding the decline of the kingdom. People were not proving to be valuable resources so far, so that meant going back to books once more. Of course, on her way to the University, Alia ran into an old friend of hers, Claire, who seems intent on catching up. Normally, Alia would enjoy spending time with her, but this was completely unintentional, and she wanted to keep to her schedule.
Alia sighed, resting her forehead on two fingers for a moment. "Honestly, Claire, could you ever find a time to not be so inquisitive?" That seemed to be her nature. Always wanting to find out about things that interested her. In this case, it was Alia.
Claire smiled, obviously feeling accomplished to make Alia say that. "What's wrong, Princess? Can't a girl want to know why her friend is traveling the world?"
The drifter looked away for a second. True, it's only natural for friends to feel concerned, but that wasn't what bothered Alia. "Could you please stop calling me that? I'm not of any royal bloodline."
"Who said you had to be? You talk as if you are, though."
"It's simply my form of communication. I can't help it if I talk differently than most." During their conversation, Alia didn't noticed that the two of them have already reached the doors to the University. Also, this is where they must part. "Here we are."
"Indeed. Well, I'll be getting to class. You know where the library is, right?"
A slight smile appeared from Alia, mostly out of amusement. "Yes, Claire."
"Okay then!" With a smile and a wave, Claire disappeared into the building. However, Alia wondered something. If she's going into the library, one of her Pokemon may be interested in joining her. After all, he loves reading. So, intent on asking him, she called him out.
"Snivy!" Viny exclaimed, making the guards at the entrance turn their heads. Alia, however, kept a calm face and waved it off, assuring them it's nothing to worry about. Noticing this, Viny scratched the back of his head, slightly embarrassed. <Sorry,> he said, though he knew his trainer wouldn't understand his speach. Still, he knew how to communicate well enough through body language.
Alia shook her head, dismissing his apology. "Don't worry about it. So, I'm going to ask you a question, and I want an honest answer. Understand?" Viny perked up, ready for whatever Alia was about to say. "I'm about to go to a library. Would you like to join me?"
The way Viny's eyes lit up, she knew she didn't have to ask twice. <Yeah! I'd love to!>
It didn't take long for them to find the library, which size of it surprised the Snivy. So many books, so little time to read them. So, what should he read first? A historical fiction novel? An autobiography of a great trainer? Oh! Maybe he could find the next installment of that Super Pokemon he read before! Without even looking at Alia, he ran off.
Alia had different plans, though. Knowing Viny, she decided to let him look for a book himself. She'll find him after she gets what she wants to find. So, checking the aisles real quick, she found the historical novels and documentaries and then started to look around. 'Era Origins', 'Time of Royalty', and one more for her own personal gain, 'Trainers of Legend'. Then she noticed one that piqued her interest. She couldn't read the spine that well thanks to it being damaged, but it had something to do with 'ruins'.
She tried pulling it out by the sides, but not even her fingernails could slip between the books. Instead, she carefully started to tug at the spine above, wedging it out a bit, but once again it wouldn't slip out. So, grabbing the open part of the cover, she tried forcefully pulling it out. Little by little, she increased her strength, but it seemed to only slip out millimeter by millimeter. Agitated, she pulled hard and kept the force going. Finally, it came out, but Alia kept going. She reared back and hit what felt like another person, losing the grip on her other books in the process.
Twirling around, the drifter immediately started to apologize. "I'm sorry! I'm so sorry! That was completely my fault! I wasn't--" She trailed off as she realized who she bumped into. 'A Gardevoir?' At first, she started to wonder what a Pokemon was doing here alone. Then again, Alia let her own Pokemon explore the place, so would it really be that bizarre? In any case, she started to pick up her books, now feeling heavier than usual. "I-I wasn't paying attention to anyone behind me. Please, forgive me." Human or not, the situation was rather embarrassing.
Viny was over at the fiction aisles looking over several books until one caught his eye. 'The Three Musketeers'. That was one he hadn't read before, and it looked to be rather interesting. Grabbing it, he exited the aisle to look for an open place where Alia could spot him easily enough. Eventually, he found one not that far off from where a red-headed guy was sitting.
Jumping up on chair before finally jumping on top of the table, he lay his book down and took in a deep breath, feeling rather good. Glancing at the man from before, Viny waved at him in a friendly manner before opening his book, starting to read.

Between having a mental conversation with Nathan, despite the man reading, and her looking for a book, she found her senses a little less peaked than usual. Thus, when she had finally piled a book from the shelf, rather than waltz back to her husband, the Gardevoir had simply opened the book and began to scan over it thoughtfully. It wasn't rare that she read, but it was rare that she truly found anything that grabbed her interest, truthfully, and she didn't want to walk all the way back to Nathan just to find that the book was less than exciting. Thus she had resolved to read at least a bit of it where she stood. 'Are you feeling any better?' the Gardevoir's psychic thoughts moved off towards her trainer solely, and after a brief moment, thoughts rolled back to her. 'I'm alright...' Amina sighed. That was not what she had asked, and he knew that.
Lost a little in thought, Amina didn't come to herself until someone bumped into or rather fallen into her. Flinching back a little, the aged psychic turned towards the light haired young woman whom seemed quick to apologize. Briefly she stared before a quiet smile came to Amina's features. 'It's alright. I understand and forgive you,' she projected softly back towards the girl. Red eyes observed the book that appeared to be with the girl, and for a brief moment, Amina smiled quietly. 'Ah... a Ruins of Origin book...' she observed leaning forwards a little and coddling the book in her own arms as she moved. 'Going treasure hunting?' was the quiet bemused question.
Nathan, meanwhile, became aware of something not far off form himself, and as it seemed Amina's words cut off for whatever reason, he looked up. Grey eyes stared at the Snivy for a moment before the redhead simply nodded his head slowly in acknowledgement and looked back down once more. Amina? he thought finding it harder to feel her than usual. However, he became aware rather quickly that she was talking to someone. That was fine. This was a library, and most were respectful there. As long as she wasn't attacked, he wouldn't worry for now.

Once that voice entered the girl's head, Alia froze for a moment. Sure, she knew the Pokemon was a Psychic type, but this was the first time a foreign voice entered her own mind. As she picked up her last book, the drifter's honey yellow eyes met the Gardevoir's, noticing the Pokemon was glancing at the book Alia recently obtained.
'Ruins of Origin' is it? That sounded... rather intriguing, actually. Looking at the cover of the book, that's exactly what it read. What was this 'Ruins of Origin'? Well, that's what the book was for, wasn't it? Still, the question the Gardevoir asked caught Alia's attention. "Treasure hunting?" Alia may have laughed if she wasn't in deep thought. Either way, though, she still shook her head at the notion. "No. That is not my intention at all. Honestly, this is the first time I have heard of such a place."
Although the title 'Ruins of Origin' would normally be a dead giveaway regarding the contents of what is inside this place, Alia was a little curious. After all, the Gardevoir asked a quick and rather precise question, so a quick inquire about the subject may be called for. "If I may ask, what is in this 'Ruins of Origin place?"
Viny kept reading his book, not paying attention to his surroundings or some of the strange glances from people that pass by. After all, how often does one find a Snivy reading a book by himself, for himself. Unfortunately for them, Viny wasn't your average Pokemon.

'It's a large library in Southern Era, more or less... known to have artifacts and a good deal of history within its walls' she explained. 'Most try and find it seeking something...' Amina mentally sighed to herself before shaking her head. She wouldn't dwell on that aspect of it any longer. 'Ah, my name is Amina by the way,' the Gardevoir stated briefly before setting a hand on her chest and bowing lightly.
Nathan, meanwhile, slowly became aware of Amina's thoughts. Someone was asking about the Ruins of Origin? It wasn't technically rare for someone to do so, but that didn't mean that it wasn't uncommon. Flipping a page in his book, the redhead continued to read while keeping a 'listening' mind open.

A large library in Southern Era? That alone caught Alia's attention. However, she couldn't help but wonder why Amina trailed off at the end of her statement. It's obvious there's some event that happened over there, and she was probably a part of it, given her face. Still, it didn't seem that comfortable for her, so Alia didn't push the subject.
After Amina introduced herself, Alia did the same. "Alia Yashi." But that was all she would do from that point. "Thank you for the information, but I won't waste any more of your time. After all, I have someone to return to." That 'someone' being her Pokemon. So, with a nod, the drifter carefully exited the aisle and found Viny sitting at a table in an open area, reading away.
Smiling at the sight, she walked over and took a seat, sitting down her books as carefully as possible. "How do you like the book, Viny?" The Snivy looked up at her just long enough to give a thumbs up before returning to the page he was on, making his trainer giggle a bit. As she sat down, though, she glanced over at a man in the distance, reading a book and minding his own business. She didn't mind, though. Her primary reason for being at this library wasn't to have any social meetings. So, she opened the 'Era Origins' book and started to skim through it, trying to find any significant info that would help her.

'Nice to meet you' she hummed before the girl said that she had to return to someone. Nodding a little the Gardevoir let the girl go on her way before slowly going back to looking through the book she had.
Nathan, meanwhile, looked up briefly from his own text at the sound of feet, and upon finding the young woman there at the table with the Snivy, he blinked briefly before looking back down at his book again. A good few minutes passed before the lighter sounds of foot steps triggered Nathan to look up again. Sure enough, Amina was walking forwards a trail of books hovering behind her raised with psychic power. 'I couldn't decide what to read' the Gardevoir laughed psychically. Nathan chuckled a little as well. Amina laughed for a brief moment before her eyes caught sight of something. 'Nathan!' she frowned.
"Yes?"
'You're...reading recent news...' Amina frowned quietly. Neither one said anything after that, but Nathan could feel the disappointment radiating off Ami. They'd come here to relax, and he was sitting there reading a paper in front of his book. She wondered how she hadn't managed to catch him earlier but blamed it on her distraction after some hesitation.
"I'm just keeping up with the news."
