Rayna was happily chasing after Shinx who had warmed up to everyone after a while. Rufflet was happily flying in the sky above them enjoying being able to fly around so freely. Sapphire, his Deino stayed by Harvey's side. She was the shyest of his pokemon due to her past. She had a eye patch on her left eye from when she had a abusive trainer. Harvey did try to get her to play but she was happy just to walk along side Harvey. It had been year now when he ran away from home. Sofia had followed him that day. At first he was not happy about it but he soon changed his mind. He was happy to be with Sofia. As where she was right now though, she was with some friends so Harvey went out for a walk. Harvey laughed as Rayna chased after Shinx, she kept herself just out of Rayna's reach. Rayna was starting to get annoyed but was still having fun. Rufflet then decided to play with Harvey, he swooped down as if he was going to dive bomb him but pulled up and laughed. Harvey saw this, his eyes grew wide and he ducked. He then glared up at his pokemon. " Thats not very funny Rufflet!!!" Harvey shouted at the young bird pokemon. Rufflet just laughed but did not try that again. But who's to say he wont try again later? Harvey rolled his eyes and kept on walking. He was going to enjoy his day and let nothing bother him. [/scrolly]

He'd received a tip that the pokemon he had been looking for were held by a trainer wandering the area, and though the tip was a bit far-fetched, he had decided to check into it regardless. He was a natural researcher, after all, though in a different form than a scientist, heh. Walking through Midsummer Meadow, Nathan found himself looking this way and that scowering fro where this supposed trainer was supposed to be. Amina, the Gardevoir, walked a little ways behind her husband taking more dancing steps than not. Years ago when they were younger, Nathan and her had danced together in this large area. Though Nathan was more focuse don work at the moment, the memory had come back to Amina at least, and she couldn't help but waltz a little as she walked. 'It's such a nice day out...' Amina projected after a moment. 'Nathan coem dance with me...' she telepathically called. Nathan stopped walking briefly before looking back towards his wife, his Gardevoir, and his love. For a brief moment, there was a tinge of irritation, but as he saw her beautiful form moving through the grassy field, he couldn't help but smile a little. "Amina, we're here on work, remember..." the redhead said after a moment. Catching herself and sighing softly Amina stopped before looking over towards Nathan, not fully upset but feeling more than just a tinge of sadness. 'I know...' she sighed. Suddenly Nathan tensed, and his head trned. 'Do you sense anything in the area?'

[/color] the mental thought came to Ami quickly, and she flinched before quickly mentally probing the area around her. Sure enough she could feel something.

'There are a few presences... but I think the trainer...is a child...' Amina finally concluded causing Nathan to flinch. Maybe the pokemon had been bought or something? He knew Amina couldn't quite sense Shadows since they were more of aura and spirit than mind, but it still came to Nathan's mind. After a moment of hesitation, Nathan simply stepped forwards and started walking rather quickly up the hill that divided where Amina had sensed the presence and himself.

Getting to the top, Nathan stared downwards only to stop and blink surprised. "Young master Harvey Kendall what a surprise," was the raised voice statement that came to the air. Amina blinked surprised to hear the name but aware of who it was. This... child... hadn't... he run away from home or something?

No one had called him young master is a very long time. That meant this person knew who he was. Harvey's eyes grew wide as his heart began to race. After a year of running he had been caught?? Even after he made himself look like a normal boy. Harvey turned and glared at the man who spoke. He did not know who he was at the top of his head.. But he looked like a noble, well he was not about to be taken back home! The young boy then took off in a dash, " Run!! Everyone run!!" The boy cried out. All his pokemon stopped and looked back. Rayna nodded and started to run as did Shinx even though she had no idea what was going on. Sapphire ran along side Harvey and Rufflet flew down closer to Harvey and flew by his side. Rayna had told him about Harvey's past and did not want Harvey to get caught. [/scrolly]

"Amina would you mind?" he asked. Amina breathed inwards before raising a hand and releasing a Psychic making to freeze the boy and all of his pokemon save for the Deino that wouldn't be touched by such move. After so many years, Amina's psychic powers were strong despite her somewhat lack of battle, and thus she could handle forcing a few to stay still. After a moment, Nathan slowly started to walk down the hill towards Harvey and company. "Why are you running?" Nathan asked already pretty sure he knew the answer. [/scrolly]

He had a physic type with him. After all this time he had been caught and now there was nothing he could do. Harvey closed his eyes tightly and reopened them with a glare as Nathan came closer and asked why he was running. Rayna wished she could look back but she was stuck, how she hated physic types!! " If you hurt Harvey I will make sure you pay!!" Rayna cried out in anger. Shinx did not like this at all but said nothing, Poor Rufflet was swet dropping he was in med air and was frozen, he hoped he would not end up falling to the ground. Sapphire turned to face Nathan but took a few steps back, she was unsure what to do. Her friends and trainer where stuck and she was the only one able to move. Sapphire growled a little at Nathan but made no move to attack. " Let me go!! Harvey cried out angerly ignoring Nathan's question and tried with all his might to move. [/scrolly]

Whether the young man did so or not was of no consequence. "Do you know how worried your mother is?" Nathan asked crossing his arms in front of himself and finally waiting for the explanation. Harvey glared up at Nathan when he stood in front of him. He kept trying to move but was unable to, When Nathan spoke of his mother Harvey's face darkened with hatred. Like her cared if is mother was worried!! That woman wanted to make his pokemon into shadows and that was something he was not going to allow!! " Why should I care?? I'm never going back! NEVER!!! Let me go!" Harvey said angrily and kept on trying to struggle to get free. [/scrolly]

A thought was passed between the two of them, and Amina made sure to hold her psychic. Looking back again, Nathan frowned. "Your father has died," he stated bluntly waiting a good minute to let that sink in. "You are the last of your mother's immediate family." He rephrased the words a little but kept them with the same tone. [/scrolly]

It couldn't be! Harvey said nothing as he fought the idea. His Dad was the better parent.. He at lest tried to understand him.... His Mom always tried to control him and make him do things he hated!! His grey eyes never left the boy's face. "He was killed during the bombings at the capital. This nation is coming apart at its seams, and you call me a liar?" Nathan asked his voice monotone but heavy. "I am far from a liar. I seek knowledge and truth only. If you are unwilling to accept it, look into the matter of yourself. However, at this time," the redhead stopped and folded his arms in front of himself. "Give me five reasons I shouldn't have my wife teleport you home." [/scrolly]

No... His Dad... No... The truth had started to sink in. Why would anyone lie about something like that. Why??? Why had his Father been down there?? Why did he have to be killed??? Harvey then stopped trying to struggle, closed his eyes and started to cry. He may have been on rocky terms with his Father.... But he still loved him, way more then he did his evil mother. But now he was gone and all he had left was his evil mother.... " Dad... Why?....." the young boy said in a weak tearful voice. After moment Harvey looked back at Nathan, " I.. I sorry. Please don't send me back yet... I.. I want to return in my own terms and with my friend Sofia. I...." Harvey fell silent unable to say anymore as tears threatened to over come him. [/scrolly]

The boy was clearly getting that the information was true, but he had not said anything that could be convincing......wait... Sofia? Right, the other young child that was traveling with him, or had been at least from what his mother had said. Where was she? Grey eyes flashed this way and that considering where she could be. Amina? was the thought that was directed towards the Gardevoir. Unable to sense and keep her Psychic held, Amina slowly released the Psychic before quickly scanning the area. 'She's not here...' was all the Gardevoir replied with. Nathan simply sighed and looked back down at Harvey. "Where is Sofia Brooke?" was the only question that was extended back. [/scrolly]

His body shaking as he cried. The last time he saw his father they had a fight.. Now he would never be able to make up with him.. Tell him how much he loved him... What made it even worse the last words he spoke to his father where...... " I hate you!....." Now all he had was his mother who he felt hated him as much as he hated her. Rayna ran back to Harvey's side and have a hateful glare at Nathan and Ami. She then hugged her trainer as she herself started to tear up. Shinx also ran back to Harvey and cuddled into him. She had no idea what was going on but she did not like to see Harvey crying like this!! Rufflet landed near Harvey but just stood there not knowing what to do. Sapphire stayed close to Harvey and her good eye started to tear up, she then nuzzled Harvey trying to comfort him. When Nathan asked where Sofia was Harvey did not say anything at first. He then looked up at Nathan with a glare. " She is visiting some friends.. I came out here to walk and play with my pokemon to wait till she was done." the young boy answered. [/scrolly]

The leers he received didn't phase the redhead at all. "I see," he finally replied before crossing his arms and continuing to stare at Harvey. "You will have a lot of explaining to do," he sighed quietly before shaking his head and uncrossing his arms. "Are you sure you can trust whatever friends she is with?" he asked before looking sharply back at Harvey. "They could kidnap her or harm her and you wouldn't be around to protect her." Ami opened her mouth but shut it again as Nathan spoke. [/scrolly]

He slowly looked up and glared darkly at the older man. " I don't have to explain myself to anyone. I will go home, and these are trusted friends She and I have known for a long time." Harvey said and he took a few steps back. Ugh how Harvey hated grown ups. Always looking down on him. Say for a maid back at home. Miss Bennett, she was the only grown up who treated him with respect... Rufflet flew up and landed on Harvey's shoulder. Rayna stood by her trainer's side as did Shinx and Sapphire. Harvey then turned and started to walk away. " I will go back to her now..." Harvey said and hoped Nathan would leave him alone. [/scrolly]

"HAAARRRRVVVVEEEEYYYY"Sofia called out excitedly as she continued to run, oblivious to Amina and Nathan for the moment,"Harvey! Look what what I got! Isn't she adorable?! I saw her in a store and she looked so sad I just had to get her. I named her Angel because she's just so sweet and adorable and-..."she continued in an excited voice as she reached Harvey before suddenly realizing that they weren't alone. Giggling slightly in embarrassment, Sofia turned to Nathan and Amina and did a curtsy of sorts,"Sorry I didn't see you, I just got so excited over my sweet lil' Angel~,"she explained in a cheerful voice before seeming to feel the tension in the air and mellowing somewhat. Looking at Harvey, Sofia frowned slightly,"Harvey...? What's going on?"she asked quietly, her earlier excitement all but forgotten.[/scrolly]

They were in Era, the land of rogues who believed they could do what they want, and rather than stay with his friend, he let her go with someone else? Maybe it was just what he had been through. Maybe it was just the fact that he was very aware of their ages. Either way, Nathan Atra wasn't pleased with the situation. He would tell this defiant little noble that he would go with him and find Sofia. Then he would escort them both home... as much work as that was, sigh. He had better things to do than baby sit, but he was also a noble and had a responsibility to other nobles even if they were not directly from his cardinal region. Just as he was about to reply to the boy's statement, a voice rang out over the hill, and Nathan found himself looking upwards to find a blond haired bouncy child coming down it..... And that would be Sofia. Breathing out a sigh of both relief and irritation, he watched as she moved down before finally coming to a halt. Looking back at the two of them now, Nathan looked sideways towards Amina--- Nathan deadpanned. Ami Atra couldn't help but smle at the girl that had just come down the hill. For all she was, she loved children, especially such lighthearted ones. 'Oh hello there...' the Gardevoir smiled directing her thoughts solely at Sofia. 'My name is Amina, and this is my husband Nathan. We're nobles from the south," she smiled lightly ever still. 'Did you know how much your parents want you to come home? They're worried, dear.' He had no idea what to think or feel. His father was gone, and now he had to go back to a evil mother who did not care about him at all... he had a wonderful year for it only to end like this... Now Harvey had to brace himself to be yelled by his Mother.... And Sofia's family.... No doubt they would be mad it him.... But it was not his fault that Sofia wanted to go with him... But everything was his fault and he always got in trouble... He had not dealt with any of that on the road... The last year had been the best one of his life. But now that was coming to end.. His back to Nathan tears started to fall from his cheeks, why did his life have to suck so much back at home??? But did anyone care??? NO!! Everyone thought they knew what was best for him. And told him to do this and that without even asking what he wanted... He hated life as a noble... He had fun just being a normal boy the past year... Harvey's head shot up when he heard Sofia's cheerful voice. The teary eyed young man smiled a little. If anyone made him feel happy it was Sofia, never did she ever looked down on him. Yeah she made him do things he did nit want to do at times.. But she was always there for him and always made him smile. When she started to show off her new pokemon Harvey smiled weakly, she was so happy... He could never be able to tell her what had just heard and was feeling right now. Though when the question came Harvey's smile faded and he looked down off to the side. " Nothing... Sofia we are going home..." Was all the young boy could say at the moment. Rayna looked up at Harvey and just wanted to take away his pain. And Nathan was not helping at all, Rayna looked over at Sofia with tears in her eyes. To help show that Harvey was not alright. I just wanted to play with Harvey and it's been so much fun and-..."she continued before her voice trailed off as tears began to form in her eyes,"...I didn't mean to make them worry..." Hearing Harvey speak, Sofia looked up at him and frowned slightly, tilting her head to one side thoughtfully,"...something's wrong with you Harvey...I can tell..."she said in a calm, if concerned voice,"Harvey...what's wrong...?"she repeated, setting Angel down as she spoke and put a gentle hand on Harvey's shoulder. The little Pichu wasn't quite sure what was going on and just flopped down on the grass.[/scrolly]

It wasn't that he didn't have sympathy; it was more the fact that he had to be the grown up at the moment and wasn't used to having to deal with children like this. Sure he talked to teenagers, but they were usually more mature at the very least. Amina, meanwhile, smiled weakly at Sofia. 'Yes they love you so much and are worried for your safety. You've been gone' she replied quietly before watching Sofia turn to Harvey.The Gardevoir mentally sighed and looked sideways at Nathan. 'Nathan, we should have kids' came the thought that suddenly forced a surprised laugh to come into Nathan. Raising a hand to his mouth and covering it, he stood there silently for a few seconds mentally trying to figure out whether she was serious or not. 'Seriously' she projected.
