All right, so...
Ether hasn't been active in how long?
My muse is stone cold dead.
Jay's muse is stone cold dead.
Elayne is trying but has work and some RL issues lately making her stressed.
Our dear mods are trying, but there's only so much they can do essentially-alone.
SO. What do we do about this?
Until further notice, I am freezing time in Era at ROUGHLY MARCH 31.
If you have already created threads dated after this (whether a specific date/month is given or you just mentioned it being spring recently), this is fine. Just play them out as you were, and don't worry about it.
Just PLEASE, TRY TO LIMIT NEW THREADS, and if you make new ones, try to keep them around the end of winter/very beginning of spring, or literally-one-day-after pre-existing threads. (New members, of course you guys can make new threads, but try to make their setting some time in the December 2011 to April 2012 range.)
The point of this freeze is both to give the mass of members who have found themselves busy and/or museless as of late time to recover, and EVERYONE time to catch up.
When the Capital was attacked back in November, I had plans for something else to happen within two or three months. Instead, it seemed nearly all the threads from that were still going, and it felt kind of overwhelming to try to throw something else on.
So let's take as long as needed, here. Eran life is going to slow way down to stop rushing our real lives and let us catch up here.
When it seems like everyone's feeling more up to par, and most of the threads seem to be winding down or wrapped up, time will start moving again SLOWLY. For instance, I will make it "April" for maybe two or three months, then "May" for quite a while, and so-on. Time will probably keep moving slowly like that until we catch back up to the current month next year, or a good point is reached to take a site-wide time skip to catch up. In the latter case, every effort will be made to ensure everyone has time to plan and discuss with each other what character developments will take place in those few months to a year we may be skipping.
Is everyone cool with this?
