Name: Jennifer Anne Baudin
Age: 19
DOB: July 18th, 1991
Gender: Female
Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual, but she does find some women attractive. Not so much so to sleep with them or date them, but she won't deny they have qualities she finds attractive.
Occupation Daughter of a Count in the West, currently training to take her parents' place. For nobles, the Baudin family is fairly down to earth, and actually hears the commoners. Even hire them as butlers, grounds keepers, cooks, ect., giving them above fair wages. (Unlike many noble families, who pay their help with housing and food, the Baudins provide room and board, in addition to paying them for their work.)
Affiliation: She and her family are loyalists to Queen Alice, but rather loathed Nolan while he was King.
Party: PC
Supplies:
-x5 Pokeballs
-Large messenger-style bag; glasses, wallet, brush, hair ties, small pencil case, two sketch books, iPod with wall charger and earbuds, feminine products, cell phone.
-Two small knives; usually hidden up her sleeves or in her boots.
-Extra clothes, for just about any situation. (Not always with her, usually kept at home.)
-Knife gloves; she wears them on rare occasion. Special gloves that reach to her elbows, metal plated. Tips of the fingers wield three inch blades which are extraordinarily sharp. Her parents do not know she owns these. They are more for show than actualy use.
Appearance: It's both rather hard and sickeningly easy to describe Jennifer. She is about five foot, four inches in height, making her average among normal people. Her weight, though, is another thing all together, as she weighs about two hundred and seventy-five pounds. The fat on her clings mostly to her rump, legs, belly, and upper arms, making her soft and jiggly in all kinds of ways she hates. The only good thing about being so heavy set is the fact it also gives her a rather large breast size. But, it's like putting a bandaid on half torn off arm; not enough. Moving on, her skin is surprisingly smooth and very fair, a few freckles and beauty marks dotting it here and there. But her skin burns very easily and will only appear tanned after a very bad sunburn heals up. In spite of the fat clinging to her, her limbs are nicely proportioned to her body, giving her good mobility for a girl her size.
Facially, there isn't much to distinguish Jennifer from the rest of the human population. Average in features like her forehead, cheeks, and lips, with a somewhat strong jaw and stubborn chin. Her nose is a little more large than normal, most likely from taking a few hits to the face when she was younger and goofing off. Her eyes are one of the few things about herself she likes. They're expressive, the iris hued the same color as storm clouds. They seem to get darker when she's upset and lighter when she's happy, but it is merely a trick of the light and how she holds her head. Her eye brows are a little thick for a girl, simply because she refuses to pluck or wax, having a slightly low pain tolerance. Atop her head and cascading all around her face is a mass of dark brown hair which reaches down to her mid-back. Her hair is very thick, glossy, and hangs in naturally occurring, very loose curls.
As for fashion, Jennifer often wears what she likes. Being noble has it's pluses, as she has money enough to have her clothes custom made for her. She prefers outfits that give the illusion of her waist being smaller and her chest larger, and she adores things made of the softest fabrics and leathers. She prefers loose long sleeves over form fitting sleeves and short sleeves, but there are the few occasional tops she'll wear that have something different. Of course, like many girls her age, she would much rather wear pants over skirts, but her noble heritage demands that she wear skirts a fair bit of the time. For foot wear, she absolutely loves boots of many different kinds, as well as skater style sneakers and pretty sandals. On the color wheel, Jen will often pick blues and purples because they are her favorites, but she seems to enjoy the way earthtones and soft greens look with her skin tone and hair. She doesn't wear much in the way of jewelry, just simple earrings and a thin gold chain around her neck. On the chain is a gold pendant, circled with soft white pearls. A Saint Christopher's medal, the image of the patron saint of travelers imprinted upon the shiny gold. The necklace never leaves her neck, no matter what she wears.

Personality: Probably the first things people notice about Jennifer are very obvious. One would be how savagely down she can be on herself. Another is the fact she can be sickening optimistic and try to smile through the pain. But, behind this, not many people know about the parts of her that are hidden under layers of masks and self hate. There is so much more, if only she would let people see...
As said, Jennifer can be so optimistic, one might want to punch her. She brings up a bright smile in a heartbeat, and will almost try too hard to inject humor into the situation. She cannot stand for the people around her to be sad, and will do her best to make them feel better. If you aren't careful, she might just resort to tickle attacking you! But she'll often sacrifice her own pride and comfort to make others happy. Just to see that she made someone smile, it can mean the world to her. This can make her quite the sucker for 'hopeless puppies', because she will work so hard to please them, and not even realize that she might be being used until the last moment.
These qualities can make her a wonderful friend. For her friends, Jennifer would do anything. And she would do anything to keep them safe. There is no force in the world like a mother protecting her young, no force more terrifying. And she is about the only thing to rival that force when it comes to her friends and family. No one messes with them and comes out unphased. She is savage, brutal, and merciless. She refuses to let her loved ones be harmed, physically, mentally, or emotionally. This often leads into her temper flaring up and her rash side coming out in full swing. Not a good combination in the least…
Speaking of her temper, Jennifer does have a helluva one. She hides it well with her ability to walk away from confrontation, but she has a reputation. She doesn't start fights, she finishes them. But there are times when her anger gets the better of her, leading her to do rash things. And her temper has different phases and levels. There's the general bad mood people usually see. Then there comes her yelling, slamming doors, and throwing anything she can. Then it sometimes reaches the point where she will punch (as in seriously punch, not some girly hit) anything that will give her satisfaction (like walls, doors, anything solid, even the person who pissed her off). There are also times were she get so upset that she will shake and cry uncontrollably, usually in the cases where she couldn't vent her anger in another form. The scariest level of her anger has to be when she goes completely calm. Just calm…Like the calm right before a nuke is set off. Seriously, if you piss her off to that degree, it might be best if you avoid her for a little while…
Fear is something Jennifer doesn't like to show. But she can feel it very strongly. She has an incredible fear of many Ghost-Type Pokemon, one that can reduce her to tears, even to a catatonic state. She fears driving in the sense that she is terrified of taking the wheel herself. Death is a topic she avoids, for the simple fact she fears that there might be nothing after death. And there are a few things that are more general, such as many insect Pokemon, vomiting or other people vomiting, swimming where she cannot touch or see the bottom, and drunken people. More seriously, she has a major fear of suffocation, drowning, and not being able to breathe in general, due to her asthma.
Sadness is something all beings must deal with. Jennifer is no different. She cries, gets depressed, not that strange. Her tarnished heart of gold has been broken and mended, just like any other person. She may dwell on these feelings for a little too long at times, but once she works them out, she’s just fine. Simply being allowed to cry or listen to music that fits her mood. Now and then, her self-destructive thoughts take hold of her, causing her to sink into a depression that can last for days, even weeks. It’s rather hard for her to shake that off, as it is self inflicted, but Jen usually can rebound from it and go back to normal. It’s hard, living like a ridiculed jester when you should be treated with respect, or at least compassion…
Speaking of her self-destruction, Jennifer is rather harsh upon herself. She finds herself ugly on most days, with a possible ‘average’ on the days she feels generous. She tends to compare herself to other women, and feels incredibly incompetent when forced to stand next to them. She’ll often become sarcastic and prickly, just because she outweighs most men she’s encountered, and just about all of the women. God forbid any person call themselves ‘fat’ around her. She will seriously snap and jump all over their cases, hissing out all the reasons why they aren’t ‘fat’ and that they should NEVER call themselves such again. She hates it when people do that, for the simple fact that when they call themselves ‘fat’, they still weigh a lot less than she does herself. This also leads to her becoming hopeless and even snide when it comes to finding a partner. She keeps telling herself ‘What guy would ever love a woman like me?’ and things of the like. She believes herself truly unlovable when it comes to intimate relationships. This mindset is so set in that she in fact becomes upset or terrified if a guy shows any kind of interest in her. It truly is a shame…
Speaking of love…Jennifer often can’t (or refuses to) tell the line between sheer lust and true love. She has no real ‘taste’ in guys, often liking one aspect here, another aspect there. She does, though, have a thing for ‘strong arms, pretty eyes, and no happy trail’. Otherwise, it’s often something far less superficial that she’ll find attractive. Such as a deep chuckle, and a contagious laugh. A good sense of humor, and great manners. A touch of perversion, and a lot of compassion. Imperfections, weaknesses, fears, yet the strength to accept them and the bravery to face them. But, these are things of love. She is still a young woman, and still very much prone to acts of sheer lust, if only in her mind. Yeah, she is still turned on by the whole ‘bad boy’ persona, and bloody hell, what straight woman wouldn’t find those physically perfect guys attractive? Slowly, though, she is growing out of it…
Other: On her iPod, she has two main playlists. She adores music, so it’s a common sight to see her listening to it. (Playlist1 – Playlist2) Art is another love of Jennifer’s, and it is one of the most common ways she expresses herself. While she doesn’t mind showing what she’s drawn when asked to, she will quickly get highly pissed off if you try to take/steal her art away.
Family: ~Diane Baudin, mother, 51 y/o. Jennifer and Diane have a very close relationship, much closer than many mother/daughter pairs have. They talk about everything, and it’s very rare indeed when Diane doesn’t know something in her daughter’s life.
~William Baudin, father, 49 y/o. Jennifer surely is daddy’s little girl! And probably always will be. The two have always had a close bond, Bill always trying to protect his baby girl.
~Anthony Valdez, brother(half), 26 y/o. The difference in appearance and parentage matters not to these two. They care for each other and look after one another. No one messed with Jen if Tony is there. He will fuck you up.
~Anthony Valdez Jr, nephew, 4 y/o. HE’S SO CUTE! Jen normally doesn’t like little kids, but she ADORES her nephew. And he seems to be getting more and more comfortable with her, which she loves.
History: Jennifer Anne Baudin was born on a warm summer evening on July 18, nineteen years ago. From the first moment her parents laid eyes on her, they fell in love with her. No, Jennifer’s tale is not full of woe, not from her parents at least. This family is very tight nit, hurting when one hurts and laughing when one laughs. This close bond started, in fact, 26 years ago. Diane was married to another man, and she had a son with him. But soon after Anthony’s birth, they divorced. Diane moved away, taking her son with her, wanting nothing to do with her former husband. Dispite his weak efforts, even Anthony came to see his father with disgust. About seven years after that, Diane met William. The two fell in love and married, soon becoming blessed with a daughter. Even before Jennifer was born, William took care of Anthony like the boy was blood. Maybe better.
Because of the environment she was raised within, Jennifer began to naively think that everyone was raised like this and held the same values as her family did. When she was just shy of five years old, she and her family moved away from Era, their country of birth. They traveled to far off Hoenn region, moving into the town of Verdanturf, though the reasons for this were always kept away from Jennifer. Due to Hoenn’s lacking of noble status, the Baudin family was simply placed into the ‘upper crust’ class and left to their devices. Verdanturf lacked any school system that the noble family would have liked, but it was law that all children under 16 years of age must go to school. Thus, Jennifer was forced to go to public schools. Kindergarden through fourth grade went by smoothly enough, with minimal trouble. It was when fifth grade started that she began to have trouble…At that point in her life, Jen had noticed that many of the friends she had made were gone, off on Pokemon journeys. Sure, the children were allowed to take a single Pokemon to school, but that was different. Jennifer wanted to go were her friends were!
But, her parents wouldn’t hear anything of it. They were very protective of their daughter, and instead placated her by giving her a Pokemon. Her first, in fact. A rather strange Drowzee. He was thin for his species, and she thought he was much more handsome than the other Drowzee she’d seen. She promptly named him Burkhard, often shortening it to Burk. Still…Even with Burkhard there now, Jennifer began to have trouble in school. Her grades were slipping, and she was prone to simply not doing her work. She used to be an A, A-B student. What was going on? When her parents tried to question Burkhard, the Drowzee seemed to not know what was going on. To be honest, he did know, but Jen had made him promise not to tell anyone…Jen continued through her fifth year of school, and soon graduated from the elementary school to the local middle school. That awful school…
It was soon found out that, after a few months into her sixth grade year, Jennifer was being savagely picked upon. Her naïve and compassionate nature was the choice prey of the bullies, and they surely did feast. Even when Burkhard tried to defend his human friend, the bullies’ Pokemon attacked and sometimes really hurt him. It was soon after a really bad attack that Jennifer’s parents were fully made aware of this. Why? Why would their little girl hide this? Jen tried cover it up, saying she could deal with it. Burkhard was left asking himself, after she had said such things, ‘Then why? Why do you cry at night? Why do you cry so hard that it takes my Hypnosis to calm you…?’ Jen had not been aware that her Drowzee friend had been helping her sleep, and continued to stay oblivious…Not for long…
As Jennifer graduated to the seventh grade, things only got worse. Worse and worse. It was a never ending cycle. Jennifer was near failing a few of her classes, and she began to hang out with the wrong people. Her new crowd were picked on, like herself, but instead of bowing their heads and taking it, they were planning to fight back. It was about midterm when they launched their attack. Right during lunch hour, the all out brawl between the bullies and the victims exploded. And Jennifer was right in the middle of it. Little did she know, one of her worst adversaries had recently evolved his Pokemon. So did many of his gang members. And the strongest Pokemon they had were a Gengar and a Dusclops. Burkhard, dispite his best efforts, was overpowered by them. Jennifer was drug from the fight, the ghosts mentally torturing her, filling her head with awful thoughts, phasing through her body, gripping her heart and spine. It got bad enough were they triggered her then dormant asthma, causing her to have a terrible attack. The bullies, who saw her finally collapse and not move, ran in fear that they killed her.
Jennifer woke up in her bed hours later to a worried and upset family. They demanded outright that she tell them what had happened. Everything. And she spilled it all out, breaking down near the end, curling into a ball under her blankets and crying. Burkhard, as was habit for him, used gentle hypnosis to calm her and make her fall to sleep. He stayed with her, keeping watch over her dreams, making sure she got rest. When Jen finally went back to school, she’d discovered that nearly everyone that took part in the brawl was suspended or had been kicked out of the school all together. Yet, this did little to easy her mind. New bullied cropped up to replace the old ones. Jennifer had a hard time making friends, and just barely passed her classes. Finally, her final year at the school had begun. She was beginning to think ‘Yeah, just one more year. Things will be over soon.’ Was she ever wrong. The savage picking on she had been forced to deal with had always been about her weight, or the way she talked. But now people had found new ways to torture her.
They made bigger deals about her weight, to the point of outright starting rumors she was pregnant. They made fun of everything she did, from her laugh to her smile to the way she walked. They had become physical about it, poking her and grabbing at her just to jiggle her. They degraded her in every way they could. It was horrible, and it made Jen beyond miserable. It had made her suicidal. She often thought about dying, just taking one too many sleeping pills, or slitting her own throat. About guns and nooses. Burkhard became incredibly distressed by this, and incredibly protective of his trainer. Going far beyond a normal Pokemon’s affection, he did everything in his power to help her. To make her see death wasn’t the way. The year passed quickly, and Jen only seemed to get worse and worse…
One evening, Burkhard, after making sure Jen was asleep, went out into the night alone. He wanted to be stronger…Wanted to better protect Jennifer…That night, Jennifer had a strange dream. A good looking, teen aged boy came to her in her sleep, sporting a mop of brown hair and gentle, amber colored eyes. He dressed in a yellow tee-shirt, blue jeans, and had a strange white pendant around his neck. He proceeded to hug her and hold her, telling her everything would be okay. Telling her that there are people who love her, and who would missed her greatly if she died. Including himself. She broke, crying in his arms, but was also deeply confused. She did not know a boy like this. Why would he say such things? When she woke up, the spot next to her in her bed was warm, like someone had been sleeping with her. She was very confused by this and proceeded to get up, walking to the living room with sleepy eyes. To her shock, she was greeted not by a Drowzee, but a Hypno! Burkhard gave her a pleasant, but tired smile, hugging her around the waist and then shuffling off to get some sleep. Jen stood there, so confused that she just sat down in the couch and stared at the wall.
Jennifer soon graduated from the hell hole of a middle school. A few weeks later, she and her family moved back to the Era region. What a relief! Jennifer felt more comfortable in her region of birth, as did the rest of her family. Seemingly right after the move, Jen adopted a young Houndour puppy. The poor little fella just begged to be taken in, so small and thin. The Houndour, soon named Benjamin (or Benji for short), wormed his way into her heart and never left. Ahh…Era…This is where she belonged. For her high school years, personal tutors were hired. Jennifer did much better in this method, advancing quickly and earning her education much faster. It came to the point that it was time Jennifer start becoming more active in the noble community. Her parents groomed her and took her out, trying to help ease her into the mindset that this was her new life. While some things she readily accepted, others….Not so much. They wanted her to go to balls and socialize. Jen was more contented to go the markets or stay at home. Even though she was away from the bullies that had tortured her she was still very much withdrawn.
Around the age of eighteen, Jennifer was given a rather large guardian Pokemon. A Kurimugan, which was named Farvardin. She was large for her species, rough looking and gruff in personality. But there was an underlying compassion to the dragon that was little seen. Jen, at first, wasn’t sure about the large beast, almost afraid of her. The dragon Pokemon snorted, contenting herself with doing what she was supposed to do; guarding Jennifer. During this time, King Nolan fell, much to the relief of the small family. Yet, the state of Era only seemed to decline more. The Baudins tried to help, taking people in and hiring them on. For nobles, the Baudins had a reputation for being as open-minded and down-to-earth as a commoner. People easily came to like them. And, if they didn’t…Well, it’s not like the family could make people like them. Jennifer was both afraid and fascinated by the anarchy was reigned outside her home. One evening, she decided to go out to a party that some lower class people invited her to. She had never been to a commoner’s party, and wanted to see what it would be like…Oh boy…
Never…Never had Jennifer seen anything like this…The way they danced, the way they talked…Worse yet, drinks were passed around. No drink at the party was safe; all had some degree of alcohol in it. Jen stayed as far away from the main part of the party as possible. But, she refused to chicken out and go home. It wasn’t until some drunk guys got it in their head she looked lonely that Jen realized just how much of a fish out of water she was. The pair of them all but pinned her to the wall, ‘dancing’ against her…She was terrified. She let out a small scream and fell back to her rump, and that was enough to trigger her Pokemon to burst from their ‘Balls. Burkhard and Farvardin pushed the two men back, while Benjamin crawled into her lap, growling fiercely at any that drew near. Jennifer fled the party. Once outside, Burkhard forced her to ride on Farvardin’s back, both her and Benjamin returned themselves. Farvardin didn’t wait any longer, taking off. Jennifer yelped, clinging to the dragon’s neck and squeezing her eyes closed, praying it would be over soon. Once she was home, she fell to the couch, passing out rather promptly. Burkhard and Benjamin released themselves again, cuddling up and sleeping with her, Farvardin contenting herself to sleeping as close as she could on the floor. It took about a week before Jennifer would even step foot outside her home. Since, Jennifer has yet to ever go near another party, even ones hosted by nobles.
Jennifer, by choice, has been living a quiet life in her nineteenth year. Not too much has happened as of late, and that’s just the way she likes it. But, alas, that cannot stand for long, can it…?

(Note: This is indeed a self-incert character. With her appearance and personality, I really did bear my soul out to you. (Even in her history, there are only a few differences (basically to make it fit with the genre). Last names were changed to at least give a little protection to identitiy, but that is even my real family...) Try not to take advantage of that, mkay?)

RP Sample Look at Maverick Van Rossum.
