Until the last breath leaves my body,

Loki pulled his paw back for another drain punch, but Akira's voice made him pause, looking up at the boy as he slowly walked closer, "Loki, that's enough. I think we've made our point."

Confused, Loki tilted his head. Why didn't Akira want him to knock the Blaziken out? Wouldn't it be easier to catch that way? Standing up straight, he lowered his paw, dispersing the attack.

Seeing the question clear in Loki's eyes, Akira smiled softly as he stopped next to the two, "We're looking for a partner, not a servant, Loki." As he finished answering the silent question that Loki had made, the noble turned to the Blaziken, looking the large pokemon up and down. "Your strength is beautiful. I honestly didn't think we could overcome you, but I don't see a point in making you hurt anymore than you already do."

Stepping closer to the large pokemon, he closed his eyes and pulled out a great ball, "If you come with us, I can see to it that you'd become stronger, not to mention a valued partner. Hell, I'd even be happy if you could train Loki a little." As he spoke that, the Riolu crossed his arms and looked away with a snort. Great... more teachers. "My point is... I'd be honored if you'd join us, friend."

Looking back, Loki couldn't help but to smile. Akira was always kind toward pokemon, he guessed that even when he was out trying to catch something even as powerful as the Blaziken here, that didn't change.

The Blaziken managed to force himself into a half standing position and stared at the human that had come forwards. A heart such as that, I can understand the Blaziken thought to himself after a moment before looking at the Riolu. After another moment, he stood upright and walked half in pain towards the human. "Ken, Blaze-ken," he stated out loud in a calm assertive voice 'I understand you' more or less. The Blaziken stared at the great ball for a moment before holding out a hand towards it.

With a smile, Loki stepped next to Akira, looking up at the Blaziken, "Welcome aboard, friend." He finished with a nod as the noble lifted the ball into the air and tossed it gently toward the pokemon with a deep breath, trying to calm his speeding heart from the adrenaline he was experiencing.

The Blaziken was hit by the pokeball but not hard, and in that moment, he disappeared within it in a red vacuum of light. The pokeball fell to the ground and moved only once before finally coming to rest at peace.

Personality: Honorable and willing to fight when necessary, this Blaziken has a strong sense of what is right in the world as well as a core need to improve himself. He will work hard but detests the idea of being treated as a servant and will refuse such titles if they are ever presented to him. He has taken a fancy to Akira's Riolu and wishes to train alongside the other pokemon.

Seeing the ball still, Loki leaped up and down a couple times in joy before rushing toward the ball. Stopping before it, he leaned down and picked it up gently, observing the sphere as he made his way back to Akira. Looking up at his trainer with a large grin on his face, he held the great ball with the Blaziken within it high above his head for Akira to take.

Returning the pokemons smile, he took the ball and placed it with the others before pulling another out, looking down at Loki, "You did a good job Loki, time for a rest." With a nod at the words, the pokemon returned to its ball. Moments later, another pokemon was out of its ball, standing in the spot the Riolu once stood, Timcampy the Pichu. "I don't think I'm quite done yet, let's see what else we can find, hm?"

With an enthusiastic nod, Tim padded up to Akira, climbing up the offered arm to his shoulder, holding on tightly as the noble slowly made his way through the forest once again.

The air was crisp and rather cold to most anyone who was out there in the night. To keep warm, some pokemon had huddled together for the night. Such instances could be seen on what was coming up ahead. Five Zigzagoon were all huddled in a group trying to keep themselves warm within a brush area not too far from where Akira was walking now.

[★ Ryuujin !]

Able to see the pokemon from his high spot on Akira, Timcampy wiggled slightly and pointed at them, "Chu!" Looking in the direction that his pokemon pointed, Akira moved that way, looking down at them gently. He stared at them for a moment before a smile worked its way onto his face. "It is a cold night..."

As if to back up what he said, Tim shivered slightly, his tail twitching. Akira on the other hand was quite warm in his normal attire. The mix of having grown up in the fridged land and the silver and black coat he usually wore was enough for him to be able to stand it.

Continuing to look at the pokemon, he kneeled down slightly, Tim leaping from his shoulder to walk over to them and poke one gently.

The Zigzagoon that was poked had been curled around another, and after a moment, he turned his head and looked at the Pichu. "Zagoon zig-zagoon," he answered back as if saying the words 'isn't it cold out?'

Nodding, Tim twitched his tail to where it almost looked like he was wagging it, "Chu, Pi-chu!" He spoke happily in return before standing and pointing back at Akira, "Pi, pi, pi... chu!" His words agreeing with the wild pokemon before explaining how he seems warm with Akira.

The noble smiled slyly at the Zigzagoon, unsure of how the wild pokemon would react to him as Timcampy moved back over toward him to sit on the leg he was kneeling on, clapping his tiny yellow paws together.

One Zigzagoon stared for a bit before looking at the others who had gone back to huddling. After a few seconds, she slowly broke off from the group and made her way over towards the human slowly as she carefully looked up at him in the snow. "Zig?" she asked the Pichu more or less a 'him?' sort of wording.

[★ Ryuujin !]

With a large grin, the Pichu nodded and clapped his hands together again, "Chu!" He made a noise similar to a giggle as Akira placed his hand on the electric mouse's head and scratched it slightly. Smiling down at his pokemon, Akira shifted slightly to kneel down completely, Pichu sliding up on his lap, out of the snow completely, "Pi, pi, chu!"

The words he spoke of his trainer were fond, it was obvious enough in the tone, and it made the noble happy to know his pokemon liked him.

The Zigzagoon watched this and nodded to herself for a moment making her own name comments on such a thing before finally taking a few more steps closer to the human. "Zig zig zig..." she said aloud as she came closer and closer to the point Akira could easily reach out and pet her.

Timcampy watched the Zigzagoon closely as she came closer, knowing that there was no malice in her actions - he was simply curious to see how she would react to his trainer. Tilting his head back slightly, he looked up at Akira as the noble's grey gaze shifted from him to the wild pokemon before him, a gentle smile growing on his soft features. Leaning forward slightly, he reached a hand out to her to allow her to check it out before daring to run his hand through her fur slowly. "You're so soft..."

The Zigzagoon felt the hand on her fur and simply stared up at the man with rather large eyes. She had not expected such a compliment and from a human no less... It was rather.. nice. "Zagoon...zig..." she answered back as if in the words of 'thank you'. She smiled lightly up at the human and turned her head to one side and then the other slowly.

Not once dropping his smile, Akira continued to run his hand through the pokemons fur. His words were true, he had yet to come across a pokemon as soft as the female before him, and he was enjoying its feel. "I bet it keeps you fairly warm in this relentless weather, hm?"

Clapping his paws once again, Tim giggled, "Chu!", his word meaning a simple, See! to the Zigzagoon. He loved his trainer who was more gentle than some would expect.

The Zigzagoon nodded with a light smile back at the Pichu. "Zigzag," she answered back as though saying 'yes you're right'. She had expected to fear the human... but... he really didn't seem so bad. Moving forwards a bit more, she pushed her coat onto his hand more and smiled happily.

As the wild pokemon suddenly shoved more of her fur into his hand, the noble couldn't help but to laugh lightly. He had the sudden urge to pick the small pokemon up and hug it, but reserved himself, not wanting to startle her. "You're really a swetheart..." He seemed to mull over his words as he spoke them, watching the pokemon smile. With the way she was acting now, one could've sworn that her nervous behavior around him before was simply an act.

The Zigzagoon liked this human... a lot. He was gentle and didn't seem mean at all. Brushing forwards still and almost trying to get in his lap, the little furry pokemon all but made a purring sound. "Goon zag goooon," she said quietly to herself.

Closing his eyes as he continued to smile, Akira brought the small pokemon into his lap. "Affectionate too..." Climbing up onto Akira's shoulder to give the Zigzagoon room, Tim clapped his hands again, sending small sparks from his cheeks. Through this, not once did the noble stop running his hands through the small pokemons pelt before an idea came into his mind, "Would you like to come with us? Out of the cold and see the world with us?"

The Zigzagoon blinked and looked up at Akira for a moment wondering what he meant. However, after a few seconds, she had a general idea. Thinking about it for a moment and looking up at the gentle man, she finally nodded. "Goooon," he answered back smiling lightly.
