Seth saw the steelix burrow underground and could feel the vibrations of its movements below his feet. He considered making Chaos use dig as well, but thought better of it. The steelix was going to come up soon anyway so going underground would be pointless. A better idea would be to wait for the steelix to show itself, then strike - and strike HARD.
"Wait until you see it come up, then use fire blast." Chaos waited for a moment, his eyes watching the battlefield warily. The snake erupted from the ground in front of him and immediately the tyranitar fired a close-range fire blast.

Upon coming up from the ground, the Steelix felt the sudden smash of fire on his entire being. He let out a sharp roar and fell straight backwards trying to force himself up. However, for a brief moment he was unable to, yet in a matter of seconds, the Steelix was up again. The damage had been done... he was burned... and now it was starting to hurt him with each passing second. Refusing to give up, the Steelix launched another Iron Tail attack.

The iron tail smashed down on Chaos but he resisted its force. He would not go down, even to a super effective attack. Chaos turned and grabbed the steelix by the tail. This pokemon would regret trying to fight him.
Seth looked encouraged by the pokemon's apparent weakness. Its strength was failing and it would only be a matter of time before he caught it. The trainer chuckled as Chaos held onto the tail that had slighted it only seconds before. "Now throw it down with a superpower attack." Chaos grinned then focused all his strength into the ultimate fighting move.

Suddenly slammed hard with the attack, the Steelix was left falling back on the ground making no movement what so ever. Right then and there, the caves began to shake violently, and a giant rock smashed straight onto the Steelix. It only seemed to wound the Steelix even more as it fell into unconsciousness.

Chaos grinned, displaying his sharp teeth. He breathed in deeply, as if to inhale the scent of victory. <Yeah that's right.> He said while looking down at the fallen steelix. <And you thought you could handle me?> He laughed a little to himself, <Good one.> The tyranitar turned back to his human, giving Seth space to do with the steelix what he will.
The trainer stepped forward and threw another pokeball at the fainted pokemon. This time, a capture was sure to take place. He looked forward to battling with the steelix. It was already quite strong and with his training, it would be unstoppable.

The pokeball hit the Steelix, opened, and consumed him completely. Falling to the ground, the pokeball twitched once before it finally rested in silence. Name: *you chose the name* Species: Steelix Gender: Male Ability: Rock Head Personality: Unwilling to back down until completely knocked out, this Steelix won't even stop to reason a battle. Instead, he simply fights until it is finished whether he thinks he is going to win or not. He loves picking fights with strong pokemon and beating them with his wide range of attacks. Beware his temper for he will turn on anyone when angry.
Just then, the entire floor area of the large basin seemed to cave inwards dropping everyone and everything down into the next few floors.

Seth tried to claw at the wall to keep him from falling through the hole in the floor, but it was futile. He and his pokemon fell down the gaping expanse to who-knows-where. The tyranitar landed with a thud before its trainer, and Seth fell right on top of the spiky pokemon. It was definitely not the softest landing he had ever felt. He groaned then rolled off his pokemon and onto the cool cave floor. It was dark, very dark. Seth peered through the shadows then realized that his torch was gone.
"Aw shit!" He exclaimed in frustration. He crawled around on the floor, tentatively feeling around for the stick he had dropped. Seth looked to where Chaos was, "Use sunny day for me." The Tyranitar growled then summoned a light which might be mistaken for the sun. Now that the cave was lit, Seth had to figure out where he was and how he could get out. He had accomplished what he came to the caves for, and now he just wanted to get back in the fresh air.

Not far off, an Ekans hissed rather in irritation at nearly being landed on. She had not expected the ceiling to cave in and bring a Tyranitar and a human with it. However, now she was simply warning them not to get too close unless they were asking for a fight which in the end also meant a bite or two.

Seth glanced quickly at the ekans. It was coiled up not far from him. He definitely didn't want a bite from that thing, it would be poisonous and hurt like hell. He would keep his distance and let the snake be. For now, his main prerogative was to get out of the cave in one piece. He hadn't intended on getting lost here. Regardless of his intentions, he was very deep in the caves and didn't have the patience to find the exit. He would just have to improvise and create his own.
Seth looked toward a wall that was on his right side. He placed a hand on it, feeling its thickness. "Use dig through this wall, Chaos." He ordered thoughtfully. He was curious if this plan would work at all.

The wall collapsed as the Dig succeeded in breaking through it. The tunnel that was formed was steep, yet there appeared to be a very small bit of light at the end of it. Was this a way out? One could only tell by trying to get out.

Seth had been hoping for a hole leading to the outside world, but instead he got another tunnel. He sighed then ran a hand through his green hair. He might as well take the tunnel. The light seemed more promising than anything else at the time. "Come on, buddy." He said to his pokemon then began walking down the corridor.

At the end of the tunnel, what appeared to be a light that grew brighter as one drew closer to it. Finally at the end of it, fresh air could be smelled, and the sky could be seen. It appears an exit has been found.
