After hearing her real name being spoken aloud, Alice's heart raced. Panic and adrenaline went wild in her veins and she immediately jumped to her feet. Her shinx fell from the now non-existent lap and hid behind Alice's legs. Her blue eyes were wide, all traces of sleep were now completely gone. Blood rushed to her face which quickly turned a light shade of red. How did this girl know her name? Did she need a better disguise? If she knew then who else knew? Were the rebels coming after her? She was prepared to deny, deny, deny, and throw another sprinkle of denial on there for good measure. Alice? Who me? Nope, you've got the wrong girl.
Oh god. Now the stranger was crying. Alice had no idea how to handle this situation. Perhaps it was a reflex but her hand grabbed Jennifer's mouth and cupped it so no words could leak out. Alice's brow furrowed as she realized that this "stranger" was no stranger at all - it was her cousin Jen. She relaxed a little, but she still couldn't afford to have someone yelling her name in a public place where people could hear. "SHHHH!" She hushed Jennifer while grasping her face. "Don't just yell like that!" She scolded half-heartedly. Alice was mostly confident that no one was coming for her and that she was safe. Regardless, taking chances was a bad thing. This whole "people thinking I'm dead" thing works well for me, and I don't need someone screwing it up. She thought with a shake of her head. "Now sit down." She coaxed, feeling her pulse return to normal.
Still, she was happy to see a friendly face after all this madness. Alice thought briefly on her relationship with her cousin. They weren't the best of friends, but they liked each other enough to cry at a reunion. Alice recalled that she used to think Jennifer was very fake and out to get her at times. Well, beggers can't be choosers and for all Alice knew, this could be her only living relative in the world. She released Jen's face then went in for a hug. "I'm glad to see you're still alive." She said honestly, holding her family member close.

Adrian saw Yue's flygon before she spotted him in the distance. At first she thought it was a wild pokemon and considered capturing it as a companion for Legacy, but as she kept walking Alias came into view. She could only assume that a wild pokemon wouldn't be this interested in her and that it was acting under its trainer's orders. She wasn't sure whether she should call out to him or wait until he saw her. Adrian found herself leaning toward the latter because she felt that yelling was too common for her (she always managed to forget this when angered).
Adrian thought about how long her comrade had been waiting for her at the lab, but then she realized she hardly cared. Her eyes looked the dark building up and down as if she were checking out a prospective lover. There were some things she had previously overlooked in passing. The duchess had only ventured this close to the laboratory a couple times. She remembered being in Cipher's shadow pokemon lab and compared this dying vessel to that hi-tech place. Could her lab live up the expectations in her mind? Of course it could, if a lot of work was put into it.
The duchess reached her partner and waved a bit, "Hello, Yue." She began while taking her sunglasses from her bag. "I hope I didn't keep you waiting too long." That was a lie based on courtesy, but she doubted he could tell. Her eyes were now protected by her glasses and her face remained expressionless.
One of her hands flew to clutch at her tauros's mane. The sand beneath her boots had turned into a vacuum and she was not happy about it. Adrian suspected a mischievous pokemon at work and looked around for the culprit. Unfortunately, there was nothing around but moving sand.

Alice also sighed and Storm collapsed on the floor. The trainer walked over to her pokemon and patted them gently. "Come on guys, let's get out of here." With both Venus and Storm's pokeballs in hand she let them take a well-deserved rest. Then the teen turned and started to make her way out of the temple.

Finally, the stubborn umbreon was down. Now hopefully it would come quietly. Fetching a fourth pokeball Alice lightly tossed it to the wild pokemon. She knew that all of her pokemon were tired and needed to get to a pokemon center. Exploring this place could wait for another day.

Venus looked on sadly, wishing that the umbreon would just end its own misery. She moved to block the shadow ball with another mirror coat. Venus noticed the stiffness in her body and looked helplessly to Alice. The trainer knew that her pokemon were probably in pain as a result of their status condition, but she could atleast make use of it. "Both of you use facade on umbreon." She was a little concerned about running out of pokeballs and decided that she needed to stock up after this was over.

Both of her pokemon were paralyzed and the umbreon was vulnerable. The wild pokemon was probably was weak as it possibly could be without being completely knocked out. If any there was a time to attempt a catch - it was now. Alice took a third pokeball from her backpack and threw it toward the umbreon. Should it escape, then she would worry about what to do with her pokemon.

Alice had awoken even before the other girl had approached her. Her shinx Storm had clawed into her leg and growled loudly. He was her personal alarm system, and could always be counted on to warn her of impending danger. Of course to him, anyone was danger. His view wasn't at all completely incorrect given Alice's situation. Any person could be an enemy with the desire to hurt or kill her. Era was lawless and she was a target. At the sharp pain in her thigh Alice's head shot up, her hat returning to its usual place. "What is it, Storm?" She muttered while squinting into the darkness. She could make out a silhouette against the lights of Escapade and recognized the shape as another person. She sat up, ready to spring and fight if needed.
She could see the young woman better when she came closer, thanks to Dante's flames. It was still dark though, and Alice couldn't recognize the shadowy face of her visitor. She listened to the other's request. Most would think it reasonable to allow company for a few minutes, but Alice was nervous. Although, on second thought she realized that the darkness gave her an advantage and she felt more comfortable spending time with another person when there wasn't adequate lighting.
Alice shrugged. She couldn't just say no, that would be rude. So she motioned to a spot of dirt next to her and said, "Uh, sure. Go ahead." Dante raised his tail a bit, shedding more light on the scene.

The ice shard hit the seel in the back as it tried to escape. It ignored the attack though and continued on its mission. Once he reached the edge of the water the seel looked back and shot another signal beam at the froslass. Then, without seeing if the attack hit, the seel dove into the water.

Oh. Well then you just have to trade in character. There's no rule saying you can't immediately trade back

The seel was confused by the fast sequence of attacks it was bombarded with. First the froslass cloned itself and he didn't know which was the original, and then the ice type tried to act cute. The captivate worked, but seel had no idea what was going on. There was just too much giggling, he decided. The seel was pushed backward by the odd wind and he frowned sadly. All he wanted was to be left alone. Sacrificing some of his energy, the seel created a duplicate of himself using substitute. Then, he tried to make a break for it (albeit a slow one).

Storm was badly hurt by the payback. He fell forward while letting out a cry that broke Alice's heart. He sounded like he was in serious pain, but tenacious as always, Storm pulled himself together and refused to back down. The little electric type wasn't about to let Alice down, he wanted to make her proud.
Alice had a plan that would devastate the umbreon. She called out to both her pokemon, "Venus make it rain," The milotic followed her trainer's command and performed a rain dance. Almost as soon as she started the rain poured down. "And Storm," She looked at her little shinx that was breathing hard, "Use a thunder on umbreon." The electric type focused all his energy into the powerful attack which struck down with force on umbreon.

The trade evolutions will work the same way they do in the game or in the anime - through trading in character.
Happiness is the bond between trainer and pokemon, basically how much the pokemon trusts its trainer and is happy with him/her. This one is kind of tricky, but I'll leave it up to your common sense. Obviously if a pokemon hates its trainer it is not going to evolve through happiness. However, I'd like that you take some time and have a few posts with the pokemon battling or whatever. As in don't evolve your pokemon as soon as you get it/as soon as you start out. In the end a moderator will decide whether or not your pokemon evolves.

Storm was hit badly by the powerful psychic, the attack pushed him against one of the stone walls. He slid down and landed on the floor in a pile. The shinx gave umbreon an angry glare then defiantly stood back up. This umbreon was going down, whether it liked it or not. Despite not being told to by his trainer, Storm stayed true to his name and fired a thunderbolt at the dark type.
Venus was relieved when the umbreon released her tail. She gave her partner in battle a grateful look then returned her attention to the battle. She used another mirror coat to block the psychic attack from hitting her, again returning it back to the sender.

Alice knew that this umbreon was strong, and very determind. It made the battle interesting to have an opponent that would put up so much of a fight. However, Alice was no pushover, either and was not about to give up. The umbreon would make a valued member of her pokemon team, and hopefully both umbreon and abra would warm up to her eventually.
It seemed that shadow ball was this pokemon's favorite tactic. Instead of letting Venus be hit by it again, Alice had another thing in mind. "Use mirror coat to deflect the shadow balls." The milotic's smooth body lit up in a mystical veil of light that prevented the attacks from hitting her. Each one of the attacks ended up bouncing off her forcefield and firing back at the umbreon with twice the power. Unfortunately, mirror coat didn't protect her against the bite and she flinched while the umbreon's fangs sunk into the scales of her tail.
Storm didn't want to be left out of the action. He watched the fight below while routing Venus on. She was one of the most beautiful and powerful pokemon he had ever seen. Storm had confidence in his partner, but still wanted to lend a paw. Alice would let him help out, "Fire a swift attack at umbreon." The shinx let loose a stream of many sharp stars that would be impossible to dodge.
((OOC: Do I get the information on the abra to copy and paste into her pc?))

Matilda's plan was a success and now the seel had no escape route. It could have waddled its way over the ice, but with the astonish attack taking effect that chance was gone. The seel groaned in an ornery fashion, upset that it had to fight. The polar pokemon was having a normal day just enjoying the warmer waters when out of no where he has to fight for his freedom. Life just wasn't fair. Expressing his disdain for the situation, the seel fired a signal beam at froslass.

Alice carefully walked over to where she had captured the abra. Hesitantly she reached over and grabbed the pokeball, careful not to disturb the drowzee. With a small, satisfied smile she pocketed the pokeball in her sweatshirt. She was glad that the abra was finally her's, but now she had to worry about the umbreon. Since she had already captured the abra, she might as well capture the umbreon as well to give it a companion.
From the second the umbreon dug underground, Alice knew that her shinx would be in trouble. She had to do something quick before the umbreon resurfaced and did super effective damage to her electric type. Then she realized that one attack Storm could use made him invulnerable to ground attacks for a while, "Storm use magnet rise." It was an interesting strategy to say the least. The shinx obeyed his trainer, glowing for a moment then levitating above the ground and out of umbreon's reach.
Now that she had gone for a more defensive approach, her milotic could go in for the offensive. "And when it comes up you use surf, Venus." Venus created a wave of massive proportions that was ready to strike down on the umbreon whenever it chose to come back out of the hole. With shinx floating in the air, chances were that surf wouldn't affect him.

Alice saw her chance and was prepared to take it. Maybe the abra wouldn't have the strength to break out a second time. She took another pokeball from her pack, held it at the ready, then with all her hopes riding along with it, she threw the sphere at abra.
After drowzee fainted and abra disappeared into the pokeball, Storm knew that it was time to get back at the umbreon. He left the fallen psychics to see how the other battle was coming along. The shinx slunk around the battle field back to his trainer. Alice looked down at him, a little worried that he was hurt. Regardless, she could think about that later, and for the moment he seemed ready for battle. Even though it was a little unfair to the umbreon, Alice saw that Storm really wanted revenge for the sneak attack the dark type pulled. "Go for a fire fang." She encouraged, only loud enough for Storm to hear. <With pleasure> He answered then ran straight for the umbreon that was busy firing shadow balls.
Those shadow balls were hitting Venus' copies and making them disappear. For the most part she was able to avoid them but when she was the only one left a ball of dark energy hit her right in the head. She shook it off and looked to Alice for a plan of attack. Seeing that her pokemon had sustained damage Alice said, "Use hypnosis after Storm attacks." The water dragon nodded and watched as the shinx snapped at the umbreon with fiery teeth.

Alice groaned in disappointment as the abra escaped the confines of the pokeball. She thought for sure that it would be hers. Much to her chagrin, the target pokemon had found just enough strength in its reserves to break free. It was the classic frustration of a pokemon trainer - but at least she still had four other pokeballs. Even though it was a shame that the pokemon wasn't caught, she respected its determination and knew that it would be a great pokemon to have. Alice could always find the silver lining in bad situations.
She pointed her shinx in the direction of where the drowzee and the abra were. "Go and bite abra." She ordered, hoping that the super effective attack would be enough to efficiently weaken the pokemon. The electric type made his way to where the wounded drowzee and its caretaker were, getting ready to attack abra.
The trainer saw the umbreon launching an iron tail attack and thought it best to go in for an iron tail of her own. "Venus - double team then use your iron tail!" The rainbow serpent suddenly split into many duplicates, with the real one out of the umbreon's range. Then once the clones faded she rose up and slammed her glowing tail down, aiming for the spine of the dark type.
