Name: Mell Species: Slowking Gender: Male - Straight Ability: Own Tempo Personality: Tall, dark and handsome-- well, maybe not so much. He is impressively collected, handsomely cool, and questionably quiet, however. Some may think he's quiet because he is, of course, from the Slowpoke family but it's not true. He's quite brilliant and very attached to his trainer. Having been with her since both were quite young, he protects her with his all. He's also been willing to get a few tattoos from her despite his pain tolerance not being the best. Name: Species: Melanistic Tauros Gender: Male - Gay Ability: Sheer Force Personality: Name: Species: White Miltank Gender: Female - Pansexual Ability: Thick Fat Personality: <3Name: Tungu Species: Lickitung Gender: Male - Gay, though a little TOO oblivious thanks to his ability. Ability: Oblivious Personality: This lickitung is a brave character. He claims things, people, and other pokemon by thoroughly licking them. He will basically lick everything he sees that he thinks belongs to him. This pokemon is resilient in battle and can take many hits, mostly because it has a high tolerance for pain.

The Carnivine just nodded to Duke first. He could actually understand the mix-up. He just hadn't appreciated the sudden attack. Of course, there was the Ditto transforming into his wife, which was a bit disconcerting, but... that was neither here nor there. He'd apologized and the Grass-type was not about to continue an argument over a misunderstanding. As a result, the only thing he offered to Poe was a glare. <If she needed 'standing up for' or protecting, she likely wouldn't be alive anymore. That's how it works in our world. I do not know if you were born into a human family, but in the wild, things don't work the same way. As a thought, how would you feel if she was the one insulted that you all even felt the need to protect her? Also note, however, that I said IF your human felt the need to blame anyone. I did not suggest that she was to blame or that I felt she should be blamed. I ask that we both move on from the initial misunderstanding that caused this situation now and find something more bright to talk about. Can this be obliged?> The Ivysaur, meanwhile, just settles down and, still silent as the moment they first noticed her, just looked at each of them.

The Galvantula looked a bit bewildered with the girl's words. Cool? Well... damn straight he was cool. And handsome. And just plain awesome, yeah? Well... except for having a kid. That might not be exactly "cool" with the party-people. Thankfully, his little girl was pretty quiet and hardly complained about a thing<3 <Well, I thank you. Look all you want. We were just out for a walk, thinking of scrounging up some food was all,> he offered and struck a pose. The Weedle just continued to hang on silently.
Ah! The dragon had come to eat-- oh... no, he was making sure he was okay. At least this time the Mothim didn't freak out on sight. He had, of course, tensed up and even fluttered his wings a bit in preparation to take off... which only served to bounce him strangely on the ground. <Oh! Ah, I... um... ye-yes, I'm fine! This... is normal. Er, well, not NORMAL but... I mean... I'm okay! Really, I am!> Abruptly bringing himself to his feet, he flapped his wings to rid them of dirt and gave an awkward, but attempted-reassuring smile.

And Jemma could bet he was "cool" at more than just running a business... Ahem, but ANYWAY~ Even if he did think Lyall was attractive and cool, it didn't seem like a good pie to try and stick his thumb into, proverbially speaking. If he had learned anything in his years of making sure he was a convincing female, it became very obvious to him that dating your friends siblings or exes was a no-go without express permission from the friend in question. And Jemma preferred friends over other, more awkward relationships any day.
... On second thought... Alex's arrival did nothing if not completely destroy any determination the cross-dressed man had to follow his previous mental decisions. At least this wasn't the sibling of any could-be friends... Right? Only at this point, when he considered turning his head to ask Carly, jokingly, if this was Alexis, did he realize that he'd been staring -- even if with a relaxed, polite expression on his face -- a bit too long. "Ah," he uttered absently before gazing down at his cup. It was getting a bit on the low side, though it wasn't any less than a third of the cup left. He briefly considered the pros and cons of asking for another drink with that much left in his cup before realizing he really didn't have the time for that right now.
"Maybe a wine cooler? What..." he started to glance around for any sign of a mini-menu or list on the wall as he asked, "brands do you have? I think... Actually! If you'd make me an argentine pomelo, I'd much appreciate it," he decided with a bright smile at the boy before him. A horrible, TERRIBLE flirt, but Jemma just couldn't help it. What was the point of going out, especially to a bar, if you weren't going to socialize, RIGHT? So maybe the bartenders weren't the best choice to socialize with, but... ah, whatever. [/scrolly] |

@elayne: @jay: And lastly, the Panpour. SG said it looks fine, but the ears should be a bit lighter. However, she also said that as long as I make note of that, you can have the slightly odd coloration.

Thankfully, that wasn't the case. He supposed it was rather surprising for a stranger to offer such a thing, but if she liked Diamonds and Denim's clothes, then she'd probably buy from there in the future. He liked the owners, so he wanted to get them more customers. This way, Carly could actually decide if she liked the clothes before struggling to decide if she wanted something or not. Well, theoretically. He expected to be with her for a while, trying on clothes when they went.
Upon hearing Lyall answer his question, he blinked. Oh, Arceus, no... He did not just do this. Offering a random girl someone to shop with was fine. Vaguely flirting with bartenders was fine. What was not fine was realizing they were related a little too late. Unable to fight the blush that rose to his cheeks, he glanced toward Lyall and then back to Carly. He really felt like such an idiot right now. So, he did the best thing he could think of. He laughed at himself and shook his head.
"I'm sorry, but when you said the owner was your brother, I didn't expect him to be working the bar. I don't usually see the owners; they usually keep things running from the background. It's nice to see one that actually works his own establishment," he explained with a smile. Sure, he was embarrassed at his mistake, but it could have been worse. Still, that was a bit nerve-wracking, prompting the cross-dressed man to take a few sips of his drink. Now the situation was a little bit awkward for him... Just a teensy bit, though. Nothing big enough to drive him out of the bar any time soon. [/scrolly] |

The arachnid froze at the yell. After a moment, he shifted to look toward the trainer now coming at him. Instinctively, he spit some String Shot at her, only to sweatdrop a bit. Oops... She'd startled him! The Weedle was actually quite calm, staring at Skye for a moment before peering past her at Vengeance. After considering his error for a moment, the Galvantula awkwardly lifted one of his legs to lightly scratch away the webbing unless she tried to pull away or something...
The Mothim panicked at just the small gesture from the big scary dragon. His little arms flailed about and he flew around in an awkward sort-of-circle before falling out of the sky altogether. Landing unharmed, he just laid on his back uncertainly. Oh no... oh no, no, no! He'd been so rude! Now what? He couldn't go back and try to greet the Hydreigon again! That would just be ten times as strange. What to do...?

The Karrablast nodded toward Rigel, giving him a look that essentially said 'Duh...' before his attention was drawn to the human. The nod in response to what he said was much more enthusiastic. It was a special place! Of course it should've been protected better. He didn't actually know the history of the place itself... once being ruled by people rather than the Pokemon that now inhabited it, but he loved his home. He just wasn't strong enough to ward off most intruders and it made him sad! It also apparently made this human sad... Which prompted the little creature to walk over and awkwardly pat at Orion's... shin? knee? Whatever he could reach...
Upon hearing the Pokeballs drop and seeing the Pokemon that came out of them, the large dual-Water-type looked about ready to attack. She assumed they'd been released on purpose, but seeing the look on Alia's face, the Togepi tapped the large beast to get her attention. Blinking in surprise, she looked toward the baby Pokemon and then back to the trainer and her Pokemon. Oh... they weren't attacking after all. Lowering her head a bit toward the ground so she wasn't towering over the courtyard any longer, she watched them and nodded her head at the greeting given by the girl.

The little Rock-type seemed a little surprised at the answer, shifting in the Charmeleon's grip to look around. <Oh,> she answered, sort of noticing a human nearby now that he was mentioned. <Maybe you can steal this guy so I can run wild!> She laughed, but the Fire-type looked both embarrassed and horrified.
The Flareon was hit, despite doing his best to avoid the blindly-executed attack. He was tired now... so tired. Shaking himself off, he charged forward to attempt a use of Fire Fang. Even if his opponent was a Fire-type like himself, he prided himself on his physical strength and hoped he might at least prove, at least to himself, that he was a great Pokemon.

Ruka was quite glad he wasn't upset with her for laughing at him and even made it so she was laughing with him. It certainly made her feel better about the situation. As he calmed himself down, she started to relax as well. Gazing down at the water herself, she nodded in agreement. "It was a Magikarp, I think. Big, bulky, and... generally assumed to not be very bright. When they evolve, though..." She left the comment hanging, shaking her head along with it. That was an evolution that always baffled her. It was pretty incredible, of course, but from a sweetly dumb orange fish to a vicious blue sea serpent was just... a very odd process to her.
"I hope it doesn't go tell it's friends," she mumbled almost absent-mindedly. To have a swarm of Magikarp or even some Gyarados come to the surface to teach them a lesson did not sound very pleasant to her. "I'm already starting to get impatient," she added with a faint little laugh at herself. "I guess fishing isn't really my thing, huh?" [/scrolly] |

The Carnivine simply took the over-powered attack from Duke and glowered at him. <Who's the rude one here? That's my wife you're copying,> he grumbled. The Ivysaur righted herself with some difficulty and, blushing, looked around at each of the people and Pokemon.
<As for you, little lady,> he then mumbled toward Justice as he hovered down to the ground, <What's not funny about sneaking up on a loved one and tapping them on the shoulder? Are you blaming me for the snow that she accidentally tripped over? I do not have the power to see into the future, so there was no way for me to know she would be so shocked she would try to hop away like that. If you're going to blame anyone, perhaps you should blame yourself for being the distraction that allowed me to sneak up on her so easily.>
It didn't seem as though he cared so much that she couldn't understand the Pokespeech. All he seemed to care about was walking -- er, floating over to lightly brush his leafy hand over the Ivysaur's head in apology and to make sure she wasn't hurt. The worst injury she seemed to have suffered was a light bump on the nose and an adrenaline burst.

"Yeah, that's exactly it." Leaning in a little to look at the map herself, she grinned softly at his mumbled comment. There were definitely a lot of places in the Western Waters, not to mention across Era as a whole. His response to her offer dimmed the grin into a warm smile. "I don't have a plan for where to go after that just yet, but you can come along with me for as long as you like. I have to return to Orion City fairly often, though. I live with my grandparents to make sure they don't get hurt. My mother's a worry-wart," she explained.
Gasping when the Magikarp broke the water, she leaned back away. Kira and Shade were immediately both on the offensive regardless of the fact it was just a Magikarp... but watching the scene, all three just sort of blinked in shock. The brief bout of silence from Indi started to make the woman wonder if he had gotten a concussion or something, but upon hearing his baffled question, she couldn't stop herself from emitting a quiet, strained giggle-snort of sorts. "S-sorry, but..." Unable to contain it, she started to giggle outright, her hand to her mouth to try and keep it back, to no avail. Kira started snickering as a result, but Shade just went back to sitting. [/scrolly] |

Battle? Bah! Interruption!
Scuttling around nearby appeared a Galvantula. He was... blinding, though. Not because he was glowing, but because the sun shone off his entirely white body like a freakin' prism. Oh, wait... yeah, that's a good thing, though. A beautiful leucistic Galvantula~ On his back, however, was something else. A little Weedle, curdled up and clinging through the use of a bit of String Shot webbing to him.
Fluttering around nearby and looking all too curious was also a Mothim. He looked pretty normal, but he was anxiously staring at the two girls and their Pokemon. He really really really wanted to greet them and stuff, but... but... they were so BIG and scary...

Upon hearing Justice's comment, the Ivysaur's ears twitched beneath the snow, causing some of it to fall from around her head. Pretty? Her head lifted from the snow, leaving some stop it as the dual-type Pokemon peered over at the girl curiously. She said nothing and just... kind of stared.
Oddly enough, at this moment, a vine snaked down from the branches above and tugged at her petals. She yelped in surprise and jumped, tripping a little bit on the snow which caused her to tumble forward awkwardly, but at least she was away. Upon looking up, one could see a Carnivine, who quickly started to withdraw his vines as he gazed around at the humans and non-wild Pokemon alike.
Less noticeable, since they weren't doing anything destructive nor really interacting with the group at all, was a second Chatot that fluttered down onto a branch to start preening herself. The other was a Parasect that skittered along in the snow.

The cross-dresser was a bit surprised by the slight amount of shock that he could see overtake Carly, but didn't realize just how deep it went. To him, $80 was a damn good price for nearly designer clothing. Especially when they were willing to tailor it to you for little to no extra. This odd situation made him start to rethink how he viewed clothing... I mean, sure, a lot of the stuff his mom gave him after discovering his... hobby? lifestyle? Either way, some of the "hand-me-downs" were from Wal-Mart and even Salvation Army, he remembered. Still, it was a little difficult for him to fit in women's clothing sometimes, so this shop in particular was a gift from Arceus. Not like he could get that sort of service from just anywhere...
"Yeah, of course I can. I think we can make a fun day out of a little window-shopping trip to see if there are any other good places, too, while we're at it. Maybe I can even treat you to something from Diamonds and Denim so you can see if you like the clothes enough to buy from them in the future," he suggested brightly. Watching her minor battle with her hair, Jemma looked faintly amused but quickly masked it so as not to add insult to injury. After taking a few more sips of his own drink, he glanced down the bar at Lyall just to offer a small smile in the conversation's lull. When he looked back to Carly, he tilted his head at her just a little bit. "So... you mentioned a brother. Is he your only sibling?" [/scrolly] |

It was like a story book. Y'know, where an alien or something landed on Earth, was found by a family (or scientists, but those stories were usually less... nice) and taken care of as their own only to be 'beamed' up by its true family-- anyway...
"Figure it all out, huh? Well, there's something of a civil war going on. Era is a monarchy, you see. The main royal family is commonly presumed dead. There still seem to be other royal families in each of the cardinal regions. Some of them seem to be in turmoil and don't really make themselves known, though. Mostly to protect their families, I would think. There's where you are now, a part of Era known as the Western Waters. Obviously... because it's the coastal region, but there's also a large lake on the eastern side of it. There's here, which is, I think, the southernmost place; Orion City, where I live, farther north up the cost; Escapade City is on the other side of the lake I mentioned; um... I think I heard there's an abandoned zoo somewhere. Maybe it's on the map. You can always come to Orion with me, of course, if you like," she offered. [/scrolly] |

What to do; what to do... Glancing between the three of them, she took a long, deep breath and held it for a moment, gulping quietly. Finally letting it out, she offered very quickly, "Noah can stay with me." Immediately, her face reddened and she shook her head.
"I mean... I don't think it's fair to make someone sleep in a possibly uncomfortable place while I get a bed. Besides that, I'm pretty sure my brothers would rather share a room -- even a bed -- with me rather than let some guy I've never met before now sleep next to me so... I'm not sure if you're the same, Kurtis, but -- so, I'm leaving that decision up to you. But Noah can share a bedroom with me -- the bed, too, if you want," she explained, gazing over at the mentioned boy before the other two people and continuing, "This way as many people as possible get a comfortable bed to sleep in and no over-protective sibling feelings need be felt. Er, that is if you're even like that, Kurtis. I'm just trying to..."
A quiet whimper escaped her lips at this point, now starting to worry someone would take offense or even think she was being whorish for offering to share her bed space with a stranger. Oh god. DX Prompt Buneary pat atop her head, as well as a cheerful little outburst from the Cleffa in her arms. Her Riolu as well softly patted her knee reassuringly. [/scrolly] |
