What had that been about exactly? Well, no matter now he guessed. After a few seconds, the Combusken turned his head to one side and viewed his silly trainer. Nami sighed a little but gave half a smile to Nici before slowly sitting down and sighing deeply. "Well this has been a long day already," she mused a bit thinking over everything that had happened. After a few seconds, her eyes fell on the Poochyena, and a slow smile came to Nami's face. Ah, it was more peaceful now at least. [/scrolly]

Hope looked at the man and smiled. "All I really need you to do is ring these up please." Hope spoke politely he wanted to wrap this up quickly and get back to the poke center. More thinking of what he would do when he got back. Would he just leave? He had been traveling over a year now and hadn't bothered to talk or interact with many people. So why did he start today? He then pushed the thought to the back of his head as he looked back at the cashier.

[Maid Melody]

The cashier nodded and scanned the items in question,"200 pen please."

The Poochyena seemed pleased that the girl was brightening up a little and licked her cheek again, wagging her tail gently as she cuddled up agains Nici.

The Zigzagoon twins stirred slightly but continued to sleep on.

Giggled. She hadn't felt this giddy in a long time. "You little mutt," she muttered playfully a the Poochyena. "Knock it off." She pet the pup again, happy to have such a playful creature with her. Looking over at Nami, who sat on the same couch as her, "No kidding." It had been a long day. Even if it was only maybe five in the evening, it still felt like maybe midnight. And though she thrived in the night, all Nici wanted for right now was a comfy bed and a warm blanket to snuggle up in. But hey, beggars couldn't be choosers, and she was plenty satisfied with a Poochyena on her lap. "You think that guy will be much longer? I think this one might be hungry." She deserved a meal after what she'd been through anyway. Living out in the snow, defending twin pups, fighting off angered Sneazels, Nicki couldn't imagine how tired the Poochyena might actually be. But she couldn't help wondering how the pup still had the energy to play around with her? [/scrolly]

"I... think I may ask the Zigzagoon pups to come with me ... I could take care of them .. and possibly the Sneasel and hopefully make them grow and.... Iunno...something more..." Nami sighed realizing how much she actually craved more in life. It was fun every once in a while to train and just be around pokemon, but it made her feel... empty at the end of the day. [/scrolly]

Hope handed the man the pen and stuffed the items in his bag. "Thank you." He said with a smile. Hope left the store and made his way back to the Pokemon center. Though he felt odd almost sick if he had to describe it. He decided to brush it off for now.

The man waved goodbye to Hope as he left the store and went back to setting up more supplies in the store.

The Poochyena whined playfully when Nici told her to knock it off and snuggled against the girl, starting to feel tired as well.

The Zigzagoon twins snuggled against Ken, still sleeping.

After all the ice they'd just trudged through, she figured the Poochyena could use as much heat as it could get. Nici smiled as she listened to Nami, her upbeat attitude coming from absolutely no where. Or the pup in her lap, whichever she preferred to choose."I don't think you'll have a problem takin' them with you." She nodded to where her Ken sit with both twins snuggled up with him. "He made a buddy." She grinned at her own joke. Pathetic, yes, but she still smiled. It was her fun and that was all that mattered to her. [/scrolly]

"Are you going to take the Poochyena with you?" she asked afteer a moment. At the sound of someone entering the pokemon center, Nami looked sideways and sighed a little as she saw Hope there. Making an arm wave as though to draw his attention to where they were sitting, Nami sat back again and sighed. "Thank you for getting everything," she said leaning forwards again and looking towards Hope rather quietly. [/scrolly]

Hope walked over to Nami with his blank expression. "It was no problem really." He said handing Nami the food. Then he handed Nici the other canister of poke food. "They had a buy two get one free deal. I have more then enough for myself." Hope mentally prayed that the girl wouldn't let pride interfere with her judgement.

The Poochyena licked Nici's cheek before snuggling against her a little more, content to remain in her lap.

The Zigzagoon twins continued to sleep, though the smaller of the two shifted slightly so that she was now half on the chair and half on Ken's lap.

"Nah. As much as I want to, I think it already has a family. I wouldn't wanna take it away from it's home." The blast of cold air hit her face and she shivered for a second, wrapping her arms around the pup just too keep some warmth with her. That guy Hope stumbled in, three tubes of some sort of metal curled into his folded arms. Three thermos of food, for their Pokemon. He gave one to Nami, who immediately thanked him, and he handed one to Nicki. At first, Nicodemus didn't exactly want to take it. She still felt the heat of anger light in the pit of her belly when she remembered the fight they'd endured. But then she thought of the Poochyena and Blaze, and her other Pokemon that could use the nourishment and took the food. "Thanks." she said and opened it up at once. "Hungry, Little One?" Nicki looked down at the gray bundle of fur on her lap with a smile. How was it so friendly? Maybe it belonged to someone and they lost it. How was the pup to find it's trainer? [/scrolly]

She did say she was going to pay him back didn't she? Yep. After a second more, she looked down at the food she now had and walked over towards Ken and the Zigzagoon twins. "Hey..." she hummed a little bending down quietly to their level. "You guys hungry?" Ken turned his head to one side and nodded a little. [/scrolly]

Hope took the money , but it hurt his pride. He wish he could tell her to keep it. The sad reality is he is very tight on money since he does not have a steady income."Thanks." Hope said with a slight smile. Hope Yawned and stretched he was tired he had been walking all day nonstop.

The Poochyena nodded and took some of the offered food, tail wagging as she did so. She didn't eat all of it of course ... surely the girl had to be hungry too, right. After the Poochyena had finished eating, she nosed the food towards Nicki and barked as if telling her to it it.

The Zigzagoon twins woke up when they heard Nami's voice and blinked sleepily at her. Realizing that Nami had food, they perked up and nodded their heads in unison.

The girl let the pup eat it's fill, making sure it would fill it's belly. It needed the energy, especially out here in the cold snow and ice. It would be essential for survival, right? When the Poochyena had finally stopped eating, seeming content, it turned and tried to push the food she'd filled into the thermos top toward her. Nicki was at first puzzled, but then saw it as an offering from the Pokemon.

She smiled and shook her head, "No thanks, I'm not hungry. Maybe later." She was absolutely starving, and she had no idea how Pokemon food tasted, especially the processed type like the one the pup had been fed, but she wasn't exactly thrilled about the opportunity to find out now.

Nicodemus yawned, even when she tried not to, and blinked hard to clear the blur from her vision. She looked around and found everyone sitting down, only Nami trying to get her Pokemon to eat. Now, the girl's only decision was to figure out what her next move was. The best one would probably be to crash at the Center for tonight and get moving tomorrow morning. The trio they'd formed would most likely break up and each of them would move on, forgetting today's experience. Nicki had to admit it, but she knew it was true.

Still, she didn't know whether or not anyone else was up for a conversation. Both of them seemed tired, but she was sure if it was mentally or physically. Whether they really needed to sleep or just chill out and stop having to worry constantly. She wondered what each was aiming for, what their goals were. She had no goals, really. She lived from day to day, not really knowing where she was going, but knowing she wasn't going back to where she came from. When she found somewhere she liked, maybe she'd stay, but until that day came, she would keep moving.

The Combusken, though prideful, was thankful for the food and took it eating quietly. After she had given the food, Nami sighed but didn't stand upright just yet. "Hey... would you two like to come with me?" she asked slowly pulling out two pokeballs and offering them to the two. [/scrolly]

Hope looked around the room He saw Nici then looked to Nami. In all the time he had journeyed he had never hung around people very long. It was somewhat nice , but He would probably never see them again after today. This is why he didn't hang around people, in the end he would just say goodbye. Hope saying nothing walked away he would leave them be. It was going to happen sooner or later so why not sooner? As he walked outside it began to snow. He sighed and saw his breathe form before him.

He released his Absol and said "Just you and me buddy." He began to walk away from the poke center and his absol followed. His Pokemon were his only friends and he was content with that.

The Poochyena whined when Nicki said that she wasn't hungry but didn't push the matter further. Yawning at about the same time Nicki did, the Poochyena rested her head on the girl's lap, tired after the long day.

The Zigzagoon twins looked at each other when Nami asked if they wanted to come with her and nodded in unison. This would be fun~ and they could stay with Ken too~. Pressing the buttons on the pokeballs, the Zigzagoon twins allowed themselves to be captured with very little struggle. Moments later, two DINGs were heard indicating that they had been successfully captured.

Personality: Young and naive, this Zigzagoon is rather innocent. She trusts very easily, believing that most everyone has at least some good in them. Carefree and loving, she loves to play and won't hesitate to try and make a game out of every circumstance. She tries to look at the positive side of everything and though she's rather timid and gets scared easily, she tries to overcome her fear and get through it, though most of the time she simply hides behind her trainer. She tends to stay by her sister and doesn't like being without her for very long.

Personality: This little girl is brave despite her size, though still rather young she won't hesitate to take on a challenge, especially if it's to protect her sister. She is rather spunky and tries to encourage her sister to take chances and get her to open up a little more. This Zigzagoon is a real sweetheart and loves to cuddle with her trainer but woe to those who pick on her sister as she will beat them into the ground without mercy.

It laid down on her lap and she rubbed behind it's ears. For such a pup, it could barely fit on her lap. It seemed exhausted, so she thought about making it stay here for the night so it could rest up. She wouldn't let it out and risk it collapsing on it's way home so it would freeze in it's sleep. The thought of it made her stomach churn. When the wild gust of wind hit her face again, she looked up to see that man Hope walk out the door without another glance at either of them. What was he going out there for? They all had food, didn't they? He walked in with three different thermoses, she saw them. He gave her one, gave one to Nami, and kept one for himself. He didn't pull out more than two of his Pokemon, so it couldn't be that much food to feed them. So what was he going out there for? She looked over at Nami, feeling that maybe she might be able to handle the current situation a lot better than could. The woman was still dealing with her own Pokemon, feeding her fire Pokemon, with the two Zigzagoon no where to be found. She held two different Pokeballs, so Nicodemus took the safe assumption she'd captured them. Well, she was happy for Nami, but that still didn't help her out. Sighing, Nicki prodded the Poochyena on her lap gently, "Gotta get up. Stay right here, okay?" She didn't wait for a reply as she gently pushed the pup onto the cushion next to her and got up. She didn't exactly rush out the front door, but she didn't waste any time looking around or grabbing her coat. The girl stepped outside and instantly shivered at the immediate rush of freezing air. She saw her air puff out in a small cloud and looked to see Hope walking away with what looked like an Absol. She couldn't be sure, of course. She'd never seen one up close before. She still didn't like the guy, and she really didn't want to talk to him, but he'd given her food for her Pokemon, so she ought to be grateful. Still, she couldn't imagine actually talking to him. It wasn't really any of her business to find out what he was doing anyway, it was his life, why should she be the one to tamper with that? But if he was leaving, and it wasn't more than an hour away from sun down, then he could get stranded out in the freezing snow and ice. And he'd been traveling when they found him, or when he found them, so he couldn't have that much energy to keep him going through the night, or to ride his Salamence wherever. It was a day's journey just to get out of the hills. And it was already starting to snow, what if it turned into a blizzard? "Hey, um..." What was his name? "Hope? Where you goin'?" Well, that was blunt. But he better answer, there wasn't enough wind in the world to block out her shout to him. She tended to be a loud-mouth, and found no shame in that. [/scrolly]
