INTO THE GORGE (RILEY/MOD)

[Jay]

The Donphan sighed a bit and nodded before going back to the spot he had been earlier. Not far off, two Baltoy were spinning on a rock and seemed in some sort of deep meditation of sorts. Wait... that wasn't a rock.... It was an Onix..... apparently at peace with the fact that two pokemon were spinning on it....

[VEGETA]

Zack was almost skipping he was so happy that he had helped out that Donphan (even though he was the one who caused the problems for it) He saw the two Baltoy and thought that spinning out the rock would be fun (Zack hadn't noticed it was an Onix yet) "Hey Baltoy!" he said waving "Mind if I come join you?" before even recieving an answer he began to climb onto the Onix's back.

[Jay]

The Onix didn't even seem fazed with yet another on her back and remained rather at peace. The Baltoy seemed to stop for a moment and acknowledge Zack before going back to their spinning rather methodically as though trying to center themselves that much more (or maybe even centrifuge themselves...heh).

[VEGETA]

Zack was entertaining himself by spinning around with the Baltoy but kept noticing something far off to his right...it looked like...no...it couldn't be...eyes?!? In surprise Zack almost fell off the Onix but began to move towards the head of the rock pokemon. "Hey!" said Zack waving at the Onix's head "What kind of pokemon are you?" he said questioningly

[Jay]

The Onix opened one eye and stared towards Zack for a moment before closing said eye and stating a simple "Onix." After a moment, the two Baltoy seemed to slowly hop off the Onix as the large rock beast herself slowly started to sit up.

[VEGETA]

Zack's eyes grew wide as the pokemon showed it's full height to him. "So...COOOL!!" said Zack in excitement "Hey Onix? I'm travelling around Era...would you like to come with me?" He pulled out two pokeballs "We'd become great friends! You'll meet all my other friends too!" He was trying to sweeten the deal "We would eat in nice places! Travel everywhere! It would be great! Please join?" He said with a huge smile.

[Jay]

The Onix blinked at the boy before bringing her head closer to him and staring at him carefully as though taking his visage apart in her mind and then putting it back together. After a moment, she looked towards the Baltoy who were now on their way as though drawn by something else now and then back at Zack. This boy... seemed like a good kid... a tad... odd... and peppy... but eh.... After a moment, she backed up a bit and gently nodded her head "Nix On," was all she stated...something along the lines of 'hello little one'.

[VEGETA]

"Nice to meet you too Onix!" Zack scratched the back of his head as it seemed the Onix didn't know what he meant by coming along with him so he decided to make another request. "Hey Onix you mind showing me around the gorge? I'm not very familiar with this place and it would be good to get to know you!" Zack chimmed happily.

[Jay]

The Onix blinked a moment and then smiled before gently nodding and slowly starting to move through the area. Due to her large size, she was able to move through the area with ease against all the usual problems that one faced while trying to get around things that were too big to get across. Coming to a rather interesting rock formation that all too much resembled an Onix, the Onix looked back at Zack and gestured towards this interesting statue of sorts.

[VEGETA]

"Wow!" said Zack as he stared at the Onix rock formation "I can't believe something like this hasn't been showed to anyone. This is amazing!" he turned to Onix "Did you and your friends make this or was it natural? Cause if so that's just weird...." he rubbed his chin "Whatever though!" he said smiling "Anything else cool in the gorge? Like a Donphan statue..or a Skarmory statue.."

[Jay]

The Onix nodded at this as well and then moved a few hundred meters off to show a rather tall looking Tauros formation with the entire bull pokemon looking as though he were ready to hit someone with his horns. The Onix mentally wondered if the boy knew that she was the maker of this art...heh, oh well.

[VEGETA]

"Onix you're amazing!" Zack said almost jumping up and down in excitement "I'd really love for us to become better friends if you would like to come with me!" he said holding out a pokeball in a non-threatening way.

[Jay]

Seeing the pokeball held outwards, the Onix blinked for a moment and then looked back towards the rocks she had made into statues.... Would... she be able to find more rocks to continue her carvings even if she went with the boy? Well... he seemed to have a good heart... and... the earth certainly had more rocks... alright then... alright. After a moment, she looked towards the boy again and nodded slowly. Leaning her head forwards, she gently pressed the ball with her head and disappeared inside. The ball itself called out capture in a few more seconds.

Ability: Rock Head
Personality: This Onix is quiet and calm. She doesn't become angry easily and can take quite a lot of abuse without retaliating. However, when you push her too far such as repeatedly doing something socially wrong to someone, this Onix will become hopelessly cruel and will hold a grudge against the person that pushed her that far for years. She has a very deep love of art and likes to sculpt rocks into different structures including people and pokemon.


Not far from Zack, a Cubone was digging into the ground and hadn't even noticed the entire even with the boy and the Onix.

[VEGETA]

"Nice Onix!" Zack began to dash off farther into the gorge and almost bumped into the Cubone. "Sorry!" he said stopping and bowing slightly before walking away. He was searching for pokemon to battle against to get his team stronger..he wanted to beat....Tyson.

[riley]

The going was rough as Riley descending into the gorge, her Absol, Noct close at her heels as she always was. The protective creature was constantly looking out for Riley, seeing to it that she was never in any true danger. As they walked along Riley could hear the chatter of other people. Coming around the bend, she could spy the two and their Pokemon, her own stepping out in front of her before she could even say hello.

[Jay]

The Cubone blinked and shrugged his shoulders rather calmly and went back to digging. Not far off, a group of Spearow appeared to be pecking at a Dunsparce...... oh dear...well...um... indeed. That was quite odd, no? As for any other pokemon in the immediate vicinity, there appeared to be none.

[VEGETA]

"Sorry." said Zack again before continuing on. He didn't notice the girl and her Absol that had entered the gorge just yet but did notice a flock of Spearow that seemed to be attacking something. He wanted to get a closer look so he moved forward slowly until he could see. When he was finally close enough he noticed they were attacking a Dunsparce so he began running towards them "Hey! What do you guys think you're doing!??! Get away from the Pokemon!" he was flailing is arms wildly hoping to scare the bird pokemon off.

[riley]

Going unnoticed thus far, Riley followed the young man around the bend, Noct beginning to growl at the birds. Shocked at what she was seeing in the aggression she knew she had to do something. "Nost, we have to do something."[/u] Riley said. With a small nod from the Absol, she ran forward, snapping at the bird pokemon, chasing them off. "That's it Noct! show em who's boss!"[/u] she yelled after the Absol, patting her when she returned.

[Jay]

Several of the Spearow flew upwards startled at whatever was going on at that moment. However, one remained by the Dunsparce and remained resiliant at picking and pecking at it rather irritated for one reason or another. The Dusparce itself remained laying there trying desperately not to faint.

[VEGETA]

"Dunspace! Get out of there!" Zack ran over and dived on the Dunsparce trying to protect it with his body from the last Spearow. "Get out of here!" he yelled towards the Spearow as it pecked on his body.

It was then he noticed the girl as her and her Absol tried to protect the Dunsparce as well. Zack was amazed ad shocked at the same time as the girl went out of her way to help her.
