Anya was walking around the Red Mesa searching for some pokemon. She had a list of which were normally found around here and there happened to be alot of Unova pokemon that could be found around here. "Hmph." she said taking a look at her list "There are Gible's found around here. That's pretty high on my list." She looked around for one.

Not far off, a Trapinch could be seen digging on a large rock. A Hoothoot could be seen hopping around quietly on one leg not far from the Trapinch and almost seemed to be watching it. Yet another Trapinch could be seen a bit farther off.

Anya looked around at the surrounding pokemon and instantly decided to keep looking around. "I require none of these pokemon. They all are not on my list." she said as she kept walking around the Red Mesa.

A # Kakuna appeared to be in an odd sate of meditation upon a rock. Yet another Trapinch could be seen digging directly around the Kakuna as though it were making some sort of moat. A Swablu flew around high above in the air.

"Swablu..." Anya went down her list of paper. "That's on here. Well Altaria is so.." she took out Goruugu's pokeball "Two Ice Beams please." Goruugu came out of her pokeball and formed two blasts of ice that shot towards Swablu with incredible accuracy and would not miss. (Due to her ability No Guard.)

The Swablu was caught completely off guard from the two rounds of Ice Beam and instantly froze in mid-flight before gravity took over and sent her crashing downwards with a velocity of 9.8 m/s^2. When she finally hit the ground, the ice shattered and allowed the bird freedom again. However, she took quite a lot of damage simply from the fall as well. Crying out in pain, the Swablu looked harshly towards her attacker and formed an Outrage attack in retribution.

"Goruugu don't let up. Protect then Thunderbolt." with the effects of No Guard being in place the attack was meant to hit but was guarded by Protect. She then let loose electricity that flew towards Swablu with precision.

The electricity shocked the bird, and in another moemnt, the Swablu formed a Mirror Move and shot back the electricity towards the Goruugu. She wasn't going to give up just yet, it seemed. Well, gotta like resilience, neh?

"Well it definately has spunk." said Anya in a solemn tone "Goruugu ward it off and the two more Ice Beams." with Goruugu being part ground type the electricity didn't even faze her. She then charged two more Ice Beams and shot them towards the Swablu.

The Swablu took the first Ice Beam and even seemed to appear to keep conscious. However, when the second Ice attack hit, she cried out and fainted finally then and there. Whatever had been in the close vicinity had suddenly fled due to the battle save for a lone Trapinch that had stopped and was now staring rather stupidly at the fight wondering what was going on.

"It's about time." Anya tossed a pokeball at the fainted Swablu. "It put up a good fight but that's too bad it lost." she turned to Goruugu "Lets keep searching for Unova pokemon though" she said moving past the Trapinch

The pokeball sealed around the Swablu and shook a few times before finally ringing in capture.
Name:
Species: Swablu
Gender: Female
Ability: Cloud Nine
Personality: Rather hardheaded, this Swablu doesn't give up even when the odds are against her. However, she is deathly afraid of fire types for some unexplained reason. She will fight just about everything except for a fire type at which she will run and hide behind her trainer. She likes to sing music when not in battle and actually has quite a lovely singing voice.
Not far off, another Swablu could be seen flying towards a rather obscure looking tree. A Zubat was hanging upside down on this tree. Suddenly the sound of buzzing wings could be heard. A Vibrava came buzzing around rather quickly.

Anya picked up the pokeball. "Seems like she'll be a very strong pokemon soon.." She then put the pokeball in her pocket and looked around. The only pokemon that actually intrigued her was the Vibrava but she had bigger priorities around here. "I need to find a Gible.." she said as she continued to walk.

The Vibrava seemed to suddenly run into the tree and startled all the pokemon in it including a Kakuna he cried out irritated and then resolved to use Harden... for...some...reason...eh.....After a little, the tree settled down again, and the pokemon became peaceful. Not far off from where Anya was walking, a Spinarak was moving along the ground aimlessly, and yet another Trapinch was digging into the rock. A Noctowl let out a hoot from somewhere discernible.

"Still nothing." Anya sighed a bit. "Oh well." she said as she began to climb onto Goruugu "Maybe it'll be better from the sky." she said as Goruugu flew up and began to move around the Mesa.

Higher in the sky, a Pidgeotto could be seen flying around through the clouds. A Sandile was moving around the far edge of the Mesa, and what appeared to be a Bagon was watching said Sandile carefully.

"A Sandile!" Anya said pointing towards the ground. "Goruugu fly down there and use two Ice Beams!" Anya was visibly excited at the fact that she would catch her first Unova pokemon.

The Sandile turned his head just in time to receive an Ice Beam. Irritated, the Sandile dug into the rock and avoided the second Ice Beam and also effectively disappearing..... The Bagon who had been watching was completely caught off guard and blinked in confusion wondering where the Sandile had gone and what was- OH GOD WHAT WAS THAT o__o A GIANT FLYING UH UH... SOMETHING DDDDDDDD8 With that, the Bagon flailed his arms and started flailing his arms and running around in circles.

"Don't let it get away!" said Anya flailing a little bit "You need to use Earthquake on the ground!" Goruugu flew down to the ground and stomped creating a shockwave that traveled around the area.

The Earthquake hit the Sandile deep in the ground, yet being part ground type, he was naturally accustomed to such things and simply stayed under ground. After a few seconds, he came up with a Dig and made to hit the Goruugu. The Bagon was hit by the Earthquake and fainted right then and there......o..k? heh... ^^'
