[Ferorodono]

"Oh, no," Ashter said as the sand grew restless. She recalled Rue and Jackie into their Pokeballs and started walking past the oasis, Shasta following her. Ashter did not seem too interested in the Sunflora and Cherrim, mostly because she was worried about getting trapped in a sandstorm and thought that getting out was more important than capturing any wild Pokemon.

Shasta trailed along beside her trainer, squinting through the shifting sand. She didn't know which way was out, and was getting tired. Her paws were stinging from the heat of the sand.

[Jay]

The sand continued to pick up, and the pokemon seemed to vanish. Suddenly the rush of air could literally be seen from the distance as it move towards the Oasis. It was large and long and seemed to cover nearly everything the eye could see in that direction, and it was coming faster and faster in the girl's direction. Oh dear....

[Ferorodono]

Ashter let out a huge gasp, but quickly closed her mouth to prevent sand from entering. She turned in the other direction and started running as fast as someone can when they are foot-deep in sand. In other words, not very fast. She knew it was too late to get away from a storm this big, and kneeled down in the sand, hugging Shasta. The two squeezed their eyes shut and pressed against each other, hoping for the storm to miraculously dissipate. Or turn into a magical unicorn. Either one.

[Jay]

The sandstorm rushed by the girl rather quickly and stayed around her for a good solid two minutes before finally fully passing and heading off into the distance. However, the storm seemed to have left a rather pained Cherubi behind that was now laying in the sand whimpering quietly to herself. She hurt all over and couldn't even get up.

[Ferorodono]

Ashter slowly got to her aching feet. There was sand in her hair and in her jacket. She shook her head and tried to remove all of the sand she could from her hair, unsuccessfully.

Shasta got up after Ashter, shaking out her sandy coat. She had sand around her eyes, and quickly started a two-minute grooming session.

"You alright?" Ashter asked shakily, looking down at her friend. The Mightyena nodded, and Ashter started gazing around the sandy area. "It doesn't even look any different. Sand is still everywhere, you can't really tell." She suddenly caught sight of the Cherubi, and she gasped. "Omigosh, Shasta, come here!" She rose out of the sand that had gathered around her legs and walked quickly over to the wild Pokemon. "Oh, you poor thing, are you ok?" Shasta had followed her to the Cherubi and now inspected the grass Pokemon. She whined a bit and bent down to lick the Cherubi gently, grooming session forgotten.

[Jay]

The Cherubi whimpered a little and opened one eye to look at Shasta. <Oi the sand... it hurt.....> she whimpered quietly before trying to get up. However, as soon as she got part of her form off the sand, her body fell back again, and she continued to lay there trying to keep herself from crying and inevitably failing.

[Ferorodono]

Ashter wasted no time. She scooped up the Cherubi into her arms as gently as possible, then started walking...away. She still had no idea where they were, and it was hard to believe they could find a Pokemon center in the middle of nowhere. Still, she had to hope. "It's alright," Ashter said slowly, concentrating on making anything out in this desert. "We'll get you out."

Shasta had noticed this Cherubi from earlier, when Ashter was trying to find her way out of the desert. She remembered the Sunflora, too... <What happened to that other Pokemon you were with?> Shasta asked the Cherubi. <The flower Pokemon?> She was very worried now, worked up by paranoia that something bad had happened.

[Jay]

<I...I dunno....> the Cherubi answered back shaking her small heads in unison. Indeed, she couldn't remember a thing other than being sandblasted. There didn't appear to be anything for miles, and one would probably have to think of a faster way out of the desert if this kept up. Not far off, a Liepard dug herself up out of the sand that had covered her as the sandstorm had gone by. Shesh, that had been rough.

[Ferorodono]

Shasta saw the Liepard, and called out, asking if it had seen a sunflower Pokemon. She then turned to the Cherubi and smiled. <Don't worry, we'll find her.> She then turned to the ground and started sniffing, hoping she could smell out the missing Pokemon through all of the sand.

Ashter continued carrying the Cherubi, looking around hopelessly for a Pokemon Center. Or a magical unicorn that would carry them to safety. "Rue, help," she finally said softly, and her elbow nudged a button on a Pokeball that was attached to her belt loop. Immediately, the Gothita sprang out happily, but she sobered up when she saw the hurt Cherubi and the seriousness on Ashter's face.

"I dunno if this works, but can you try and call any bird Pokemon down? With your psychic?" Ashter had no idea what Rue's psychic could and couldn't do, and she really hoped her idea would work.

Rue shrugged, unsure if she could really summon a Pokemon down, then closed her eyes in concentration. A small pink auma surrounded the Gothita, and as she squeezed her eyes shut tighter, the auma grew. After a long moment, she let go, and the auma flew out in all directions, briefly changing everything it passed into the color pink. Rue gasped slightly as she caught her breath, and looked into the sky. <I don't know if it will work, Ashy, I sent a communication wave asking a strong flying Pokemon to come and help.>

Ashter smiled at her Gothita and nodded. "That's perfect, I just hope another Pokemon hears it and comes. Or we're lost." She knelt down on her knees, still holding the Cherubi. Shasta was a few feet away, searching for a smell. She said something to Rue, who translated to Ashter-Shasta said Cherubi was with another Pokemon, who had disappeared during the sandstorm. The trainer gasped and looked around, wondering where the Pokemon could have gotten to. A sunflower? A bright yellow Pokemon would be harder to see in the desert...

Ashter pushed another two buttons on another two Pokeballs. An excited Mienfoo popped out of the first. Jackie smiled widely at her trainer before noticing the situation. Then she started a whispered conversation with Rue about what the Mienfoo had missed. Out of the other Pokeball appeared a newly caught Bulbasaur, who immediately noticed the Cherubi and looked at it with concern. It walked over next to Ashter and sent out vines that pummeled the ground, leaving a smooth little indent in the ground that was the perfect size for a small Pokemon. Ashter smiled at the Bulbasaur and lowered the Cherubi into the 'bed,' saying, "Don't worry, it's alright, we'll find your friend and get you outta here." The Bulbasaur's vines rose over the Cherubi, shielding it from the heat of the sun.

Ashter shifted into a comfortable position to wait for something to happen. Either a bird was going to respond to Rue's call, or they would be stranded out in a hot desert. Well, her Pokemon were out and about, so at least they could run around.

[Jay]

The Liepard shook her head at the question that was posed to her and seemed to be trying to sort out where the heck she was now by looking around in reference to the waters of the Oasis. Not far off, green legs could be seen flailing in the sand for some reason or another. Was that the Sunflora, maybe? Suddenly a rush of air could be heard as a Tropius came flying over prompted by the psychic call for help.

[Ferorodono]

Ashter gasped (how many times so far?) as the Tropius appeared. She stood up and called, "We're over here! Can you help us get out of this desert and to the nearest Pokemon Center?" She saw the legs poking out of the ground, and motioned Shasta to look over there.

Bulbasaur lifted one of its vines to wave merrily at the Tropius before putting it back over the Cherubi. He was not that affected by the heat of the desert; it was practically his home.

Shasta sniffed...something. She looked over and noticed the legs. Shasta gave a small bark as she dashed over to the...whatever it was, and started digging it out of the sand.

Rue and Jackie ran over to the sand mound to help Shasta. Jackie started digging, while Rue said, "Don't worry, it's ok."

[Jay]

At the words form the human, the Tropius's eyes stared at the Cherubi before nodding his head slowly. Yes, he would help. The storm had not affected him so badly due to his massive size, yet he knew it had probably hurt these younglings especially from what damage he could see from the Cherubi. Upon being dug out, a Sunflora could be seen, and upon getting out a bit more, she finally fell back and stood up stretching. <Oi vey that had been a lot of sand> she sighed to herself.

[Ferorodono]

Rue jumped back after the Sunflora spoke, but walked back smiling. Are you alright? She held out a hand to pick up the Pokemon.

Shasta looked over at the Tropius. I'll be right back, she said to the Pokemon before running over to her trainer. She quickly told the Tropius about the sandstorm and how they were lost and needed to find a Pokemon Center.

While Shasta told Tropius the happenings, Ashter pulled a Pokeball out of her pocket and returned Jackie. She could see that Rue was talking to a...oh, the Sunflora was found! She walked towards the flower Pokemon and tried to pick it up, murmuring, "It'll be alright. We have your friend, the Cherubi." She walked back towards the Tropius, shifting the Sunflora to one arm in order to recall Rue to her Pokeball. She then asked Raeshu to carry the Cherubi towards the Tropius as well, and he did so gently.

"Can we have a ride?" Ashter asked the Tropius when Shasta had finished. She was really excited at meeting this enormous Pokemon, and hoped when they reached the PokeCenter she could battle and capture it.

[Jay]

The Sunflora looked over as Rue asked and slowly nodded. <As alright as one can be after being nearly drowned in sand> she sighed rubbing the extra sand off of her arms. <Thank you for asking though.> At suddenly being picked up, the Sunflora squirmed a moment but relaxed again when it seemed that the girl was only trying to help. Upon being set on the Tropius, the flower pokemon found herself clinging a little. The Cherubi was taken as well and didn't say much of anything, really. The Tropius bowed and simply waited for the girl to get on before flying off high into the sky. They flew for a good thirty minutes before finally coming towards a pokemon center. Landing carefully, the Tropius made to allow his passengers off now.

[Ferorodono]

"Thanks," Ashter said, getting off of the Pokemon. She really really wanted it, and wasn't going to give up this opportunity! "Um, can I have a battle with you first? I want to test out my Pokemon..." She motioned Raeshu to go into the PokeCenter, which he did, his vines easily carrying the two hurt Pokemon. He ran inside and tried to relay that these Pokemon were hurt. (Which was quite obvious already.)

[Jay]

The Tropius looked at the girl for a moment rather confused, yet after a few seconds, he nodded. Alright.... That would be ok now that they were in a safer area at least. This place.. was just outside of Anvilia wasn't it? Why yes yes it was. Alright things would be fine.... Nodding, he simply waited to see what pokemon would come out.

The two wild pokemon were rushed inside, and a rather exhausted nurse Joy looked over when they entered before finally forcing herself up from a chair and moving over rather slowly. "Hello," she greeted tiredly before looking at the pokemon and motioning them to follow her. She'd check them up and heal them in the back.

[Ferorodono]

"Um, ok, thanks." Ashter rummaged around in her bag before picking a Pokeball out. This one needed training anyways. The trainer threw out the Pokeball, and it opened to release a Gothita. "Alrighty, Rue, give it your best! Psyshock!" The girl turned to the Tropius before Rue attacked, and said, "If I win, can I capture you?" She wanted this to sound as un-awkward as possible, and suddenly had an internal spaz attack. >3

Rue smiled at the Tropius and whispered a good luck as she shot a psychic blast of energy at the Pokemon.

[Jay]

The Psyshock hit the Tropius, yet the large creature wasn't going down that easily. Forming a Body Slam, the large grass type retaliated rather quickly despite his enormous size. At the girl's question, he simply made a 'hm' sound after words not truly answering anything. If she defeated him, then... maybe.

Meanwhile, the Nurse Joy checked over the pokemon and healed what was needing to be healed.

[Ferorodono]

Rue was hit, though she managed to avoid the worst of the attack. The Psychic Pokemon was eager to show her strength to her new friend, and completely ignored Ashter (who hadn't said anything anyways, as she was mesmerized by the Tropius). The Gothita lashed out with another Psyshock, determined to win the battle and show her buddy how strong she was and how amazingly...amazing she had grown. Kee-ya! she huffed for effect, appreciating Jackie's karate lessons on making loud unnecessary sounds at every random interval. :3

[Jay]

The Psyshock hit the Tropius, yet the large grass type was still not going to go down just yet. Forming a sudden massive Earthquake, the large grass type rocked the ground rather violently then and there. He was indeed strong and was willing to show it quite well.
