An Alley? When did I get here? (Kero/Jay)

Didn’t want him to get… sick? Adam’s eyes widened with confusion for a moment as Caden spoke. The man wasn’t making a lot of sense. A piccy? What exactly was a piccy? And lie down? … actually his body was urging him to lay back down but he rarely abided by his bodies wishes. This boy sort of reminded him of Rikka. She had helped him after he had attacked her. She even drew a picture for him. Adam was assuming that was what the boy meant by piccy. After all, it would explain the paper and art material’s in his hands. But he wasn’t Rikka. He was more of a cowered than she was. He didn’t have the heart of a pokemon.

He would have snapped at Caden or came up with some sort of a threatening remark but the other man was still there. Once again his eyes narrowed as he glared at Ieri. It was because of that man that he was not going to make more shiny coin’s today. Yet the man had been stupid enough to help the stupid boy help him out of the rain. Out the one ended alleyway into an area he could easily run away if things once again began to look unfavourable for him.

A rather cruel smile slipped onto Adam’s pale face, his eyes not once sifting off the man. The smile meant one thing. Ieri had made a mistake by helping him. The moment he left Caden’s side Adam would be there to get his revenge. Ieri couldn’t be there for the boy ever. Single. Day… could he? No, that smile on Adam’s face meant Caden was going to be forever in danger.

"Did you still want that picture, or should I do it some other time?" he asks as he sat there. He was smiling, until he finally looked over to see Adam's own smile. It was rather odd and creepy, and Caden stood up. "Uh... Sir! I'm sorry, but I probably should get going for now. I really need to get where I was going, and I can get that picture for you another time. I've wasted so much time.. and I'm so much further behind than I began with. It's still pretty dark, so I should probably hurry off. That's not a problem, right sir?" Caden asks quickly. He decided that he would hurry off to the real city and into the hotel. He couldn't get attacked there anyways, since people would know. He still owed Ieri a picture, but he really needed to catch up to what he already owed before he did anything else. Once he had done it, if he met Ieri again, he'd make him the best picture ever to make up for it. [/scrolly]

Ieri's eyes had shifted towards Adam, and as Caden spoke, he finally turned his head back to the boy and seemed to soften if a little. "I understand, but would you like an escort there?" he asked after a few seconds not too thrilled with the idea of simply leaving the boy especially with that man still around. It... irritated him still... that people like that were on the streets.... After a moment, Ieri sighed again and simply waited for a reply of sorts.

Lee stared off towards Adam now with rather calm but cold eyes. It seemed that the Hitmonlee was thinking on something, yet he had far from voiced his thoughts on the matter.

He could run and hide all he wanted. In the end Adam was certain he wouldn’t be the loser of this little escapade. Well… not if they were going to be so blind as to help the very man who threatened to kill the kid. Caden had to learn not everything in life became good just because you were kind to it. For now he wouldn’t let on that he would follow them. He’d simply stay put until they were mostly out of view, then he would follow. The shadows were his friends and he knew how to use them very well. He also had another friend, a tiny friend, and she was even better at following without being seen as he was. "A body guard, huh? That'd be great, sir! When we get to a hotel, I can draw your picture too!" Caden says happily as he gets ready to go. He started to walk in the dark off of the porch. "Thank you, very much." Caden says to the man happily. He started to walk again and assumed the man would follow. [/scrolly]

Ieri did in fact follow. Despite the fact that he was supposed to continue looking for the queen, he knew well enough that his pride would not allow him to leave a child especially with someone running around like that. After a moment, he looked towards Caden and offered somewhat of a smile. "Alright, that sounds good," he answered back nodding his head. Lee, who had looked back for a moment more, turned his form again and started after Caden and Ieri.

It wasn't until they were almost out of view that Adam pulled out another pokeball and clicked the button. With a flash of light a small, female Sneasel was standing in front of Adam waiting to be told what to do. "Follow them and tell me where they bed." Adam explained to the Sneasel adding, "Keep a great distance away from them." He knew they would be on guard and so Adam didn't want to chance having Sky, his Sneasel, spotted. The ice type nodded her head before taking off to follow them, leaving Adam where he was. He would catch up later when the time was right and all believed they were safe again. [/scrolly] [bg=beige]

He looked over at the man. "He probably won't stop targeting me, right? Well, I think I shouldn't go where I was heading then. I was going to sleep in a hotel, but I could head towards my parents house. Wouldn't it be safer there?" Caden asks with a smile. He was a coward.. that was true, but he wasn't as dumb to think that the man would leave him alone. He looked like he had a grudge, so Caden would be out of here as soon as he could. He started to ponder on the idea of going to the hotel again. "Or would it be dangerous for my family if I did?" he asks silently. He didn't actually know if the man would follow them, but he was pretty freaked out from it all, no matter how much he tried to hide it to stop people from worrying. [/scrolly]

Ieri hesitated a moment unsure of what to answer back with. It would be better if Caden headed back to his own home, seeing as a hotel could leave him alone, but then the young man had also put up something about his family being in danger as well. M... this was not a good situation at all, and Ieri was pretty sure that he was going to have to do something more though he just wasn't sure of what. "How far is your home?" the muscular man finally asked. Lee, who couldn't help feeling paranoid possibly because of what Adam had said, was now shifting his eyes around, yet he didn't detect anything just yet.

She had managed to make her way up onto the roof tops and from her distance she could just barely see the shadow of the three figures in front of her. She was taking her time because they were such slow walkers. At least too slow for her liking. Why hadn’t Adam sent Kuu after them? It would have been much easier. It wasn’t like the three of them looked dangerous. Of course Sky didn’t realize Kuu had already met the three and failed. Where Adam had gone was unknown. If one looked at the porch they wouldn’t find him. [/scrolly] [bg=beige]

"Uh... it's further away than the hotel. A good bit actually.." Caden says as they go. Maybe he should just keep going through the night or something? That would take a total on his body though... Ieri nodded a bit. A bit farther but a good deal safer, really.... he thought to himself before finally coming to a full conclusion. "We'll walk there then..." he finally answered back nodding his head. "It'd be safer... and then you'd be around people that can defend you if need be..." Hopefully... Ieri was assuming at that point.

She knew very well that even if Adam followed them there he wouldn’t be able to do much. Now Sky wasn’t sure what he wanted from the boy but she wasn’t going to let Adam get caught by trying something stupid. So she quickly turned around and decided to find Adam again. She’d suggest finding the boy again some other day. Adam would most likely pout about this but it would pass. [/scrolly] [bg=beige]

"My parents aren't very wealthy.. They're a little poor,and I don't know if I'll be safe there anyways. I mean.. my parents don't even use pokemon. >.< I don't know where to go DX" Caden says rather quickly. He really didn't know if going with his parents or going alone would be better, but he was completely terrified, no matter how much he tried to hide it. [/scrolly]

Ieri had stopped walking then and was froning unsure of what to say to the young man now. If they didn't even have pokemon... then how... Ieri couldn't imagine not having pokemon. However, somehow or another, it reminded him of a rather indignant knight he had met once who had nearly refused to take pokemon.... He... wondered where she was.
