Well, would you look at that. She actually can look close to normal. At the bird's question, Kali almost leered, but forced a smile instead, looking very similar to her master for a moment. "You can stay quiet and out of the way~" she answered in a rather pleasant tone, mentally rolling her eyes. I hope my Pokemon aren't this annoying.. She knew Nibbler bugged the shit out of Leon, but that.. She smirked a bit thinking on it. That was different. Pulling out a small chair that had been tucked away into a corner, Kali instructed Vengeance to sit as she finished looking through her things. "We probably won't want to go too heavy on this, really.." she mumbled as much to herself as the other woman. Of course, given the special-effects-level of makeup Kali usually wore, 'heavy' might be a relative term. Chances of this diminished a bit as she explained, however. "Too drastic a change might be a little shocking. He's used to how you look now, so we just want to accent a little more than alter.." That, and doing it this way meant giving away less of her own makeup. As she spoke, Kali had tested a base, and- finding Ven's skin tone was in fact a pretty good match to her own- begun to apply a light layer.[/scrolly]	[atrb=style,border:0 black none;]

Vengeance walked over to the chair Kali indicated and sat down while the younger girl finished going through her things. Sitting rather still, Vengeance didn't say anything when Kali spoke about not going to heavy with the makeup. Vengeance had never worn makeup before...at least not that she could remember so this was just fine with her. When Kali started to apply the makeup, Vengeance blinked...the foundation felt odd...and cold...she didn't particularly like how the stuff felt but didn't say anything about it. Vengeance would wait to see the finished results...perhaps this odd feeling cold liquid would help...but help with what...? Leon's eye wasn't scarred up like that... It was just.. empty. Which was very odd when she thought about it, but she was sure she'd find out the whole story someday. Anyway, she needed to concentrate on what she was doing. When Kali was completely done with the foundation, she set it down and gave Ven a half-hearted sideways leer. "Talkative, aren't you," she commented very dryly. Shrugging it off, however, she moved on to her collection of eye shadow. Eye makeup was her real addiction, if that wasn't obvious enough. "Ideally, I'd like to do something smoky accented in green.." she mumbled in explanation. "But green eyeshadow would look terrible with my eyes, so I don't have any, I'm afraid.." She wondered if the inverse might work a bit better, though... Considering Ven's eyes were really pale and grayed.. A bit of contrast, used sparingly, might help draw out the green rather than clashing, as tended to happen with her own rather vivid eyes. She pondered it for about ten seconds, finally deciding that red was a more natural color to see on pale skin anyway given its prevalence just under the surface, so it was worth a shot. "Close your eye," she instructed. It didn't even occur to Kali that 'eyes' would be more natural for most people to say. If she just used this shade to start.... When it seemed that Kali had decided what color she was going to use, the girl instructed her to close her eye. Not really trying to sugarcoat at all, Kali shrugged. "Maybe, but there's no amount of makeup that's going to make that one look good," she muttered. Perhaps with movie makeup.. including latex. CGI might be easier though... Eh, whatever. "You cover it anyway, so no point in wasting on something that won't be seen." Once she was satisfied with the eye shadow, she set it back on the vanity as well and went for a black pen of sorts. "Open your eyes a sec.." Inside or out, Kali wondered. Mm.. Ven's eyes were somewhat narrow. That or she just never opened them wide, but either way.. "All right, close." That would be easier anyway. It was a pain putting eyeliner on the inner part on her own eyes without blinking; Kali could only imagine doing it to someone else. "Don't squint, now.. Try to stay completely still." She knew this detail all too well without the younger girl stating it, the scar was the reason she had covered it in the first place...it was easier to work around people who didn't grimace every time they looked at you after all. After Kali finished applying the shadow, Vengeance opened her eyes for a moment only to close them a short time afterward upon Kali's request. "Mmkay. Now, I need you to open your eyes, and keep them open. Tilt your head up, look down, and try not to blink," she instructed, pressing against Ven's forehead to coax her to tilt before getting the small brush ready. Once she'd complied, Kali carefully began applying the mascara. She twitched a bit after a moment, resisting the urge to put on about two or three times more. "Mmkay, now look up like you're rolling your eyes." Once she did, Kali did the bottom lashes. [/scrolly]	[atrb=style,border:0 black none;]

Looking down as Kali directed, Vengeance had to force herself not to pull away when she felt the mascara being applied. It didn't take long thankfully and soon enough the bottom lashes were done as well. "Is that it...?"Vengeance asked, half hoping that Kali would say yes...although Vengeance was curious as to exactly what she would look like...but that would have to wait until later. Going through another batch of items, she found a small bit of lip gloss. "I tend to prefer lipstick-" and how; most of the time her lips were actually slightly redder than her technically-magenta eyes- "But we'll go for something a bit more subtle. Pouty lip." The gloss she'd chosen was simply a light very-near-clear pink with a slight shimmer. With a slight mental twitch at touching her lips, Kali applied a light layer. "..And do this," she instructed, pursing her lips and rubbing them together a moment. That'd make sure it was even.. That done, she set it aside and stated, "And now we have to figure out what to do with your hair.. But of course, as you can see.." She pulled a handful of her own hair and held it out to one side before letting it fall back, flat and lifeless. "It's not my forte.." Stepping around behind Ven, she took down her ponytail and grabbed a hairbrush, then hesitating a moment (not that Ven could see this). ...Eh, it wasn't like she expected to woman to have lice or something; Kali was just rather paranoid about her things.. Anyway, her head couldn't be any worse than whatever that Slowbro may have done with it... She shuddered a bit at the thought. As she began to brush through Vengeance's hair, Kali noticed something, barking a somewhat bitter laugh, though as much at her own expense as the other woman's for once tonight. "I'm so sorry," she apologized rather sincerely. "Your hair is just as bad as mine." Well, this narrowed it down, at any rate. After making sure it was all brushed out, Kali moved in front of her to ponder a few moments. "Hmm.. ...Well, it's certainly better than the alternative, but an eye patch is hardly attractive... So.. let's take a page from Leon's book, mm?" That stated, she placed the side of one hand against Ven's forehead and began brushing all her hair back, then moving that hand onto her hair above her good eye as a guideline and taking another stroke back to pull that bit down from a part. After pulling the rest to the other side, she went around to get it all in the right direction, then brushed the front of the larger side down to hang in front of Ven's face, hiding the scarred remnant of an eye from view. Once that was done, Kali found herself blinking in surprise at what a difference that made. Everything done... Vengeance actually was sort of pretty, hard-pressed as she was to believe it. Of course, most reading this would realize this opinion was due very largely to Kali's own vanity, but neither woman could possibly know this at the time being.[/scrolly]	[atrb=style,border:0 black none;]

As Kali went on about how Vengeance's hair was just as bad as her own, Vengeance smirked,"I don't do much with my hair because of that..." she replied before Kali went on about taking a page from Leon's book....what exactly was thatsupposed to mean..."What about Leon..." Vengeance fell silent once again when Kali brushed her hair to hide her scarred eye, the hair in front of her face was mildly annoying...but she could live with it for now.
