Forcing himself to stand, he turned fully and stood with his arms crossed in front of himself just staring back. "I don't know what you expect me to...." he broke off and shook his head a bit already knowing or being confident enough in assuming what she would reply to upon hearing that. "No...I do..." he sighed. After a moment, he raised and index finger and forced at least on side of his face into a smile. "Your mad," was the final statement that he sighed out. At the last comment, he found himself suddenly insanely defensive and irritated. However, he was far from speaking what he wanted to say on such matters. She had no idea what she did to him half the time now did she? From his view of things, Yue was sure of it. After a moment, he simply found himself looking away again not opening his mouth more or less assuming that was going to spatter out if he did. He wouldn't be the one to start another fight on such matters and resolved to simply leave the silence be. [/scrolly]

For as much as he wanted to answer back something along the lines of 'says the one who pushes me into things I don't want to be in', he found that there were still other reasons why instantly saying that would... well... what did he care? He hadn't answered the question, yet he already knew the answer well enough.... a mixture of both, really.... Her mouth clamped shut and she swallowed a bit as she debated whether or not to tell him this. ...But then, he'd certainly told her enough today. Heh... Taking a deep breath, then, Kali admitted, "I've had other offers, you know... But I've given up every opportunity to wait for you... So then when it seems like you'll never want me...." An insecure gaze returned to him. It was something spiteful and irritated, and that was not how he was going to come off as at that point. He cooled again and only then started to note the feeling of complete lack of confidence not in Kali but in himself. At one point in time, he would probably have thought things were fine the way they were.. weren't they? Why did... It was then that Yue actually noted what it was in himself that was hesitating. and why... well...everything...that question he wasn't sure on..... How was this supposed to change things? Or was it at all? Weren't things... fine the way they were now? Was he just... not getting it or something? "And... I've told you things..." he finally said looking back at her not entirely shifting the question but simply.... "I've lowered more barriers with you than anyone else... Neither of those are going to change any time soon. ...I'm not going to stop wanting you, but.. if I've waited this long already, I can certainly keep waiting..." Looking up to him now with soulful eyes, she went on, "I'm not mad... I'm just impatient and frustrated." Sometimes more than others. "Just... be patient with me?" Her gaze fell again, along with her full mood, as another realization she'd had sort of cropped back up in her mind. She tried to downplay it a bit. "It's just... I know we're still getting closer. Your honest streak earlier proves that, but.. It's hard not to feel like things have sort of come to a stand-still, and there's been no reason to hope it might be moving farther any time soon, and..." She took a rather deep breath then, trying to calm her shaking, her voice dropping to a small squeak. "I... can't help but wonder sometimes.... wherethisisgoing..." She swallowed hard. However, at her statements on impatient and frustrated, he breathed in quietly feeling a bit more at peace, yet that was pushed away again at her last comment. Where... it was going....She... really was mature, really.... Which... somehow made him feel... well......Something else had come to his thoughts at that moment and suddenly he found himself pulling her closer and gently kissing her forehead. "Such big concerns..." he finally answered back. After a moment, he simply held her closer still somehow and rested his head on her shoulder. "And here... all I want.... is just for you to stay... the way you are.. the way things are... I'm... sorry Kali... that... I guess I'm... a tad short-sighted on these things..." [/scrolly]

"It was pretty gray out when we came in.. but hopefully it'll clear up as the day goes on, or at least won't start raining, and we can watch the sky from up there~" Of course... They did have large flying dragons, and could always get up from the outside. That just didn't sound nearly as fun as roaming around all dark and secret-like, though. However, that was thrown off in another second by her explaining why, and for a moment, he found himself smirking a little. However, after that, he tried to make himself serious again. "I...." he stated trying to think it up. A wayward image of his mother came to mind, and he found himself cringing for a few seconds. One had only to look at the contents of any given handful of her PokeBalls to realize that. Heh... So... Just trying to come up with something would be more frustrating than amusing, wouldn't it.. Suddenly, one solution came to mind, and so intrigued was the girl that she simply had to voice it. "So.. I may have been thinking on kid names just for fun.. But I just had a thought..."
