"A sand bike?" he asked with a smirk more than sure that it wasn't what she wanted but saying it anyways becuase he was determined to have fun with this. "Or a boat off the docks of Wharfenfair?" he asked before slowly becoming more serious. "Or what? How about... all the stars in the sky... " [/scrolly]

Kali completely deadpanned at the first guess, too befuddled to even manage a proper 'wut?' She.. had a dragon, and a horse-like dog.. The logical part of her mind understood the smirk meant he was being an ass, but somehow that didn't really help. When his second guess came, however, the warm fuzziness returned as she breathed a tiny laugh. It actually surprised her a bit, honestly. He tended to pretend he didn't know or care about a lot of her interests if it came up. Judging by this, though, he either was trying to play tough or just enjoyed pissing her off most of the time. Quite possibly both. Naturally, the third still didn't get it, but it did put her in such a state she couldn't have not-smiled if she'd wanted to. After a light but bright laugh, she asked "Oh, but love... Where would I put them all?" She nuzzled against him, laughing a bit more before calming slightly. He blinked a moment expecting Kali to go on, yet when she didn't, he simply stared. Him? ..... As in..... Whatever smile had been on Yue's face, it had settled into something rather... flat..... And it wasn't as though he was going to fake misinterpretation seeing as that wouldn't fix...not really fix but... what was the word ...................anyways.... but rather buy time. After a few seconds, he found himself looking sideways. "Kali...." he finally stated unsure of where exactly he was going with that. Her blood was already racing, and only sped as her nerves steadily declined now. This... wasn't going to turn out like their first date, was it? No.. No it wouldn't be that bad, but... Was she trying to rush him again? Suddenly a million worries overtook her, causing her to shake lightly. As if she needed things to get any worse, some certain advice she'd gotten as to a rather direct approach flashed through her mind, killing whatever coherent thoughts were left as she frantically tried to ward it off. It was some time, then, before she finally calmed enough to try speaking again. Once she did, her words were small and uncertain and rather mumbled. All the while, she remained frozen with his head resting there. "I just..." She suppressed a small whimper. "Wanna be completely yours and..." She swallowed a bit, voice becoming even less confident if possible as she suddenly felt terribly selfish. However, after a bit, he finally sucked in a bit of air and tightened his hold on her. "I love you, Kali..." was finally all he answered back with as he simply continued to hold her close. Moving his head off her shoulder, he simply rubbed his hand on one of her arms rather lightly. [/scrolly]

She knew he loved her. She really did. But he didn't say it out loud as often as she did, and it was always a pleasant treat to hear. But at the same time, then... "But how can I make you want me...?" She'd been trying. Hell, longer than she'd actually wanted him she'd been trying, even if only insincerely. But... nothing. She got a blush and brief stare out of seeing her in a bra for the first time, but knowing what she did now Kali honestly imagined it was more akin to childhood innocence than appreciation. Never had her efforts been able to get a rise out of him, so to spe-.... <///< actually no, that was pretty appropriate wasn't it... =////=;; Trying to push these crushing thoughts aside, Kali sighed. "What... am I doing wrong...?" There had to be something. The idea that he didn't love her 'in that way' had long since been extinguished. Jumpy as an unexpected kiss made him, they'd still made out more than once. Usually if he slept, anymore, he did so holding her. They went through rough spots, but especially after all he'd shared at last earlier, Kali really had given up any doubt about just how much she meant to him, and such had become the pride of her existence. At the second question, Yue found himself suddenly apt to speak again. "Nothing wrong..." he answered back without a second thought on the matter. However, after he had taken in his own words, he thought of something else and sighed. "It's me and you know it," he sighed frowing greatly at his own words sadly sincerely believing them. A part of him was irking to at least put up a smile again even if it was cheesy or something, yet for some reason, he found himself not quite able to do so at the moment. "Your eyes are both knives and diamonds," he answered back after a few seconds. "Your smile is a lot better than that puffy frown I've seen you use, and it's calming, really...." After a moment, he found his arms unwinding and eventually both hands had come to either side of Kali's face before he found himself shoving both sides into a big, somewhat cheesy, smile. "Your hair is long and almost unsafe to have around the machines in the lab, but at the same time pretty and soft..... M..." He stopped a moment and moved his hands away before shoving either side of his face up into a smile and appearing possibly even more cheesy. [/scrolly]

As per usual, Kali found herself feeling ridiculously odd when he forced her to smile, a piece of her wanting to squirm and pull away and the rest realizing she'd feel terrible if she did and was otherwise quite content anyway. The comment on her hair honestly just made her question what the reason for Jasmine and Ven was, then, given each had even longer hair than she did. ...Huh. Kali's really was getting a bit long though. Meh. When he forced his own smile, though, Kali couldn't help but laugh, then hugging him tight. "You're so ridiculous... but sweet...~" After a few moments, though, she let out a disappointed sigh.. "Sorry...." was finally what came from him as he sighed a little shaking his head rather quietly then and there as he once again became more serious. After a moment, he sighed a little trying to resist the urge to roll his eye and finally ended up looking up and keeping his sight there. ".........Kali," he stated before finally looking back down again not saying what had just come to mind on the subject. 'You're a kid' had moved through his thoughts yet again, yet he wouldn't speak it given he assumed she'd either be hurt by it or say something snarky along the lines of 'then you're a pedo'. Some part of her had actually debated instead saying 'Yuan', in the manner that a mother uses a long or full name in scolding small children, but she had managed to refrain. Sighing again, she eventually just stood up, then, pulling away from him and moving over to sit on the throne again, sitting properly this time. Whether this was more because the floor was starting to get uncomfortable or just that she was pouting and was trying to 'punish' him by creating some distance was anyone's guess.
