[scrolly:h(230),w(390),sy,as(padding:4px;margin-top:10px;margin-left:10px;)] Sen had learned many very important lessons this week. The first and by far most important was that he should avoid the Southern cities and towns completely. The people in the south seemed to be more aware of the posters than in any other city or town. No doubt it was because the noble who had started the entire mess lived in the southern region. However, he had to be here for the old man. Kel was going to attempt to give the noble a bit of ‘trouble’ as a warning. Course, the old man refused to explain what his plain was exactly but he had promised him he would stick around the area just in case.
The second lesson he learned is why he never had serious relationships with anyone. They were more of a pain then enjoyable. It was all due to that one damn negative feeling he had. Fear. He’s say he hated the fear but that wasn’t the right word for it. Yet here he was, claiming that getting close to someone wasn’t worth it yet he had the strongest urge to leave a letter for Kali in one of the near by pokemon marts. That is… if he could get close to one without being chased down.
Last but not… well ok it was the least important… anyway, the last lesson he learned was that the desert was REALY HOT! He had never had a tan in his life but wow did he burn. He had fallen asleep in the sun the other day causing his face to turn a deeper red than his hair. Today it was a bit better. Still a tad red but it had gone down. Not wishing to burn again today, he took his black under shirt off and wrapped in over his head, tangling his hair in it as if it were some kind of a towel. He had then managed to steal a light, white, buttoned up shirt to wear over his back. He had refused to button it up but it at least looked alright… if it weren’t for the black shirt on his head. Eventually he had ended up lost while looking for some shade and found himself in a very long stretch of sand. After a good hour of walking he finally, to his joy, found an odd spot with small lake, a few palm trees and even a bit of grass. It was… a life saver! Pokemon heaven! A paradise! Normally he wouldn’t be too interested in swimming but today he didn’t care. The sun was… kind of blocked by sand, but it still there and so was the heat. Within moments he had managed to toss his shirt and pants to the side before making his way almost waste deep into the water and sitting down. It was so soothing. Ada, not much for wanting to swim, had managed to climb one of the trees while keeping an eye on Sen.
So, there he was. Sitting neck deep in cool, not cold, cool water with a shirt on his head and now wet boxers. Life was pretty alright. Best part was, Kel hadn’t singled for help yet which meant things must have been going good for him too. After what seemed like an hour, though it was only really fifteen minutes, Sen stood himself up and made his way out of the water. His shoulders were feeling hot which meant one thing. The sun was starting to take its toll once again. “Ada!” Was the first thing he yelled out as he stumbled around in the grassy sand searching for something. “Do I have sun block?” Somewhere in one of the trees a loud hiss could be heard in reply which Sen clearly recognized as a no. Letting out a sigh he decided it would be a good time to get dressed but his boxers were wet. He couldn’t put his pants back on till they were dry. At the very lest he could put the white shirt back on and leave it unbuttoned again which was exactly what he did. When it was finally done he scanned the area, hoping to find a rock or something he could sit on while he dried. All he could find was sand. A little further out the wind was really strong causing the sand to blow up in a odd sort of sand storm. Luckily the small area around parts of the Oasis seemed fine. No wind, no sand, just sun. He still needed a rock, damn it. [/scrolly] [bg=4f2a66] |

Kali was keeping her eyes squinted shut and her body and face pressed close to Kjaerlighet. She couldn't hope to see a thing herself, and was just trusting and hoping the Flygon would. It seemed like ages being buffeted by the rough stormed, but at long last Kjaer did spot what seemed to be a small break in the storm- a thick cluster of trees seeming to partially avert the relatively light blast- and headed toward it. Thank Arceus for those incredible natural goggles!
When Kali felt the sand stop- or slow at any rate- she carefully opened her eyes to realize they were at the Oasis. There were several littered throughout the desert, but from the apparent size this wasn't a, but The. So they'd been traveling in the right direction after all! Ff. Kali had wanted to head out here today to 'search for Pokemon', and probably spend a lot of the day actually swimming. But then this damn storm picked up and... bah. Well, at least it wasn't worse... Maybe it'd die down again soon.
When Kjaer landed, she looked around as she dismounted and immediately spotted another person. The girl froze for just a fraction of a second in surprised fear, hoping they wouldn't prove a threat, but by the time that second had completely passed her eyes had grown wide with disbelief and delight. Another moment to confirm, and "SEN!"
What distance there was between them quickly vanished until Kali simply threw herself at him the rest of the way, locking her arms around and hugging tight. "I've been hoping I'd find you- what are the odds!" At this point, she suddenly noticed his bare skin under the open shirt and really looked at him before flying back a foot or two, blushing furiously. "Er- sorry... ... So you look nice," she teased with a rather awkward laugh. Not that she was really worried about anything- once she'd figured out he was gay he'd complimented her appearance once more and nothing after- it just seemed... like an invasion of privacy, she supposed. [scrolly:h(230),w(390),sy,as(padding:4px;margin-top:10px;margin-left:10px;)] “Ada!” Sen called out to the spider pokemon once more, “Do you see a rock anywhere?” He didn’t get a reply this time. He hoped that meant she was scanning the srea for one. What it really meant was that she had noticed something rather large landing near by. Sen hadn’t even noticed it until a voice rang out his name. At first he didn’t recognize it and he ended up turning with a bit of panic thinking that some cop or bounty hunter or something had actually found him all the way out here. Luckily, much to his surprise, it was none of the above. “Kali?” Was what he had managed to blurt out as she wrapped her arms around him and began to speak before jumping a few feet away.
Naturally he would have had burst out in laughter yet he couldn’t. He had frozen in his spot, his burnt face paling a bit as his muscles locked up in fear. It was silly really. It wasn’t like she had come here to hurt him yet the fear had come on so fast and so strong that it was latterly causing his body to start to tremble. He had to… he had to make it stop. Clear the mind and remind himself that she was just a friend. She was a like a co-worker. He didn’t have to worry about him hurting him. No, not if he couldn’t get hurt anymore.
“I’ve… been wanting to see you too.” He blurted out finally, the words causing his body to relax a little. “I got a sun burn! And a new shirt.” He let out a small chuckle after announcing that, trying his best to relax even more though his laughter and expression were still rather stiff. “And also… been wanting to ask you some questions. If that’s ok?”

Oh shit what was wrong? She forced a bit of a laugh with him when he'd mentioned his sunburn-- though some very small voice in the back of her mind was in disbelief it sounded like he only had the two shirts, quickly silenced-- but it was pretty clear.. He was acting strangely. Either she'd caught him on a very good day before or... No, that didn't even make sense in full context. He was definitely just very ill at ease about something. She'd really wanted to squee right away, but... Eh. Misery loved company, and she didn't want to throw her good news at him and risk it somehow making him want to skip whatever he was wanting to say. Not that Sen was really normal, apparently, but... Well still, it was just polite, she reasoned.
"Yeah, of course," she answered rather seriously. Her chest was almost swollen for both sentiment and pride that he'd wanted to come to her, even if she did know he didn't really have other friends. Hell, that he'd wanted to see her again at all was a pleasant surprise, even if one she'd been hoping for. "You wanna sit down?" Even as she did, though, her eyes for some reason or other were drawn to his boxers, though quickly averted with a blush, though not before realizing aside from his shirt he was literally dripping wet. The bits of the sandstorm blowing in off and on had to be obnoxious enough, so she froze halfway down and stood back up.
"Actually, sand kind of sucks," she commented casually, pulling her bag around and retrieving her sleeping bag to spread out, sitting on it as she'd done on the roof in Lexicon. This thing had gotten so worn out and filthy over the months on one side, but eh.. The side she always sat on was still nice enough, and all it was really used for since she'd gone to the lab was a picnic blanket anyway. "So yeah, go on?" She hoped it was nothing too bad..[/scrolly] | [atrb=style,border:0 black none;] | [atrb=style,height:22;border:0 black none;] |

[scrolly:h(230),w(390),sy,as(padding:4px;margin-top:10px;margin-left:10px;)] Sen looked down at her as she sat down. He was almost thinking of sitting as well when he remembered the reason he wanted to find a rock instead. It seemed she had realized as well as she decided to stand up again claiming that the sand sucked. “Yah, I went swimming.” He laughed a little, setting a hand behind he head. Ok, so his sitting in the water couldn’t really be called swimming but eh, it was close enough. “I don’t want to get your blanket all wet. I’ll just ummm…” His eyes scanned the ground quickly falling on his bag and pants. “Sit on these.” Without worrying if she was going to protest that or not, he took a few steps and picked up his pants before tossing them into a ball and sitting down on them.
“Anyway, I ah, I was just thinking these past few days.” It seemed sometime while he had gotten his pants and sat down he had loosened up making it feel more and more like he were just talking to an old co-worker or something, “All my problems seem to link to this one negative feeling I actually have. Keeps me from making friends and what not. Then it hit me one night.” The night he had seen Ty again and met that woman… what was her name… ah yes, Bianca. “You’re a scientist and so is that guy, ah Leon and you guys would know or know of other scientist too and… well… Umm.. I was thinking. Maybe, you or someone you know could take a look at me. Figure out what happened to the missing emotions. If they are just blocked or completely missing and then maybe…” He fidgeted with his wet boxers a bit, “Can take it out too.” What he was really trying to say was that he wanted to block out his fear. He figured if he wasn’t afraid of anything then he wouldn’t be afraid to make friends or hang around people more then once. Heck, it would be perfect. He just didn’t realize how much of a request that was. Nor did he know that scientists didn’t just study and experiment anything. They had specialise and a human brain scientist probably wasn’t all that common. But he had asked anyway. He figured it was a better idea then trying to figure out how to block it all on his own. Most likely the resort he would take if she told him no. He also didn’t see any of the negative effects losing his fear might have.

Immediately at these words, Kali's mind jumped to a rather less scientific solution, but she banished it in an instant. She would not become the one to betray his trust like-... However, when he finished his sentence, Kali's mind stopped functioning briefly. For nearly a minute, she sat there looking dumbfounded and mildly horrified, and then...
The very loud sound of skin on skin echoed through the vicinity, though the thickness of the air around them and harsh winds kept it from sounding too far. Sen's cheek was probably redder than his hair, but Kali's glare was redder still. "You idiot," she spat. Just alike. They were just alike in the way they thought, except Sen hadn't had as much time to grow up as Leon. "Your solution to your problem is to run from it? ...What-.... what kind of existence is that?!" she exclaimed, voice raising and cracking toward the end. "You don't-.. Don't you remember I felt sorry for your loss as-is? Did-- you even consider why that might be?"
How... was she supposed to explained emotions to someone without them? Kali took a deep breath and sighed, tone calming as she reached out and touched his shoulder, grabbing rather tight just in case he tried to pull away. "Sen... You can't exist without fear." Looking around, she tried to spy the spider she was certain was somewhere, but it was useless. Her skills in stealth were sublime. Still.. "Those wanted posters. If you aren't afraid of going to jail, why not try it? Or I'm pretty sure it said dead or alive... How would you live if you weren't afraid to die?" Her focus fell briefly to the ring on her finger, though she didn't actively look at it, hoping he wouldn't notice until she showed up. Her voice fell lower. "How can you love if you aren't afraid of losing people...? Any 'people'," she specified, recalling his views. "What if you weren't afraid of losing-.. Ada? I'm sure you still wouldn't WANT to, but if something did happen, why would you care?" It had taken her a minute to recall the spider's name, but she was pretty sure that was right.[/scrolly] | [atrb=style,border:0 black none;] | [atrb=style,height:22;border:0 black none;] |

[scrolly:h(230),w(390),sy,as(padding:4px;margin-top:10px;margin-left:10px;)] Sen felt his head turn and the sting on his cheek as she slapped him. The reaction she got out of him wasn’t an upset, or angry but instead he simply let out a small “Owie” As he raised his hand to his cheek and chuckled a little. His purple eyes fell on Kali as after her words, ‘You Idiot’ came spilling out of her mouth before dropping the ground as he tried to take in what she was saying. At the very lest the slap had let him know that he probably shouldn’t say anything until she was finished yelling him.
The first thing she claimed was that he was running away from his problem. He really didn’t see it as running away but maybe she would explain as she continued to scold him. He did remember her feeling sorry for him though. He also remembered not understanding why she felt sorry for him. Perhaps he hadn’t thought about it long enough. But… no, he still didn’t understand why. When she grabbed hold of his shoulder, his purple eyes once again made contact with hers and he continued to listened. He kind of understood what she said next, yet at the same time he saw it in another light as well. However, he didn’t voice it quiet yet. He’d let her finish because just as Kel had always told him, when a woman is angry, let her speak. When the mention of love came up a small bundle of fear filled up inside him again as his memories of Ty flooded back to him. It was enough to cause him to take his eyes off her for a moment before she mentioned Ada.
“But…” He had to think about this a little before looking away again, “If I lost Ada I wouldn’t care anyway.” He claimed before realizing that he probably should explain, “I might fear losing her, but once I have I know I wont care. It wouldn’t bother me if I got arrested right now or…” The idea of love came back to his mind, “And I don’t think I’m capable of loving anyone. I piss people off when I try and yet I just felt better that I had gotten ride of him.” He hadn’t even realized that in that sentence alone he gone from talking about people in general to one person by the end. “I don’t want to be afraid every time I think of seeing you again. Wouldn‘t I be braver?” He didn’t want to be afraid anymore. It was annoying and he just understand her reasons. If he could live without his other emotions than why would it change so much if he lost the fear as well? But at least he had her. Even if he was afraid of seeing her she was still here to explain things to him. To help him understnad what he should be understanding with the feelings he didnt have.

How was it even possible for him-... One little bit, that 'him', did greatly intrigue her but... Overall she just... Eventually, she sighed and shook her head. "If someone stole Ada, you wouldn't care?" If he could accept death, that was good for him, but that wasn't all she'd meant by loss.. "Courage... isn't the absence of fear. If you aren't afraid of either, it's no braver to walk off a cliff than it is to eat lunch. If you want to be brave..." She repositioned a bit, wondering just when this headache she was noticing had started. "You have to overcome your fear, not get rid of it.."

[scrolly:h(230),w(390),sy,as(padding:4px;margin-top:10px;margin-left:10px;)] If they stole Ada? He… he would… “I…” Nope, trying to think about it aloud didn’t help either. He wasn’t sure what he would think if she was stolen from him. He didn’t know how he would react. He had never really thought about it before.
Well… now he just felt stumped. He couldn’t live without fear. He had to overcome it not just get rid of it. Other wise he’d be losing everything he cared about because… he wouldn’t be afraid to lose it. He would protect it! That’s what she meant. Ok, but then, with his fear he kept pushing people away. When he tried to deal with the fear he had made things worse. So it was a lose, lose situation either way. In his mind at least. “I guess it was a bad idea then.” Sen finally claimed before a smile returned to his face, “So, how have you been?” Deep down inside he still wanted to get rid of the fear but he didn’t want to force Kali into having to explain even more.

"Indescribable," she almost laughed. To him... it probably really was. Heh.. "But..." She was almost afraid to press the issue, but then... He'd actually sought her out to talk about it, right? So apparently he was in fact looking to speak. "I have to know now... What 'him'?" She hadn't missed that this was said in line with the word love, as well. She'd try not to jump to conclusions yet, though; he may just have used the word because she had, and meant only a lesser form when his subject had shifted. [scrolly:h(230),w(390),sy,as(padding:4px;margin-top:10px;margin-left:10px;)] Indescribable? How was one indescribable? Oh, he was confused but not for long. She seemed to be poking back at parts of the old subject again. He knew right off what she asking but… “Oh well, I… tried to go out with a guy more than once.” He explained, keeping it as vague as he possibly could, “But it didn’t go so well and he left. I guess I can be an uncaring jerk.” The first reason they had broken up actually hadn’t been Sen’s fault at all but because he didn’t have the feelings he should he just figured he didn’t understand what he did wrong. The third time they had seen each other Sen knew very well that he had been jerk and yet he still hadn’t cared. “It got ride of the fear. So the way I see it, I’ve got to be a jerk to get the fear to go away. I have to push people away and when they are gone so it is. So I thought if I cut the fear out then I wouldn’t have to push people away and I could maybe… I’m sorry. It’s stupid. ” He didn’t actually feel it was stupid but he knew she had already tried to explain why getting ride of the fear was bad. She shouldn’t have to explain it again, right?

Well, she wasn't going to repeat herself, at least. No, mildly fuming as she was, Kali realized she at least needed to try another approach. Of course, some rather less caring part of her made this quite easy, but she still tried to tone it down a little. "You are a jerk," she shrugged, tone just slightly cutting, though it grew worse. "And a blind stubborn self-centered pig-headed ass. Sympathy is apparently another thing you lack even though it's more neutral than negative, so all you really care about is yourself and your possessions, Pokemon included. There is absolutely no logical reason any being on the planet should give a rat's ass about your existence except if they can somehow gain from it."
Mild rant over, she sat there glaring at him for several moments before her expression suddenly softened. Pushing herself up to stand on her knees, becoming temporarily taller than him in the process, she somewhat cupped the back of his head in both hands and tilted it toward her to kiss his forehead, then just held him. "And yet here I am," she sighed gently. "You can't let one bad relationship kill what faith you have in humanity.. [scrolly:h(230),w(390),sy,as(padding:4px;margin-top:10px;margin-left:10px;)] She was right. Brutally right, but right none the less. He was probably one of the only people in the world who would take all that news with a soft chuckle and a “Yah, you’re probably right…” Probably why no one ever really cared before anyway. Sept maybe Kel. Then again he never really gave other people a chance to know him either.
Then she took her hands and cupped his face, kissing his forehead before just holding him and speaking once again. He had to admit, the kiss had confused him but the words after soon cleared everything up. He, wasn’t really sure what to say but he felt he needed to say something. “So I need to find a male version of you and hope he doesn’t already have a Leon.” He chuckled a bit again feeling a lot better about the whole thing. Sure, he still didn’t understand the reasons behind losing the fear was bad but he now understood why he didn’t need to get rid of it. He could just stay the way he was because there had to be other people out there kind of like her. He could work with that. Ty just hadn’t understood him. That was all.

She was quite certain he didn't understand just how strong that could have sounded, but ended up with a soft, somewhat euphoric grin all the same as she sat back down, though her hands fell only slightly to the back of his neck. "I'm sure there's one out there." The grin widened a little. "And if he's really me, you'll be a magnet. We have established you're all but gay-Leon yourself~" she teased.
Speaking of.. ... Although... Another thought occurred, and she figured why the hell not? It would be.. interesting to see, at any rate. "Though you know..." She sighed a bit. "Leon still isn't my boyfriend." Ah, the power of vaguely specific terms. "And he's made me stop the seduction attempts, even." Or not so much 'made her' as made offers which caused her to, but meh. She dropped one hand, and moved the other to hold his chin, stroking it a bit with her thumb (and feeling that almost-fuzz he apparently called stubble, heh). Grinning softly again, she cooed, "If my gender is the only problem, wouldn't it be easier to try getting past that and just take what's right in front of you?" [scrolly:h(230),w(390),sy,as(padding:4px;margin-top:10px;margin-left:10px;)] Sne laughed at her comment about him being a magnet to the male version of her and that he was clearly a gay Leon. “You would know best.” He replied still laughing a bit only stopping when she began to speak again.
It was bad news. He knew she really liked the white haired man and Sen wished he could at lest feel sad for her. What if she was feeling that same fear he had felt for Ty? He wasn’t good at handling it and he didn’t want her to have to deal with it either. What she said next had shocked him. He was dumb founded. For some reason the idea of dating her never came to his mind. He was certain it because of Leon and the fact that she was female. She had a rather good point though. If she was single and couldn’t get the man she wanted and if he could just learn to be with a woman… perhaps it would be easier but… well he wasn’t so sure. He did really like her. She was pretty, easy to talk to and he actually saw her more then once. Perhaps he… could… maybe…
Very slowly he leaned a bit closer to her, closing his eyes to kiss her softly on the lips. In another moment he pulled away just as slowly as he had came and opened his eyes to look at her for a moment. He then shook his head, “It’s… just not…” Not what? He wasn’t sure of the word but he knew she wasn’t the one. He just knew it, somewhere deep inside.

Hands flew to cover her mouth- right over left by sheer luck- as her face suddenly darkened to match her eyes. "Sen I-..." For the record, he kissed her and she didn't return it at all, so.. Leon.. did not need to know about this..
After a few more stunned moments, she finally lowered her hands and laughed nervously, giving a rather sheepish look. "I'm sorry... That... was really mean I guess.." She had expected him.... eh... Suddenly her thoughts were so jumbled she wasn't 100% certain what she'd been doing at the moment, though she did know it was something to do with testing his reaction. She just really hadn't thought... Heh... "I didn't actually think... Heh. ... It is really nice to know you put so much consideration into the things I say though?" It was almost a joke meant to lighten the mood. ..Almost.
She definitely had to set him straight, though. ...On the facts not the-... Ah whatever. Egh, that had been lame even in her own mind. Moving on.. She turned her gaze away a bit. "I was just... curious what you'd do." She forced a weak shrug. In her defense, claiming his ideal partner would be her as a single man had done nothing to dampen that curiosity.. "But really, the main reason I wanted to find you was to tell you...."
A distant smile came to her face now as she continued staring down at the sand. "I've stopped trying to get him in bed-" or certain ways in.. eh he knew what she meant- "Because he wants to wait... And..." The smile brightened, her full face practically glowing now despite her still-slightly-distant eyes. "He isn't my boyfriend.. because..." She glowed even a little brighter as her eyes moved back up to him, then she held up her left hand a few inches from her face, back of it towards him, neither flat nor quite clenched. Her gaze fell to it a moment and then moved back to him, and she giggled gleefully, now something of a Cheshire cat. Upon this hand glinted a fairly simple yet elegant golden diamond ring.[/scrolly] | [atrb=style,border:0 black none;] | [atrb=style,height:22;border:0 black none;] |

[scrolly:h(230),w(390),sy,as(padding:4px;margin-top:10px;margin-left:10px;)] Sne simply smiled when she cliamed it had been mean of her though he didn’t really understand why. He hadn’t felt what he would expect to feel when kissing her so there was no harm done. He did laugh a bit though when she claimed it was nice to know he at least listened to her. “Well I try.” He replied, “Even if I suck at it” He chuckled a bit. Well it at least it was now obvious what he’d do and what he wouldn’t do again. Not that he didn’t like the kiss… just.
He listened carefully as she tried to explain what ever it was she was trying to explain. It really wasn’t making even a lick of sense until she finally held up her hand and showed him the wedding ring on her finger. Instantly his cheeks flushed a bright pink now feeling rather embarrassed that he had kissed her when she was… well… hopefully Leon never, ever found out. He had a feeling he’d get a little more then a just a whack on the head with a cane. “I guess it’s a good thing nothing clicked with that kiss.” He joked, even laughing a little, “Congratulations though. I bet you’re happy to finally know where you stand with him.” He truly was happy for Kali. The way he had heard her talk about Leon before had made it clear to him that she really did care a lot for the guy. Originally it had sounded like she hadn’t gotten very far with him but now it seemed she had been much further ahead then she had expected.

"Indeed.. It would've been such a shame to shoot you down," she teased. Looking back at the ring herself, she fought back a fit of giggles all over again, only half-winning that fight. "I knew he loved me," she clarified. "I just.. hate pressing an issue too much and he's not good at recognizing subtle hints. Apparently, he had no idea he needed to ever say I was really his girlfriend." She shook her head, clearly amused.
"We ended up talking a lot on my birthday, and..." She laughed a bit awkwardly. "Well, it was sort of in an odd situation and not really romantic like he'd wanted to, but he still asked~" She squeaked a bit. All right, so.. He told her he was going to ask, but same effect. "Happy... isn't even the word.."
Giving him something of a smirk, her tone turned more sly. "Tell you a secret? .... He wants to wait until I'm eighteen, so I've got a whole year to wait, but... I'm terrified..." Despite the words, she was still grinning wickedly. "It's.... a good fear though." She sat back a bit now, and smiled more directly to him rather than just while looking at him. "I hope it's something you'll feel one day~"

[scrolly:h(230),w(390),sy,as(padding:4px;margin-top:10px;margin-left:10px;)] Sen simply grinned when she claimed she would have shot him down. He didn’t say anything however. He just simply listened as she explained why he had never admitted his love for her before and how he had asked her to marry him. It was clear this wedding was going to be one of the best things that ever happened to her. He was happy. She deserved it. At least, he believed she did. Not that a petty thieves opinion mattered all that much. Then she explained how she was terrified about the whole thing. Perhaps… that was another reason why he shouldn’t get rid of his fear. Sometimes fear was a good feeling… kind of like when he had gone on those rides with Jack. They wouldn’t have been as fun if it weren’t for the fear factor, right? He was kind of starting to understand now.
“Yah…” Sen replied softly before looking up at her with a big smile, “Maybe someday.” He doubted it. He didn’t see himself ever getting married. Heck, he didn’t see himself living past the age of thirty let along settling down with someone. Feelings or no feelings most thieves didn’t have much to live for unless they were doing it for huge amounts of cash. Course that often meant doing a bit more then just stealing. Sen had tried a few of the types of jobs before. He’d conned people, tricked them, smuggled things and even killed a few but… It just wasn’t his way of doing things. Something deep inside said it was wrong. Besides, he didn’t like to admit it, but death kind of bothered him. It gave him that same fear as when he tried to make a commitment with someone.
“So do you guys have a date set for next year then?” He asked cheerfully, trying to put the subject back onto her. “You’ll have a lot of planning to do whether it’s a big wedding or small. And you’ll need to get a dress. Maybe I can help you pick one.” He let out a small chuckle as he got ready to add, “Apparently us gay guys are good at that kind of thing.” He really had no idea if his sense of fashion was actually good or not but he did enjoy going clothes shopping. He just couldn’t normally buy much for himself. It was hard to travel with too much clothes.

[cs=3][atrb=style,height:87px;width:469px;border:0 black none;][atrb=style,border:0 black none,bTable][atrb=background,http://i219.photobucket.com/albums/cc64/Heart-of-Thorns/VC/kalitable2.png,bTable] | [atrb=style,width:215;border:0 black none;] | [atrb=style,height:265;width:221;border:0 black none;color:b7b7b7;][scrolly:h(265),w(221),sy,as(padding:4px;)]Kali grinned when he mentioned his fashion sense, though her mind went through a set of assumptions similar to the actual truth. She really couldn't help but judge a person's wardrobe at least a little, but she tried to be understanding about it. At least he had a good excuse, unlike Vengeance who had just as much ability (she assumed; she'd be surprised if she made more than the other lab workers but never wrote it off as impossible either) and just chose to wear those two identical outfits over and over. Feh. At least she'd started trying a bit more lately, finally.
"I might just take you with me," she half-teased. She knew she would enjoy having a gay friend. x3 "The soonest we can is on my 18th birthday, though I'd really rather our anniversary not be exactly then. ...Not that I want to wait longer than I have to, so probably a week or few after," she lightly laughed. Plenty of time to prepare all the technical stuff, but enough to find enough guests to make a wedding worth having? That much did worry Kali. If it was only going to be some five people, they may as well just see a judge.. or a ship captain! ... Hurr that one she might keep in mind either way.. Hehe. They hadn't decided on just where yet, after all. Smiling sweetly at Sen, she added, "I'll definitely let you know when we pick when and where though... I'd really like for you to be there."
Deciding she should probably bring up her other query before it was forgotten, however, she quickly shifted into a more sly mode. "I have a question though.." She smirked a bit at him. "Why did you blush when I told you?" Even if the answer was vastly different from her guesses, it would be interesting. Like Leon, it would be a joy to figure out just how this man's mind worked.[/scrolly] | [atrb=style,border:0 black none;] | [atrb=style,height:22;border:0 black none;] |
